When I read spoilers or saw promos for most of the episodes this season, my attitude was pretty much - Whatever. There were all of three that I was 'interested' in. I'm stoked about this one! I hope TMTB don't ruin it with bad writing.
As for her whipping that guy, I think she probably got probation. I expect she had no previous criminal record, and was under obvious emotional duress. She can afford a 'very' good lawyer and I suspect Grissom probably testified on her behalf so that's why I think probation.

Ah....I so can't wait!! I do like Lady Heather and love it when she makes an appearence! Lady Heather has a knack for knowing things that one thinks she wouldn't have a clue about!
The conversation where Catherine wants to slap him and says he might enjoy it....leaves open so many possibilities. Grissom didn't seem to shocked by her comment! :lol:
So many questions...so many possibilities! Love taking the long winding road to get to the truth! Things aren't always as they seem!

Well, the CTV promo looks a lot cooler than the US one. Daaaang.
Definitely wondering how Sara will think about all this... with Lady H back and all. Catherine's seeming a bit pissed. HOW HOT.

catherine does not only seem a bit pissed. she seems definitely pissed!
but i'm wondering why should she be so angry at grissom?
she isn't supposed to know about GSR so it can't be that she thinks he hurts sara or something.
and as there's no hint for Grillows, she can't be jealous either.
so i'm really excited to get the answers to all our questions

I think the reason Catherine is angry is because she knows the history of LH and Grissom. She knows Lady Heather is "shady" of sorts and the fact that Grissom is involved in the case and associating himself with her is what is making her angry. Considering the fact that she was a suspect TWICE and probably knows about the whole sleeping-with-her-daughter's-killer-to-get-DNA issue. That also probably doesn't set well with her.

And she gathers that he has a GF(As heard in LLV) and she's probably worrying for the other woman's feelings (Even though she doesn't know it's Sara...)

My two cents:
I always had the impression that Catherine liked Lady Heather. I think she may be angry either because
1.) Grissom is not behaving impartially to the case and is (apparently) staying with Lady Heather one night while Catherine/police are investigating her. This may appear to Catherine that he trusts LH more than her.
or
2.) she finds out about GSR and is explaining to Gil why he is such an #$%HOLE.
I think the second one isn't as likely, but dare to dream . . .
