I have to say I was expecting the gap to be smaller on this forum, but in general I find that there are more females on message boards. I don't know why that is, but that's what I've found.

Oh, and I'm a girl, btw. ;)
 
I'm a shemale :) I expected there to be a few more females here, but I like LibertyBell did expect the gap to be a wee bit smaller! I think guys aren't into message boards...they much prefer um...video games or um....more adult things hehe :evil:

I don't post over there, but I think I realised what the prank was... made me laugh :lol:

I guess the reason why here is no more of guys, because they don't really go to this "omfg! she's so friggin' great and cute and omfg I so want to see her pairing with him!"

Ok since I don't know what the usual Forum descriptions are I'm lost :eek:

The one thing I did notice was TBonz's birthday is listed today BUT if you look on her profile for talk.csi her birthday is listed in August. I wonder what the true date is. I wonder has she even voted in the gender poll.

That has me wondering if my hubby has voted here. He does have a membership but I don't think he's ever posted.
 
Well, Bonz did all of the forum descriptions. I was actually referring to the avatar that some moderators were encouraged to wear by Alidar Jarok. It references an avatar TBonz has been known to wear, only with a slight modification.

Oh so that's the avatar. Lol, I saw a few mods using that but didn't know that was the joke. :lol: woops. Totally missed the mark there.

Anyways, the gender ratio on this board really is weird (not to mention highly unbalanced). I always knew that the female ratio would be larger, but I had no idea it was that big a difference. Heh...I guess it's good to know anyhow. :p

Since I never actually did answer the question and just commented on the vast imbalance reflected in the poll, I now deign to answer. I am (drum roll please) female.

That means I have two X chromosomes and no Y, have a lot more estrogen than testosterone, a greater chance of developing breast cancer than a male, and if I were in the military I could make a cadet repeat "ma'am, you're a ma'am not a sir, ma'am" if he accidentally called me sir.

I also believe that, at 21 years, 11 months and 14 days, I am one of the older members of this board. :eek:

Well the age poll up in Gen CSI suggests that there are more people aged 21 and over than there are younger members on this board. Not that such a poll can claim to be particularly representative, maybe we should ask Antony to do some analysis of birth dates from the registration/profile data. :lol: Likewise this poll doesn't necessarily reflect the gender balance on the board, my husband is a member here, and obviously male, yet he refuses to vote. :rolleyes:
