Jorja Fox plays bass, drums and some guitar I think. She enjoys surfing.

 

And Gary D plays piano...he showed it off on one ep, though I forget which one it is. Marg is apparently also a bit of a thrill-lover, I think the guidebook said she liked the RIBSC racing scene. Which she adlibbed the end of btw.

I just found this out myself because someone mentioned it in another forum, but Scott Wilson (who played Sam Braun) was the one who came up with the nickname "Mugs" for Marg's character Catherine.

 

Yeah, that was in the dvd commentary for Burked. I believe it was Carol who said that Sam calling her "Mugs" was a Scott Wilson ad-lib because he said immediately that those two would have a history together.

In July 2004, co-stars George Eads and Jorja Fox were fired (by direct order of CBS head Leslie Moonves) for breach of contract. CBS said that they were using delay tactics (refusing to show up for shooting) to force a pay raise at the beginning of the 5th season. They were soon rehired, but without a raise. They both denied that there was any contract dispute. (George Eads says he just overslept on the first day of production; Jorja Fox claims she didn't know about the letter of intent she reportedly failed to sign.)

David Berman, who plays assistant coroner David Phillips, is also a head researcher for the show.

A scene featuring Willows and Stokes making out was filmed for the first season, but was not aired.

yes i heard that too. i think they are actually kissing and this scene is included in the specials of the 1st season dvd box
