Just a quick request on tonights episode, if some of you fans find certain scenes revolting or repugnant, please keep the insulting, derogatory rhetoric to a minimum, and focus on the parts you like, & move on, it's frustrating and insulting to the fans who might find these certain scenes wonderful & fulfilling, and have to defend their views, or theories and, is offensive & intolerant of others who contunue to go down this path, & accomplishes nothing! in other words, show class..manners and respect to all fans! thank you

While this could have been said in a MUCH nicer way I have to say in principal I agree with you. But you should look at the other side too. The GSR fans should try and remember that this is a discussion board about the ENTIRE episode and not just one or two GSR scenes, no matter how important they are to you. No one is saying you can’t talk about it just keep it all in prospective. So please everyone try and keep it on topic and discuss the whole episode, because to be quite honest many fans find the going on and on about GSR only to be offensive & intolerant of the others who enjoy the whole show and not just GSR! So while I understand you asking others to think about how their post may come across to you, but you should think about how your post will come across to others too.

Great episode. For me it was the best one so far this season. Awesome cases and we actually saw everyone. I really felt like it was back to the old CSI, which was great. It was nice to actually see Hodges doing stuff, he hasn't really had that many parts so far this season. Overall great episode, 9 out of 10.

I didn't see any previews for the next episode.

Next week is a repeat. :( "Ending Happy", I think. Which they showed twice already, didn't they? I wish they would repeat one that only got one airing last season.

Great episode. 8 seasons in and they're still putting out old school episodes.

How about the scene with Henry and Grissom?!? Seems Hodges isn't the only comedy in the lab. I bet they're making Henry more like Greg used to be.

Re: "The Case of the Cross-Dressing Carp" Discussion *SPOILE

I like Ronnie more this time too...she's like an annoying little sister, cute in small doses. I was thinking about the Greg thing too, but I don't feel like thinking about it till the time comes if it comes.

I'm still smiling from the old Vegas part of the ep (and almost all of the rest of it too) I hope that there will be more of Old Vegas this season. Greg is so alive in those eps. I like that, as well as the history part of it, it gives a kick to the show...I may not be making sense...time for bed

Re: "The Case of the Cross-Dressing Carp" Discussion *SPOILE

They had a preview of the Crossover ep with WAT early on during the show. It looked really good.

Yeah I like the old Vegas history stuff too. And Greg getting so into it makes it more fun to watch as a viewer...getting excited about it with him.

OK, in the bee scene, Grissom says they won't sting unless you — what?
He proposed, and Sara got stung. That bee sensed something.
I don't think it'll be a smooth path to the altar.

Re: "The Case of the Cross-Dressing Carp" Discussion *SPOILE

Thanks to our East Coast and North American friends, for the tantalizing synopsis's of "Carp"-I so look forward to seeing the different "moments" you describe!
As to the preception of "censorship" from the "Sarahaters" and the "GSR" fans...it's just asking that each poster show respect for each other's opinions. And that respect entails decent spelling and not reverting to childish insults or swearing. Unlike the Monty Python skit, we don't want abuse or an arguement, we want a reasonable discussion.....
End of lecture....:) And thanks to Pabzi-for the preview of the "Old Vegas" part-any time they feature what the town used to be like is a treat!

Re: "The Case of the Cross-Dressing Carp" Discussion *SPOILE

I liked the ep a lot. Catherine's mom, Lilly, is too cute! She and her daughter are a lot a like. Cath seems to have learned when she told the officer that her dad built the casino she turned the casr over to swing. I'm proud of her for doing that.

As for the cases the finding of the body under the casino was really interesting. Ronnie seems to have calmed down quite a bit, perhaps she and Sara had some words. I also liked how Greg jumped in and was back to his happy go lucky self. The coveralls made me giggle a bit.He was getting too moody at points previous. He was totally cute when he was talking to Lilly about the pictures. And the hat he put on when he asked her out to dinner was amazing! I hope we see more about the book in future eps.

As for the carp case that was well out together in the fact that Nick and Warrick were left questioning and speculationg until the very end. Cath did a good job of stepping up to help with the fish. Her telling Gris she knows how to turn him on was a good laughing point, it was cute. The pollution factor was quite the turning point, since that could actually happen in real life. Share the research guy died because of jumping conclusions, he was on the verge of the biggest discovery to hit Vegas since the bones of the guy under the casino.

Awesome to see Hodges again, and that he's still following Gris around. Hodges in the lab with the carp in one hand and the water in the lab was so funny! His facial expressions are really good.

And now to the other part of the show. Grissom, Sara, and the bees it will be interesting to see how the bees fit into the overall season. The proposel was a typical Gris thing, just off handed and out of the blue. Interesting that Sara said yes when the actress is leaving...wonder how that is going to play out.

All in all it was a good ep I'll give it an 8 out of 10. :)

Re: "The Case of the Cross-Dressing Carp" Discussion *SPOILE

wow, this was an outstanding episode. i found the cases to be extremely intriguing, which does not happen very often.

the GSR? perfect! i'm dying right now, and rewatching that scene over and over. I LOVED IT, they were both so incredibly cute, it's not even funny. wow. it was hilarous when they forgot they've got the beekeeper gear so they couldn't kiss. they are adorable together, yo. i've melted.

Re: "The Case of the Cross-Dressing Carp" Discussion *SPOILE

Um. Can someone please explain what happened in the last 5 to 8 minutes. The weather here is crappy (tornadoes touching down in surrounding counties) and the weather channel beeped in. It isn't re-airing those minutes since it's so small. How dare they!

Re: "The Case of the Cross-Dressing Carp" Discussion *SPOILE

I really liked this episode.

I thought the first case was fasinating. I had an idea of what was going on pretty early in the episode, but I like how all of the details played out and what all of the characters did. And I am curious to know what Catherine may do about the water problem.

I about had a heart attack when Catherine called to hand off the case. I was thrilled for her. Turning over the case, not getting involved and such. I thought it was a huge step for her character from previous years. I have always liked her, but this makes me respect her character a lot more.

I loved Greg and his endless knowledge of all things Vegas history. I was like good lord, this guy could write a book. And then hey this guy is writing a book. It like that he was going to take Catherine's mom out to dinner to learn about the history of Vegas. I liked how excited he was about helping out and contributing all of his knowledge. It reminded me of early seasons Greg. I think Sara and Ronnie might have been taken a lot longer to figure anything out without him and his lists of potential victims.

And I like Ronnie, she reminds me of my little sister. Always really excited to impart all of her knowledge onto me, even when she knows it's something I probably alreay know.

It made me laugh when Hodges said something about his mom always finding ways to prevent him from going home for Thanksgiving. And I liked how he calls Grissom partner, and their interaction as a whole. I have a real problem with touching fish, so I thought it was kind of funny when Grissom just handed him the huge, dead, gross carp.

GSR. Well not knowing how it's going to end up I'm trying to be indifferent. Both of my roommates had aww that was too cute moments after she said yes They laughed at the almost kiss, I was torn between should I laugh or should I think that was borderline cheesy. Just because I like to think they would have thought hey, maybe we should take these masks off. I still haven't decided what I think about it. And I was way glad the episode was focused on the cases and not them, since the promo was the exact opposite.

I liked how every character was in the episode for a decent amount of time. I love all of them, so I'm quite glad we got to see all of them getting equal amounts of screentime.

Re: "The Case of the Cross-Dressing Carp" Discussion *SPOILE

I was pleased with this week's epi. I thought it was better than the others from this season so far.

I'm not a shipper so I can take or leave GSR, but I found the scene completely flat. If they were going to do it I think they could have done a much better job. And Sara is supposed to be anti-marriage, but she agreed a bit quickly.

I thought the scene with greg and Cath's mom was very sweet, and went well with Greg's fascination of Old Vegas.

I'm still not caring too much for Ronnie I can't really put my finger on why.

I liked the scene with Grissom and Hodges. Hodges is a pain, but I like what his character adds to the chemistry of the overall group.

I also liked the scene with Grissom, Cath, and the carp. It reminded me of old times.

Re: "The Case of the Cross-Dressing Carp" Discussion *SPOILE

Charity: I'm anti-marriage, but if the guy I had been in love with for 9 years asked me to marry him, I would probably say yes. As for the "flat" thing, stories from my parents indicate that their proposal was very much the same. Even romantic men can be off-hand. =P
