“Nicky,” Sara shouted from the, still unlocked, bathroom, “where are the dry towels?”

Nick laughed as he put the pancakes down on the table and headed down the hallway to the bathroom, “You want me to come in and find it for you?”

“Of course you’d enjoy that, ay Nicky,” Sara said while draining the extra water from her hair.

“More then you can image,” Nick said, slowly putting his hand on the doorknob but quickly taking it away before he actually gave into the temptation, “They’re, ugh, they’re in cuber under the sink.”

“K, thanks.”

“No problem, Sunshine,” Nick replied and headed back to the kitchen.

Sunshine. She loved it when he called her that. The way his Texas accent made the nickname sound like a song. It made her smile every time.

She bent down and opened the cuber. Grabbing a towel, she noticed tons of bottles of lotions and soap under the skin. Grabbing one that interest her, she read the label, “Ultra Rubbing Oil; to satisfy you and your partner’s needs. Enhances your sexual enjoyment. Oh...” Sara smiled and put in on the counter, “I’ll save this for later.”

xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

“Good shower?” Nick asked, pulling a chair out for Sara to sit in. He could smell the fruity scent of her brown, wet hair and the feel of her soft skin as she brisked past him.

“Amazing,” Sara said, sitting down in the pulled out chair, “I was waiting for you...”

“Oh really,” Nick replied as he moved around the table to his chair, “in the shower...”

“Naked.”

“Oh!” Nick answered, his voice going a little higher then intended. Just imaging Sara Sidle naked was a lot to take in, but actually physically seeing her naked would be completely different, “Well, I guess next time we should take a shower together.” Allowing a smile cross his face, Nick took a sip of his orange juice.

“Yeah,” Sara said, taking a bit of her maple-covered pancake, “and maybe we could use some of your lotions. Ultra Rubbing Oil...”

Nick practically choked on his orange juice as he laughed, almost allowing it to break through his lips. Swallowing it, pink started to infuse his cheeks and an embarrassed smile started to appear on his face, “You were snooping.”
“I was getting a towel and couldn’t help but notice all your little products,” Sara answered, taking a sip of her apple juice, “you chick.”

Nick let out a laugh, allowing the pancake in his mouth to be visible, “Hey,” Nick said, swallowing the pancake, “that stuff really does make sex more exciting.”

“Really?” Sara said, thoughts starting to occupy her mind as she stared at Nick, “I’ve never tried them.”

“Then you’ve never had good sex,” Nick replied, taking an other sip of his orange juice, a huge smile forming on his face, “Don’t worry, I’ll help you.”

Sara smiled. She found it kinda weird that she was talking to Nick about sex. She’s talked to Grissom about it before but it was usually case related. Realizing that Nick just said he wants to help her have the best sex of her life, her heart started to beat really fast. She could tell that Nick noticed he’s remark had an affect on her because she started to wiggle his eye brows at her. Of course, that task won’t be really hard to top; Grissom wasn’t really good.

“Can’t wait,” Sara answered, wiggling her eyebrows back at Nick.

xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

“No,” Sara yelled into the phone, “I’m not coming home!”

What nerve Grissom had; phoning her at Nick’s house. It was like she was his daughter, and he was phoning to check up on her. Why did she ever fall for him? Why did she try so hard to impress him when the perfect man was right under her noes. If only she found about her feelings for Nick sooner. Things would be completely different.

“Grissom, stop phoning! I’m staying here. No, not fore... you’re not my fucking father!” slamming the phone down, a tear escaped her eye. How could something change from being so good, to being so bad? Why can’t she just find someone that really loves her. Hank, now Grissom? Who’s next... Nick? She prayed Nick wouldn’t be the next person to hurt her. Even though she knows Nick would never do anything to hurt her, she still had some doubts. She thought Grissom would never break her heart, but here she is, crying her eyes out and thinking how stupid she had been for falling for Mr. Gil Grissom.

At that moment, Nick walked in the front door, grocery bags in hand. Knowing how little he had in his fridge, he decided to quickly go out and buy some more food. He promised Sara he’d make her a special meal tonight; anything she wanted. Of course, Sara being a vegetarian, meat was off the menu.

Nick smiled at Sara but quickly realized the tore up expression on her face.

“Sara,” Nick said, placing the bags down and heading toward Sara, “what’s wrong?”

Sara shook her head. She didn’t want to get back into that topic. Even though she did remember telling Nick she’d tell him, she still couldn’t bring herself to say that she was dating and sleeping with their supervisor for over a year.

“Sara... don’t push out,” Nick replied, worried expression taking over his face as he pulled her into his loving hug.

“Nick, I can’t tell you.”

“Sara,” Nick answered, making Sara look into his eyes, “I’m a good listener.”

Looking into Nick’s brown eyes started to comfort her. She could see all the love and concern behind the hard, brave eyes. She took a down breath, getting ready for Nick’s loving, caring eyes to change to disgust and anger at what she was going to tell him.

“Sar, just come out and say it. It can’t be that ba...”

“I slept with Grissom,” terror flashed across her face as she felt Nick loosen his grip.

“You slept with...” Nick couldn’t bring himself to utter the name. Taking a deep breath, he brought his hands up to his eyes.

Sara lowered her head in shame. She felt her head get light as her breathing started to get heavy. She felt her heart shatter as she lowered head into her hands, “We’ve been dating for around a year,” Sara squeezed before rethinking it.

“What?!” Nick exclaimed, letting his tone get out of control, “You dated?!”

“Nick,” Sara couldn’t continue as she looked up at Nick, who’s face was covered in tears. His eyes became puffy, cheeks red and streams of tears rushed down his pale face, “Nick, please don’t...” Sara burst into tears as she realized just how this was affecting him.

“Don’t what?” Nick answered, voice flaming.

“Don’t,” more tears slipped from the barriers of her eyes, “don’t cry. I can’t handle seeing you cry.”

“Why?” Nick stood up, moving to the other side of his livingroom, looking straight at Sara, “How would you feel if the person you love and have always loved slept and dated your supervisor without telling you? I beat you’d cry your fucking eyes out,” Nick wiped the tears from his face, “and after I thought you...” he shook his head trying to forget the once happy thought that used to occupy it.

“Nick, you don’t think I know how it feels to have your heart broken?” Sara pierced her eyes at him, trying to find any sympathy behind those brown, puffy eyes.

Nick just shook his head, moving his gaze away from Sara and started toward the kitchen.

“Nick,” Sara yelled, running after him and grabbing his attention, “don’t walk away from me!” she forced herself to hold back the tears, “you said you were a good listener, so listen.”

Nick stood there, staring at the once addicting Sara Sidle. How did he fall for it? How didn’t he know there was a catch to his fantasy? Of course Sara would of been with someone else... look at her. But, Grissom... Gil Grissom? He couldn’t look at Sara; something he didn’t think was possible. Taking a deep breath, he lowered himself into the couch. Sara walked over and sat on the other side of the couch, making sure not to get to close to Nick at this point.

“Look Nick,” Sara said, almost a whisper, “I know you don’t really want to talk to me right now, fine. But I just want you to know that I know how it feels to have your heart broken. To have your heart stomped on, the think that no one is there for you, to not feel loved. I know how it feels to cry yourself to sleep at night, thinking how you’re going to get through the day tomorrow.” More tears slipped down her face. Talking about being weak wasn’t really something she likes to talk about, but Nick needs to know, he deserves to know, “If you don’t remember, I had a boyfriend. Hank?”

Nick’s face became soft, remembering how much Sara cried and remembering how much Hank hurt her. They only thing Nick wanted to do at that point was to hurt every guy that made Sara a little sad; not feel wanted.

Sara noticed Nick’s changed expression, hoping that she was actually getting through to him, “He hurt me Nick, he really did. I didn’t think I could feel so weak. After Hank... broke up with me, I just really wanted to feel loved. I thought Grissom was the answer. I thought that he’d love me, I thought that I could love him and start a life with him, I thought he was the one.”

Nick looked up and stared at Sara. Grissom, Sara’s soul mate? He always knew they had a thing for each other, but he finally thought that Sara moved on and, hopefully, would soon see the true man for her, him. For over six years, Sara’s the only woman that Nick loved. Yeah, he had some little relationships, but Sara was the only one he truly loved. He tried to find someone else, hoping that his little obsession with Sara was just an ordinary crush, but the only thing he proved to himself was that Sara is the only woman for him.

“But,” Sara continued, grabbing Nick’s attention again, “I was proven wrong; really wrong.”

Nick shifted on the couch, now facing Sara. What does she mean by really wrong? If Grissom...

“Do you know why I came over here?” Sara asked, hoping Nick would give her a sentence answer.

“Because you... needed me?” Nick answered, hoping the answer didn’t sound to stupid.

“Yeah,” Sara said, taking another deep breath, “he broke my heart, Nick.”

All angry emotions that Nick held against Sara vanished and turned to Grissom, “He hurt you.” A tear formed in Nick eye as he noticed Sara’s torn up expression.

“You know Lady Heather?” Sara asked Nick, hoping he’d at least heard of her.

“Oh,” Nick replied, knowing where it is going, “he talked to me about her.”

“Yeah,” Sara answered under her breath, “well, he stayed with her the night.”

“He what?!” Nick yelled, standing up now, “that bastard! If I was him, I wouldn’t want to spend one second away from you; let alone a night.”

“Nick,” Sara said, a smile upon her face.
“No, Sar,” Nick said, grabbing his car keys.

“Nick” Sara said in worry, “where are you going?”

“To Grissom’s,” Nick said, turning around and staring into Sara’s terror-filled eyes.

“Why?” Sara asked.

“I don’t think anyone knows this, Sara, but I know Kung Fu. Ever since Hank hurt you like that, I wanted to be strong enough so i could hurt every guys twice as much as they hurt you.” Nick confessed to Sara, “Don’t wait up.”

Letting a sign, Sara didn’t know if she should stop Nick, or go along for the enjoyment of it all. Without getting a moment to actually think about the situation, Nick’s SUV pulled out of the driveway and headed toward Grissom’s house.

the last part is so funnie but i rather not see nick fight grissom though and hope sara run after him....
but love how sara is honest of her feelings.

“Come on... PICK UP!” Sara yelled into the dead phone line. Why was Nick so protective? She knew Nick always protected her and took care of her, but she wasn’t worth putting his career on the line.

Dialling his cell phone again –numbers now memorized–, Sara swear to herself that if she was too late, she’d go down with him.

Her heart practically stopped as she heard Nick’s charming Texas voice pierce through the –now annoying– ringing.

“Nicky!” Sara exclaimed in relief.

“Sar?” Nick asked, turning a corner.

“Nicky, please don’t do this,” Sara said, her voice a bit louder then intended.

“Sar...” Nick started but was cut off.

“No, Nick, please don’t do this. I’m fine; I’m over it. I don’t need him.” Sara said honestly, brushing her fingers through her hair.

“Sara..” Nick tried again, but this time cutting himself off, letting Sara continue what she needed to say.

“Nicky, please. I don’t want Grissom. I want you,” Sara stopped for a moment so Nick could comprehend exactly what she was saying before continuing, “If you go over to his house and do God-knows-what to him, your job’s gonna be on the line. I highly doubt Grissom will let you back on the field if you beat the crap out of him.”

This time Nick didn’t hesitate as be broke into the conversation, “I don’t care! That’s a risk I’m willing to take!”

“But that’s not a risk I’m willing to take,” Sara shouted at Nick through the phone. Almost breaking into tears, she continued, “Nick, I can’t risk losing you. I need you with me. Please Nick, if you really care about me, you won’t go to his house. Please!”

Nick fell to silence. Bringing the phone away from his ear, he wiped the single tear away with his upper arm. He could tell Sara was being completely honest. The only thing he wanted to do at this point was to hold Sara’s warm, fragile body tightly in his arms and feel her satisfying hands wrap about his tired body.

“Nick?” Sara asked, getting worried Nick already hung up.

“Yeah, Sar,” Nick replied, bringing the phone back to his ear, “I won’t go; I promise. I wouldn’t be able to spend a day away from you. I love you too much.”
Sara broke into a wide smile. At that moment no one else in the world mattered more to her then Mr. Nick Stokes, “I love you too, Nicky. More then I let myself admit.”

Nick let out a snicker. He finally did it. All those night of sitting lonely and empty on his bed, thinking of her. All those secret glances and stares, hoping she didn’t notice the hunger in his eyes. All the hot flirting and electric touching. All the emergency runs to the mens room, hoping no CSIs notice the little piece of evidence of his feelings toward her. He finally managed to get her. The lovely, smart, compassionate, helpful, strong Miss Sara Sidle. She loved him. Hearing those three words come from her lips was like taking a refreshing drink of water after a six year drought, “I guess right now would be a good time to kiss?” Nick asked in sarcasm.

Sara laughed, just imagining making out with Nick over to phone, “Yeah. It’d be kinda difficult right now.”

“Don’t worry, I’ll make up for it when I get back.” Nick said, turning another corner.

“Looking forward to it,” Sara said, knowing just how amazing Nick’s kisses really were.

Nick could already taste Sara’s luscious lips glide across his. He could already feel the electric shock of when their tongues collided. He couldn’t wait to get back a feel Sara all over him, but he knew he had to first let off some steam before he went back and enjoyed Sara to the fullest, “Sara?” Nick asked.

“Yeah?”

“Do you think... it’ll be alright if I go let off some steam first? I’m a little up tight about this whole Grissom-thing.” Nick asked, hoping Sara wouldn’t mind postponing their hot kiss for about an hour or longer.

Sara smiled, “Of course. Take all the time you need.”

“Ok, thanks Sunshine.” Nick said, showing off his charming Texan accent.

“No problem Poncho. Love you.” Sara answered, hoping Nick actually felt how much she did love him.

“Love you too.” Nick replied, hanging up the phone and turning another left.

**

Nick slowed down and looked out at the grey haired, fiftyish year old man. Grissom bent down and picked up then daily newspaper, coffee cup in hand. Nick had to use ever ounce of power in himself to not go out and kick his ass, which was in plain view from the position he was in. That lucky bastard Nick thought How in the world did he manage to get Sara, and then ruin it? He should be thankful Sara phoned him in before it was to late, or else he’d be on his driveway crying for mercy.

Nick moved his focus back on the road and continued down to the nearest bar, hoping to let off some much wasted steam.

yeah!! got it before i left. i didn't have time to check for mistakes so, i'm sorry if there are some. well.. hope you guys enjoy and i'll see you in about 3 weeks!!!! KEEP THE SNICKERS LOVE GOING!!

----------------------

Sara brought the phone away from her ear. She let out a long awaiting sign as a smile lingered at her lips. She found herself going through different wedding dress designs, possible names for their four kids, and her future name –Mrs. Sara Stokes– going through her mind.

Placing the phone on the counter, Sara slowly made her way to the livingroom. She stood there and looked around the empty house. All the family pictures on the wall, the birthday cards on the shelves, all the flowers from friends. Sara couldn’t even remember getting something from someone else. The last gift she’d gotten was an Entomology Text book from Grissom for Christmas. But that gift wasn’t one she really wanted to remember getting. Hopefully her near future will bring happier and greater gifts then she could ever imagine.

Sara suddenly noticed the grocery bag on the floor. Letting out a light chuckle, she remembered just how worried Nick looked when he walked in the door and saw her in that sad state. He didn’t even think as he placed the bag to the floor and raced toward her. A small smile escaped her lips as she remembered just how good it felt for Nick to take her in his arms. The feel of his minty, warm breath on her cold, bare skin. She could remember the feel of every muscle, and feeling of when his warm hands touched her and immediately warmed her up.

Deciding she should she save her daydreaming to when Nick actually came home, and her daydreams could become reality, she moved toward the bag. Picking it up, she moved back to the kitchen and placed it on the counter. She reached in to find out exactly what Nick Stokes had bought.

Pulling out the first item, her eyes widened. Grocery shopping? Didn’t think food stores had these objects. She pulled out two new sex lotions, a bottle of wine, a box of chocolates and some scented candles.

Sara’s mouth dropped in surprise, “Nicky, you whore!” Sara said between humourous bursts of laughter. You don’t need to be a CSI to know what Nick’s intentions of the night were.

Sara looked back into the bag, hoping that there were more “groceries” inside. Seeing something at the bottom, she pulled it out, revealing a white envelope with Sara written on the front. Hoping Nick wouldn’t mind, Sara opened it.

Inside the envelope, Sara found a card and decided to read it.

You are my inspiration;
You are my best friend;
You are my way of living;
You are my angel;

Dear Sara,

I love you, you know I do. And I hope that sooner or later you’ll find out your true feelings for me. I know we belong together. You’re on my mind all day, all night. You’re the reason why I didn’t give up on myself when I was in that coffin. I didn’t want to die without telling you how much I love you and how much of an impact you have had on my life. I want to thank you for always being there for me and for never giving up on me. You’re everything I need. I love you, Sunshine.
Love, Poncho.

Tears of joy filled Sara’s eyes. Nick could be a whore sometimes but his gentleman side defiantly made up for that. She couldn’t wipe the smile off her face. She was defiantly go show Nick just how much she loves him and wants him.

She picked up all Nick’s stuff and brought it to his bed room. Placing on his bed, she found herself staring at herself in the mirror. She was wearing Nick’s boxers and baggy t-shirt, her hair was tangled, she had little to no make up on, and Nick still thought she looked gorgeous. She must be the luckiest girl in the world. And now, she was determined to make Nick feel like he was the luckiest guy in the world.

xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

Nick fially pulled his SUV into the driveway. Feeling a lot better after a couple of drinks, the only thing he wanted to do now was to finally get that hot kiss from Sara.

Sliding his key into the keyhole, he opened the door to a dark house. Wondering if Sara already went to bed without first giving him their long awaited make up kiss, he fumbled around for the light switch. Finally finding it, he turned it on to reveal a half naked Sara, lounging on the couch.

Sara only wore Nick’s Spider Man boxers and her almost black lace bra. On the coffee table lay about ten of Nick’s lotions bottles –almost half of his total collection– Nick noticed the look of lust in Sara’s hungry eyes. A wide smile spread across his face as he realized that he wasn’t going to just get a make up kiss; he was going to get the whole package.

“Someone pinch me,” Nick said from his open mouth.

“If that’s what you wan...” Sara replied with a husky voice. She slowly stood up, showing off to Nick her very slim body.

Nick’s heart raced. She was so beautiful; so smart; so perfect. He couldn’t even think of a flirty comeback. The sight of Sara in his boxers and his favourite type of fabric would make even your regular chatterbox go speechless.

Nick moved slowly toward Sara, admiring every curve of her gorgeous body. He mentally slap himself for not closing his mouth and starting to drool.

“Sar,” Nick said as he grabbed her hand and tangled their fingers together, “I respect you and love you I didn’t think I could ever be happy again after my abduction, but you’ve completed me. You make me feel good. You inspire me and make me want to be a better person. I just...”
“Nick” Sara cut him off, “shut up and let me kiss you.”

Nick let out a small smile as he felt Sara press against him and crash her lips on his.

The kiss was electrifying. Better then they could even remember. They tender and loving kiss started to turn into lustful and needy. Sara moved her hands inside Nick’s shirt and slowly glided her fingers over his chest, remembering the feel of every muscle. She moved their lips fast and was the first to try and make their tongues collide. Nick’s lips had a mind of their own as he felt Sara’s tongue bang on his lips, asking for entry. He opened his mouth and aloud their tongue to rub together.

Needing air, they broke apart and looked at each other, wondering if that type of passion actually can from each other’s lips.

As Nick moved in for another mind blowing kiss, Sara interrupted the attempt.

“I hope you remembered your promise.”

“Huh?” Nick asked, pulling his head back so he could look straight at Sara.

“You said you’ll help me have the best sex of my life. Well, with the help of your lotions.” She motioned her head toward the bottles on the coffee table.

“Oh yeah,” Nick said, kissing Sara on the cheek, “Well, then... I guess I shouldn’t keep you waiting. You’ve been waiting your entire life.”

“I can’t wait... I need you now.” Sara whispered in his ear.

“Well, I’d hate to keep you waiting.” Nick said, picking her up and bringing her toward his bedroom.
