Thanks. Normally I would at least try and take a fresh one, but I am going on holiday tomorrow night so I don't have time. I do have some ideas for which picture to send though. *thinks calm and tranquil thoughts*. :)

haha I had to look up tranquility in my dictionairy first :p But luckily it was in there :lol: Let's see what I can come up with!

lol, I was going to ask the same thing. Normally, I'd take a new one, but I think I've got some that would be great for this theme... only problem is chosing which one :p

ETA: I know this may seem like a silly question, but I have an idea for a photo, but it involves both of my hands, meaning I couldn't take the pictures. If I set it all up, put the camara on the tripod etc could I get Mum to literally click the button? Would that be against the rules?

Me too! I have some snaps taken a couple of years ago that suit this theme and as the weather here is far from tranquil here in Bolton, England (it's currently very windy, I think I'l choose one of them. I suppose I could search for tranquility in my house but my cats are restless... they blame me for the weather!

Anyway, first to eat my tea. Then choosing and PMing.

Oh - I actually do have a question. I understand that no manipulation of the photos is allowed but is it OK to resize them usind Windows Picture Manager (for example)? The photos I'm looking at are currently in 1600x1200 resolution.

Also, can I ask that if you're participating in this, please don't mention anything about the subject of your entry in this thread. Otherwise people can easily tell which is yours when it's voting time, and this competition is supposed to be anonymous.
