Some of you will be very familiar with LIMS by now, but for some of you, this may be new. So what is LIMS? It stands for Last Icon Maker Standing.
This time around, we'll be having an overall theme the the first (Vanessa Ferlito) and second (Men of CSI) LIMS did. It will include all three shows, but I'm not telling what it is until the first round
Here's how it works:
~ If you want to participate, you must sign up. You may do so by leaving a comment. I will add your name to the participants list. If I miss your name, please let me know.
~ You must submit an icon for each round. Each round will have provided caps that you must choose from. They will be from all three CSI shows.
~ Each participant will be allowed One Free Pass. If you are unable to submit an icon (ie: if real life gets in the way), send me a PM, and you will be excused from the round. However, you must let me know, and you may only do so once.
~ In each round, the icon makers with the most amount of votes will be eliminated.
~ In every round, one icon will receive a Mod's Choice banner.
~ In every round, in addition to voting for three of least quality, everyone will be asked to vote for their favorite icon as well, and the winning icon will receive a Voter's Choice banner.
~ Anyone and everyone may vote in the LIMS, whether they are participating or not. You don't have to be an 'expert', either
~ More specific details will be posted with each round The first round will be posted when we have enough people signed up. You may, however, still sign up until the first due date.
~ I'm going to raise the bar a bit here, by saying that I'd like to try getting around 30 people participating
~ A note for 'beginners': LIMS is a great way to learn new things and improve your skills. In my first LIMS, I was voted out in the first round... but I still had fun and learned a ton!
