*coughs* I'm trying right now to make a decent looking icon and now my brain doesn't wanna work alright: is text allowed? I mean, it's not really a texture or layer but s/th you add to the picture...er, yeah, sorry for another blond moment *hides*

-Text is fine. If your program adds text as a separate layer, that's okay. You just can't make any changes of any type to that layer.

Ok, so, this is my first time voting in this challenge, let's see if I do everything correct

Least Quality:
12- I can't see anything diferent from the original pic, unless cropping
03- The colouring is a bit strange
09- Too dark, altough I like the icon, but it's a litle dark for me.

Best Quality:
04- Love all in this icon, coloring, cropping... Awesome!
11- Great coloring!

This is so hard...
