Supernatural #4: STILL No Chick Flick Moments

Well, the spoiler on 'my bloody valentine' was epic. I couldn't stop laughing. But 'Soul man'? I didn't find it funny at all, but that's just me. Somehow, I think I have lost some interest in the show. Haven't even looked forward to the up-coming episodes (talking about the ones after the long break). And I thought epi 11 + 12 (the last 2 ones) were awful, as they were not as good as the episodes used to be. Yet, I am actually looking forward to My Bloody Valentine. So I hope I'll enjoy it.
 
The last episode was not awful by any means, I think it was a pivotal episode, in that it answered a lot of questions and Michael finally told why it had to be Sam and Dean. I like the more dramatic episodes a majority of the fans like episodes like that. I'm not completely sure about My Bloody Valentine, though. It looks kind of strange, but knowing Eric Kripke it'll probably be one of the pivotal episodes of the season :)

And hardcore and die hard Supernatural fans would find the "Soul Man" performance funny because earlier seasons of Supernatural, especially Phantom Traveler:

Dean: "I look like one of the Blues Brothers"
Sam: "No, you look more like a seventh grader at his first dance,"

It's because seeing that performance reminded me of that line from that episode, that's the reason I think it's funny :) Anyone else remember that little line :lol:

Oh, I haven't seen the last one. When I said the last 2 ones, I was talking about the last ones I have seen (epi 11 + 12). Which means Swap Meat was the last episode I've seen. Although you have seen one more episode than that. Sorry for any misunderstanding.

And I didn't remember that little line. Maybe should watch re-runs soon :)

Watching the "young jensen" clip made me realize just how much deeper his voice has gotten since then. :lol:

The clip from MBV ep had me rolling on the floor with laughter. Jared and Misha at different time both looked like they were trying so hard not to laugh. :lol:

The Soul Man clip. That was cute. It's funny that you posted that cause just the other day I was thinking about how the brothers often have to dress like that and how it would be funny if they went to karaoke night and performed that song. :lol: Even though according to Erik, Jared can't sing. :lol: I'd like to see Dean, Cas and Sam all singing that song. :lol: Too funny.

Apparently THE CW is deep in contracts negotiations and is finalizing the paperwork for renewing :
Gossip Girl ,90210 ,Smallville ,Supernatural , ANTM and The Vampire Diaries for next season.
Expect official renewal annoucements for the above shows later this month.

Supernatural will go on hiatus after the Febuary 11th episode and won't be back till March 25th. On the bright side as on March 25th they will have no breaks until the season finales on May 13th.
 
Okay :wtf: !!!! Next week will only be the fourth ep since its been back (after a two month hiatus no dout) and it's going on hiatus again for over a month? :scream: I wish I lived in Cali cause I'd go to the CW offices and yell at them. this is utterly ridiculous! :censored: Morons. Or should I quote Bobby and say "idjits". :lol:

Is this the only show that is getting treated this way? Cause if so, Kripke and company might want to chat up another network about airing the show... cause this is just bloody ridiculous.

Yeah, I couldn't believe it either. I think maybe it has something to do with the basketball playoffs in March. What do they call it March Madness? Not that I care, because I don't watch basketball, so maybe that's why they're not going to have some in the beginning of March, but they should have at least had more than 4 episodes :scream:

Yeah, if they've got basketball on that channel its one thing, but if its gonna be on another channel, its stupid to post pone shows. :lol:

hehe... that ad is funny. They need to make something like they did for Buffy that's like the Slayer kit with holy water and stuff. they should make something like that for Supernatural. A plastic or rubber replica of Ruby's knife and the Angel-killing blade and holy water and they could even put a tiny replica of Metallicar in there. :lol:

I'm sure they're not going to air it, because maybe they're afraid that they won't get as many viewers? I for one think us die hard Supernatural fans would much rather watch Supernatural over Basketball :p

This is why I really hate sports. :lol: It always takes my shows off for too long. Sports and politics. :lol:

What really ticked me off during the other hiatus was that they had a marathon of that vampire show, but they've never had a Supernatural marathon. They just in my opinion don't treat the show as well as they should.

Oh have you seen those Castiel clue videos about some game from some sci-fi magazine? He says something about finding a sigil to help him keep Sam and Dean safe.

I wish they'd make a Supernatural video game for the Wii. :lol: And Cas would be in it along with Bobby and then the big bad at the end that you have to fight is Lilith on one level and Lucifer on another or something like that. :lol: And you can choose which brother you play as (and it could be multiplayer so someone else could play at the other brother and maybe a third person could play as Cas) and on one level you can play as Cas and another as Bobby. Kind of like how on the Buffy game you got to play as some of the other characters on other levels. That would be awesome!

Does anyone know where I can find full screencaps from all of the episodes following Abandon All Hope? The site I normally get them from hasn't put any up for the last three episodes.

I wanted to ask if anyone knew if there are a lot of those Supernatural novels that have Cas in them. I know there's one that either just came out or isn't out yet, but I didn't know if there were any others or not.

I don't get my caps off of sites, I normally make them myself. But maybe you should try going to Livejournal :) and check out this community

I was wondering if anyone else automatically thinks of Supernatural when you see movies based on things that they have used in their episodes? :lol: A couple weeks ago I watched a movie called Wishmaster called Wendigo and right now I'm watching a movie called Wishmaster about a demonic Djinn :lol:

I often think about Supernatural and not just with movies. On Bones the other night, they found a dead guy burned and he had horns. When Angela said she'd found out his identity, Cam asked if his last name was Lucifer, which sent me into chuckles thinking about SPN's Lucifer. And then they met this girl who thought she was the reincarnation of Uriel or something and that really had me cracking up for several long minutes. And then next hour, SPN is on and up pops Uriel. :lol: That was a rather fun night. :lol:

Oh and the previews for that movie Legion kind of made me think of SPN. :lol: Except the angel trying to save humanity is Michael, not Castiel. :lol:

Oh and I was watching fan made opening credits for SPN on youtube and it got me thinking... if Supernatural had a theme song (with words) what song do you think would fit? Out of the ones I saw, a remake of the Cranberries' Song "Zombie" fit the best and the version was better than the cranberries' version IMO.

There are a couple youtube videos that really make me laugh when I watch them, of course they give them songs that have nothing to do with Supernatural and for that reason they're hilarious.

This one especially makes me giggle ... :guffaw:. You know I just realized that the font is Really Really familiar to the font used in Full House opening credits :wtf:

But if you ask me, they should use that O Death Song that CW used for some promos, that song is amazing Link
