Huh? I loved his accent. I even thought it was hilarious to see the guy with the hook.. The two guys (errhm, the dude named Damien, I think and his partner) were annoying although I loved the last scenes with them. When they had helped Sam and Dean, and talked to the brothers. But the worst one was Becky. I know that some people here likes her, but I find her freaky and odd. She is really annoying, in my opinion.

I do agree with you on Becky she was annoying and freaked me out a bit. Poor Sammy having a creepy, obessed, crazy fangirl like that. Hey though she liked Chuck by the end so it all worked out. Sam saying he would try to live or something to that effect when she said they weren't working. I did like the scene at the end with Damien and whats his name had at the end with Sam and Dean those scenes were pretty good. How they both tried to do gruff/rough voices was kind of stupid/annoying if it wasn't for that they wouldn't have been so bad.

Hahaha. But Sam probably said that to make her feel better, as he obviously wasn't interested in Becky. She and Chuck are great couple, so it turned out well.

I thought it was kinda creepy that everyone was obsessed with the LARP-thing, and pretending being Sam and Dean. It was not only Damien and the other guy. Even if they went too far when they couldn't talk like they normally do. But Damien was really into this thing, so it was still pretty ok.

The names "Damien" and "Barnes" are actually the names of the SPN recap writer and forum mod at Television Without Pity. Nice real-life shout out, huh?

Of course Becky was annoying, but in that kind of "aw, I have to cut her major slack, I would TOTALLY behave just like that" kind of way. Well, I wouldn't lick my hand and blow it to Sam, but I would probably find myself pawing all over them, unable to stop myself. :D

I've seen LARPing. I used to attend... *shudders* Dungeons & Dragons conventions with my husband (who is now my ex-husband) and there would sometimes be D&D LARPing there. It was... uh... "fascinating", if I may go the Spock route here.

^^^ Actually, I found Becky (or rather the actress playing her) to be way over the top. The fact that she was so completely blind to Sam's total disinterest was completely unbelievable in my opinion. While I found her sort of funny/creepy-endearing in her first episode, I just found the performance ridiculous this time. I think she would have been way creepier as an uber fan had she not been so far detached from reality.

Sorry, I've met some fangirls and they're just never that ridiculous.

She's just a foot or two away from that line... you know, that line you don't cross unless you wanna be the person who attaches GPS devices to the undercarriage of their cars so that you can know where they are at all times, the person who makes little Sam & Dean voodoo dolls and then makes them do all sorts of uncomfortable things, the person who creates "artwork" out of the hair picked out of their garbage, etc.

But she never quite got there, which is why I could stand her, even like her.

The way I think I'd be similar to her is the "Um, Becky, can you, uh... stop touching me?" "NO" part. Though I can't for the life of me understand why Dean isn't what she pictured. She didn't picture the face of the sun?? Sheesh. :D

Yeah, I got the same impression like Babaoreilly here. It was like Becky was completely blind here, and really thought Sam was interested in her. Just because he was interested in her own little errhm fantasy (or reality).

I don't think it's the same thing as Ginnna just described a really creepy obsession. It's two seperate things. Becky was the "good" uber-fan, while the uber-fans that Ginnna describes, they are just creepy and really live in their own little world.

This site has screencaps for seasons 1-5 and are usually pretty good at updating them weekly. :)

About the Becky stuff...it was probably intentional to make her intense, overly dramatic and quite oblivious about Sam's 'true' feelings about her (which, of course were nonexistent ) so I'm not all that bothered by her. I think she pretty much personifies the crazed uberfan minority out on the internet who eat, sleep and breathe the Winchesters and think they're real people.

That said, I really enjoyed the episode. My only complaint: Need more Cas. Nao. :p

Thanks for the link, Geni. That site is perfect cause it lets you download them in zip format. I wanted to make some fanarts. :)

I agree with you about Becky. I was rolling my eyes along with Dean at her, but she still cracked me up.

I gotta say... so far I am really really REALLY liking season 3. I suppose it's because I've got a soft spot for the funny episodes, and Bad Day At Black Rock was SO - FREAKING - BRILLIANT! I now have all the funny bits doing laps around my brain.

Sam: "I lost my shoe." :( *über-poutface* :guffaw:

Dean: "I'm amazing! I'm Batman!"
Sam: "Yeah... you're Batman."

Dean: "See, I happen to able to read people. Ok, you're a thief, fine, but you're not -"
*BANG*
Dean: "Son of a -!"

Bela: "Thanks very much. I'm out one and a half million, and on the bad side of a very powerful, fairly psychotic buyer."
Dean: "Wow... I really don't feel bad about that. Sam?"
Sam: "Nope. Not even a little." *smirk*:lol::lol:

I'm not liking Bela. Mostly, I think it's due to the fact that the accent is atrocious. I know, I know, she was born in the U.S. & moved to the U.K. sometime during her childhood... but there's still something about the accent that seems VERY forced, very over-enunciated. I watch a LOT of Doctor Who, and while DW clearly isn't an exhaustive sampling of all U.K. dialects, I've come to appreciate what a lot of them sound like when authentically spoken... and she just doesn't sound entirely authentic. Also, her demeanor comes across more as "smug douche" rather than "charmingly cheeky".

Oh, we met Ruby too. My friend keeps saying "I like her! She's a demon, but I like her!" *hangs head* I keep having to bite my tongue because I keep thinking "Yeah, you like her NOW... but you're gonna wanna throttle her later."

Anyway, uh... oh yeah, The Kids Are Alright. Really loved Dean's not-son. Awesome little guy. Now I know who y'all are talking about when you mention Ben. I also think the main Changeling girl was entirely decent for a "creepy kid". I had my stomach in knots when the mother tried to drown her not-daughter just to find not-daughter dripping and totally calm back in the kitchen.

The whole "Dean bonds with a demon" episode was also pretty good. They developed a soft spot for each other by the end, d'aaaaw! One question - what was with Bobby allowing Ruby to help him change The Colt into a demon-killing gun? With VERY little persuasion on her part, might I add. So she let him shoot her, big deal. Her knowledge that The Colt wouldn't kill her doesn't make her ally, it makes her suspicious, and it's not like the body she's possessing means anything to her. She's just another well-informed demon who doesn't care about the human it possesses. Seemed OOC for Bobby to trust her, especially since he told Dean in the end "Demons lie, I'm sure Sam's OK".

Unless... he was covering up the fact that he trusted Ruby NOT to lie and is afraid that Dean's demon also wasn't lying. Ruh roh.

^ I'd have to rewatch to episode, but my hard drive is not working with me right now :(

I do have a question too. I couldn't sleep last night, and then I start thinking about the most ridiculous things. And I can't remember for the love of god why Castiel was the one to let Sammy out of his dungeon that Bobby and Dean trapped him in. So er.. why? :p

That's actually a big point of contention that Castiel "Skeptics" over on the official CW SPN message board have with Cas.

The explanation given to Anna when she asked "Why would you let out Sam Winchester?" was simply "Those were my orders."

He looked incredibly conflicted about it. This was still when Cas was feeling more and more doubtful about Heaven's intentions and plans but hadn't quite gotten around to rebelling.

Well, that's one way of looking at it. Castiel "Skeptics" tend to assume that Cas is Dean's Ruby and that everything Cas does is actually part of an insidious plot to ensure that the climactic Lucifer/Michael battle to end the Apocalypse comes to pass.

I can't say that I see Cas in that way. *shrug*

Yeah I don't see Cas doing that either. He's changed quite a bit now he isn't just "following orders" like he was before. At least now he's helping the boys.

Zach and other higher up angels told Cas to let Sam out. Cas believed he was doing what his father wanted him to do. At that time I don't think he realized that some of the higher up angels were doing what THEY wanted and not what God wanted. He was simply following orders... being a good little soldier as Dean would say.
