Re: Supernatural #2 -Saving People, Hunting Things, the Family Busines

* Bad Fan ... Bad Fan * I've got plenty of spoilers for anyone who'd like to read them :( I tried to steer clear from them ... but no luck.

Death Takes a Holiday written by Sera Gamble

* This episode features a town where no one dies[Sera Gamble]
* The boys pose as religious bloggers after a man (Jim) is walking around alive after being shot in the heart by a mugger. He has a gaping mortal wound and the bullet is still stuck in his heart.
* The boys boy interview the ghost of a 12-year-old named Cole who died of an asthma attack recently. He tells them his reaper was chased off by black smoke before he flickers out after saying that “they’re” back.
* Pamela finds the bodies of Sam and Dean in a motel room and tries to whisper something to Sam before being attacked by a demon. She kicks his ass and continues what she started.
* The boys (as ghosts) find Tessa and Jacob (Reapers) trapped by demons; the demons escape after a fight.
* Alastair shoots the boys with rock salt and says he keeps leaving Hell to collect them. He has a scythe from one of the Four Horsemen and taunts they can’t stop the seal from being broken. He says Dean started “this”.
* Sam plays chess with a Reaper and a character we love dies [Kristin from E!online] Since it mentions Pamela, now I'm wondering if it's her ... but I'm hoping Ruby ... she's starting to bug me!
* Dean (in ghost form) brings Tessa (the Reaper) to collect Cole, giving his grieving mom peace.

* Anna returns as an angel on the run

 I like that title
* Dean has gone missing… and he finds himself in an alternate reality where he is a Wall Street tycoon LMAO surrounded by a haunting that is forcing his co-workers to commit suicide. [Buddy TV]
* Dean loves driving a Prius.[Sera Gamble] :guffaw:
* Dean has been wiped of his memories and convinced he’s an office worker named Phil by his boss, Mr. Adler (actually the angel, Zachariah, who got called to duty because of trouble with Anna or Castiel [played by Kurt Fuller]); he was trying to prove that Dean is destined to be a hunter regardless of everything else
* Sam is caught breaking into an office building by a Security Guard who ends up halved by a malfunctioning (via ghost) elevator
* Sam and Dean save a guy from an old man ghost (one Dean has already seen earlier)

* Sam and Dean discover a fictional book series entitled Supernatural about two demon hunting brothers named Sam and Dean Winchester while investigating a possible haunting at a comic book shop–the shop clerk (Dan Dabb) thinks the boys are live action role playing when they visit.
* Sam and Dean post as writers and visit the comic publisher, Sera Siege, and she makes the boys uncomfortable discussing personal information from their lives that appeared in the comics. They are looking for the writer, Carver Edlund (real name=Chuck), and Sera tells them where to find him.
* The boys find Chuck, who is freaked out when it turns out his stories are true. He goes to show them what he’s currently working on.
* Later, Dean is run down by a mini-van and the Impala’s back window is smashed in. He returns to Chuck and wants to know how he gets his information.
* The boys are trapped in town because the bridge is out. They hide out in a diner.
* Lilith and Sam face off, just like in Chuck’s vision. They can’t hurt one another using powers, so they make an agreement: Lilith will stand down in exchange for Sam and Dean’s lives. Sam agrees.

* Adam is a tall, ruggedly handsome 19-year old. He’s a resilient and adaptable former Eagle Scout and honors student who’s alone in the world. He wants to genuinely help in a crisis.
* The boys try to help a young man named Adam who has made an unexpected turn in life…He turns into a brain-eating zombie, a blood-sucking vampire or something equally untoward [Kristin, E!online].
* Kate is Adam’s mother who is seen fleeing from an unseen menace. Later, she pleads pitiably for help-but her distress may disguise hidden motives.
* Adam is Sam and Dean’s little brother. John fathered him while on a demon hunt and dropped in on him occasionally every few years. Sam and Dean had no idea. [TV Guide]
* Adam will only appear in one episode and is not expected to be seen again. [Kristin] well we don't have to worry about that ...

* Lilith returns in child form as Claire McShane, an 11-year-old who loves her family
* Amelia McShane is a mid-30s housewife who is distraught over her husband’s mental state and becomes terrified that he is losing his mind – she is torn between believing his wild stories and trying to keep her family together.

* Sam will get a chance to get inside his soul in episode 21. It’s beyond intense. [Sera Gamble] :borg:

* The Ghostfacers will be back later this season [AJ Buckley Interview]
* There is a traitor amongst Sam and Dean [Ausiello]
* Eric Kripke is directing the season finale
* The final three episodes of the season can be summed up in three words: Dean vs. Sam. Also, the kid who plays Mary Louise Parker’s son, Shane, on Weeds has been cast as a ghost in a spring episode. [Ausiello]
* Let’s just say Sam may need to start going to meetings. The kind of meeting where you step up in front of a room and declare, “Hi. My name is Sam, and I’m a Demon Bloodholic.” [Ausiello]

A little off topic, but I saw the preview for the show Harper's Island, was my eyes playing on me, or was that Katie Cassidy with darker hair, that I think I saw?

Who is Pamela again? What if the "character" we love who dies is the Impala? I don't know why that thought jumped into my head.

* Anna returns as an angel on the run

I don't care if she returns as long as she doesn't "hook up" with Dean again. Ugh.

Kurt Fuller... why does that name sound familiar? "It's a Terrible Life"- obviously a play on "It's a Wonderful Life".

the Monster at the end of this book is my absolute favorite children's book. Wonder if Grover will make an appearance. J/K. Woah, what? Sam agrees to sacrifice his and Dean's life in order to keep Lilith from bringing back "the dark one" (as they call it on Paranormal State lol). :wtf: Sam, what are you thinking? Hasn't poor Dean been through enough Hell? And I mean that quite literally.

Yay! AJ! There's a traitor amongst Sam and Dean? What does this mean? Does this mean that either Sam or Dean is a traitor? Or does it mean there's a traitor betraying both of them? I have to say that I absolutely freaking hate the idea of Sam vs Dean. It pisses me off quite frankly. Siblings fighting each other. How original! Not! Ugh! Very disappointed about this! It's too freakin' predictable. ugh. ugh. freakin' ugh!

Re: Supernatural #2 -Saving People, Hunting Things, the Family Busines

Somethig I just thought of from the first Spoiler I posted

The spoiler for Death Takes a Holiday says: The boys (as ghosts) find Tessa and Jacob (Reapers) trapped by demons; the demons escape after a fight.

Wasn't Tessa the name of the reaper that was after Dean in My Time of Dying?

Re: Supernatural #2 -Saving People, Hunting Things, the Family Busines

Yep, you're right. I just looked it up on imdb. :)
I don't know if it'll be the same actress or not though. Her page still says only one episode.

Re: Supernatural #2 -Saving People, Hunting Things, the Family Busines

Yeah, that could definitely be the same girl. I can't figure out why a demon would want to kill a reaper though. And what's in it for Sam and Dean helping her?

I have a question: Since Dean technically already died and went to hell, does that mean that contract is void or would he still have to go back if he dies again?

Re: Supernatural #2 -Saving People, Hunting Things, the Family Busines

yeah, thats totally the same girl from in my time of dying.
i would assume he wouldn't go back, just because he had already died and gone to hell. seems like a bit of a loop hole if you ask me.

Re: Supernatural #2 -Saving People, Hunting Things, the Family Busines

That's what I was thinking... loophole. wouldn't it be kind of like a double jeopardy type of deal if he had to go back? Unless he made another deal.

Re: Supernatural #2 -Saving People, Hunting Things, the Family Busines

I just found this article. Third paragraph down (not a spoiler). Someone please tell me it's true! *crosses fingers* It looks like a good source, but it's not something I'm familiar with, so who knows

Re: Supernatural #2 -Saving People, Hunting Things, the Family Busines

WHOOO-HOOOO!! *done screaming* That's awesome.

I always thought that because Dean did indeed keep his end of the deal, that even though he came back, his deal has already been sealed and done with (also, because the demon didn't say "oh, and if anyone pulls you out Sam or otherwise, your contract will be void and Sam will die, etc etc).

Re: Supernatural #2 -Saving People, Hunting Things, the Family Busines

I completely agree that Dean's end of the bargain has been fulfilled. However, that doesn't mean he won't go to hell for other reasons. Heaven doesn't seem too happy with him at the moment. 'Course, if he saves the world enough times, they might have to let him in anyway

Re: Supernatural #2 -Saving People, Hunting Things, the Family Busines

Yeah.. but if he goes to hell for something he did, well. That's a different story. For selling his soul though? The Judge and jury will have to say "case closed." ;) *in a weird mood*

Re: Supernatural #2 -Saving People, Hunting Things, the Family Busines

Woo-hoo! But, that one person that posted on there about how the show is blasphemous because it mocks God and angels seriously annoys me! I'm so sick of people making comments like that. The poster after them is right. The bible says God flooded a whole place because it was filled with sinners. There is nothing that blaspheous about the way Supernatural portrays them. Yeesh. Castiel is awesome and has a heart (metaphorically speaking). The other one on the other hand is a big ol' jerk and I can't stand him.

I think if he had sold his soul for a selfish reason like to get a music contract or something dumb like that, then yes I'd say that's basically akin to suicide. But, he did it because it was the only way to save his brother whom he completely believed in and believed could save the world. That's selfless. That's like on Bedazzled, didn't the guy say he'd give up his soul to save that woman's life then that was his loophole out of it, so he didn't have to go to hell?

Re: Supernatural #2 -Saving People, Hunting Things, the Family Busines

Big yay from me about Supernatural getting picked up for another season! Though * I may get hounded for this * for the next season let's hope it goes back to the way it was, with the good old fashioned urban legends. Though I do like this season, don't get me wrong, I miss the urban legend episodes, there's plenty of stuff available that could be made into an episode ;)
