Is the synopsis all we know so far? No other details? They're really hiding the Brass part...or the promo had no time for it.

This is the only other specific part I could find in the spoiler reference thread:

"Chasity" / Heather is a prostitute on the Vegas strip. So far tonight she's made $2300 and apparently managed to steal someone's debit card. Heather also has a surprising connection to someone from Brass's past...

They really are keeping this under wraps.. I mean obviously Ellie is a prostitute as well so a connection to this girl in itself wouldn't necessarily be "surprising" and even if Ellie is also in the business of theft... again, not really that surprising.

I'm really curious to see where they're going with this one.

This was more of a follow the bouncing ball then connect the dots kind of episode.Easy to get lost if you don't pay attention.Lots of little moments especially Brass and Ecklie. Most of the street characters are pretty unsympathetic and their connection to each other unfolds during the hour. The prostitute becomes Brass connection to his daughter and he attempts to do for her what he was unable to do for Ellie.

I can see this leading to another Ellie ep later.

Sara looked funny in disguise. I'm not fond of the cop stuff though...NY ok but not here.

Liked Ecklie and Morgan. I wonder what will happen with him.

????

My heart definitely goes out to Brass on this one. Tugged at a few heart strings.. Good ep but a little over the top in my opinion...real easy to get lost

Oh, ok. I did screw it up LOL. Now it makes more sense though. Nick often does the cop stuff but at least this time it was just him.

I liked this episode because it seemed to have a lot of our original characters for the most part and a little light on the newer ones. These always seem to be the episodes I enjoy more lately. I didn't find it that hard to follow. It made sense. I found "Pick and Roll" harder to follow.

Anyway, some crazy happenings in this episode and characters. I do have to admit I wondered about the College kid getting busted with the drugs but being let go if he wasn't guilty of something, so I guess I was right there.

So I would say this was one of the better episodes this season.

Pretty good last night, I'll give it a B

Brass stuff was good, but not quite what I was hoping for. Hope to finally see Ellie in the flesh some time this season, even his ex wife too. But it was nice to hear about his ex though

Lots of leather jackets last night. Do they all go shopping together?

Some nice Ecklie continuity

So no more Sheriff Liston :( I liked her. Though I wouldn't blame her for stepping down. With Ecklie probably becoming the Sheriff, will Brass take the position of Undersheriff?

Although this won't go down as one of my favorite episodes, I thought it was decent. My main complaint would be the actual crime storyline, and some of the overly contrived scenarios. A virus culture in like 10 minutes? A dumpster in an alley as an important evidence dump site? Right.
But I did like it for the amount of involvement of the original characters, and not the newbies.

My favorite scenes were the ones with Brass and the hooker. The 'Jersey' reference was awesome. I'm hopeful that they will revisit this storyline in the future, when Ellie will actually make an appearance.

I was also saddened and touched by the death of camera girl.

I enjoyed the opening sequence, and the music. LV is just a natural setting for crime. And weird characters.
I liked the guest stars, especially 'Chastity' and the new officers. But the whole 'The chair! Get the chair!' was certainly OTT. And, really, everyone knew that rich boy was guilty of something.

Has anyone else noticed that Morgan seems to be the go-to girl for others' character development? Hodges, Greg, Ecklie. I will admit to being apathetic about Ecklie's storyline. He's much more interesting as a nemesis and politcal opportunist. Why isn't he after the current 'loose cannon' of the department: Finn?

Above average episode, thanks to Brass and the originals and the LV setting. 8/10 from me.

I wonder if there was some foreshadowing in the teaser. George Eads has stated that he would possibly like to tackle a different role in the department, and Nick's conversation with Officer Crawford could potentially give him a jolt to pursue a new career path. Also, in my interview with writer Christopher Barbour:

That’s a place where, when we plan out a season, there’s some elements that we set the groundwork for. It lays the foundation for long-term character arcs, that’s what the episode serves as.

Will be interesting to see.

I liked this one pretty well. Seemed like one of those "things can get crazy in Vegas" episodes.

Wondered about the officer tho and why he was such a big part of everything. Seems like he was almost playing the part of a detective already when they could have had an actual detective in the part.

The only other thing that bugged me...the whole "Strip Maul" thing and the constant reference to The Strip when all of this stuff actually happened downtown on Fremont Street, NOT The Strip.
