"It's going to be very dangerous for at least one of our CSI's", says exec. producer Carol Mendelsohn of the season closer~

For the May 6 episode, the CSI's reopen a cold case. "It's a story that's very personal to Captain Brass", says CM. The final two installments in May have the team nipping at the heels of serial killer Dr. Jekyll-and questions are raised about Langston's involvement, they know him well enough to know that he wouldn't be capable of killing anyone. But there is some suspicion. Mendelsohn promises more twists and turns before the season is over:"Dr Jekyll won't be a problem anymore but there will definitely be a "cliff-hanger"~

Scoop from Ausiello

Question: Do you have any CSI scoop? —Bootsie
Ausiello: The May 6 episode is titled “Lost and Found” and “it’s a really beautiful Nick and Brass story,” says executive producer Carol Mendelsohn. “It’s about a cold case, and we meet a woman who three years ago came home from her job and her husband and children were not in the house. They found her husband’s bloody truck on the highway, but they never found her family. Brass has been investigating this case for three years. It’s a terrific episode and it has a surprise ending. I don’t think anyone will ever see the end coming.”

Will Marg Helgenberger Leave 'CSI'?

Marg Helgenberger, the actress who plays forensic scientist Catherine Willows on 'CSI', told TV Squad today that her contract on the show is up after 10 years and that she hasn't yet been asked back for next season.

"My contract is up actually," Helgenberger said, when asked if she would be returning for 'CSI's' 11th season. "That's a good question. I haven't been asked back, so we'll see."

Anything about the CSI finale that doesn't involve Dr. Jekyll? — Beverly
ADAM: Make no mistake: Dr. Jekyll is the main attraction. But fans who enjoy seeing Catherine and Detective Vartan together will get another taste of the pairing in the season's final episode. Marg Helgenberger tells us, however, not to assume there will be a big romantic scene. "It's like we usually do with physical relationships on the show — it's all very subtle," she says. "But it definitely leads to a continuing relationship. Things are going really well."

From Marg's interview with TVsquad:

"What can you tell us about the upcoming season 10 finale? Is there a cliffhanger or does it wrap everything up?

Well, definitely the plot of the Dr. Jekyll killer ... comes in to the last two episodes. I just wrapped on Monday and it's actually an episode that I think the fans are going to be really happy with. It's one of our better season finales. It's very well-written, very well-crafted. Just got a lot of suspense and action. It's got complexity, it's got dark humor. There's some great dialogue. And you know, I'm proud of it. I know the producers are proud of it. It's a little of both but I won't reveal any more than that."

Okay, I'm a little more interested now. :)

From TV Guide's Mega Buzz:

How many of the CSIs will be in danger in the CSI season finale? — Caleb
ADAM: At least two, and one of them will be gunned down by Dr. Jekyll about midway through the finale. The other is part of a super-secret twist that executive producer Carol Mendelsohn is very excited about. Pressed for details, she would only hint that Jekyll isn't the only person to keep an eye on. "One or more of our CSIs will fall victim to one or more of our serial killers," she says.

An interview with Carol Mendelsohn.

"We know that something is for certain: at least one CSI will end up in a body bag by the episodes end."

This is referring to "Meat Jekyll". There are a few other small spoilers in the article link.

I must know more about which CSI cast members are in danger in the finale! — Will
ADAM: I can only tell you that one of the jeopardized CSIs will be in a group held captive by Dr. Jekyll
(Big Love's Matt Ross).
"You will spend a lot of time with Dr. Jekyll," executive producer Carol Mendelsohn tells us. "We will be with Dr. Jekyll as he watches and waits for his last victim as they are dying. Some of the CSIs will be with him, but Dr. Jekyll will definitely have the upper hand."
Thanks to vegaslights for posting this! :)

I've put a spoiler box over the actor's name who plays Jekyll, just in case some of you don't want to know that part.
