Plot:

It's a full moon, and the nuts are out. Three of the CSI guys "abduct" the hapless Henry to celebrate his birthday at a remote rib place, not realizing that the place was closed by the health department months ago. But their outing has yet more disasters in store, including the discovery of a corpse with a raccoon stuck on his face... From a casting call.

ADAM: Patience, Adrien, there's that whole three-show November sweeps crossover to deal with first. Executive producer Naren Shankar tells me the ultra-creepy serial killer who performs bizarre surgeries on his victims will pop up in Episode 9, which airs Dec. 10. The victim: a Las Vegas real estate tycoon. The surgery: "All I'm going to say is that the name of the episode is "Appendicitement," Shankar says.

CSI Files: Are there any plans for another Lab Rats episode this season?
MacDonald: Yes. It’s going to be written by Liz Vassey (Wendy Simms) and Wallace Langham (David Hodges), who are working on it with [Executive Producer] Naren Shankar right now.


CSI Files: Are you at work on a new episode now? Can you hint at what it might be about?
MacDonald: I am. And the only hint I can provide is that it would be the completion of a CSI storyline trilogy involving Sara Sidle and a very, very smart young girl.


CSI Files: Langston’s father seems to loom large in his mind. Are there plans to see him at some point?
MacDonald: Not that I know of — the character is dead and there are no plans to depict him in flashbacks.

The country music group Rascal Flatts has signed on to appear in an upcoming episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. (Spoilers after the jump!)
The episode will be called “Unshockable” and will air next year. The title is “a riff off [the group's] hit album, tour and song,” explained executive producer Carol Mendelsohn. She added, “[They'll] be playing themselves. One of the guys — and tear out my fingernails, but I won’t say who — will become the victim of a crime. The other two ‘Rascals’ will be suspects… thus, jeopardizing the future of the band.”
In addition to acting, the group will also be doing what they do best in the episode. “Of course, there will be lots of music,” Mendelsohn said, “and perhaps, even a new original song.”

Rocker-turned-moviemaker ROB ZOMBIE is in talks to direct an upcoming episode of TV drama CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION.
According to ThePulseofRadio.com, Zombie, who has made his mark as a horror filmmaker since storming the charts with his heavy rock act White Zombie, is a big fan of the forensics drama.
He won't be the show's first celebrity guest director - Quentin Tarantino won acclaim for taking charge of two episodes in 2005.
