Also, I know some of you are upset about this storyline but think in terms of it being a "coming full circle" type of story. When a similar thing happened last year to her it was a deinfing moment in that she and Delko got together. Eric is in this ep and the TV Guide mega buzz said that all the starts and stops in their relationship would sort of hinge on this ep so it sort of makes sense for the writers to go back to when and how it all started....it is like deja vu basically. But those of you who are not E/C shippers are going to harp on it no matter what happens.
Yep,I will continue to harp on the inequalties in the screen time and story arcs for the other characters when it starts again because that is what will happen. This is a never ending saga.

Well, at least the show is consistent with something!! :guffaw:

I also just noticed that no one posted the spoilers for ep 820! Which I will do but it is not going to make some people happy....

820 entitled "Backfire"...as described w/o knowing that people didn't know about the ep...my bad btw...is imo a "coming full circle" ep but also does something interesting that this show hasn't done yet and I personally thought was kind of cool.

The ep opens with Ryan and Calleigh pulling up to a burning house. While standing outside waiting for the fire department they notice a man in the window trapped inside. They rush in and try to save him but are not able to. Now this is a little confusing. We see Ryan at the scene once rescue arrives getting oxygen, unable to believe what is happening...then the spoilers skip a little but I was able to get the gist. The man who died, Patrick is actually seen by the audience trying to talk to team as they investigate the home once the fire is out...he keeps trying to tell them, as they deduce that he started the fire, that he in fact did not cause the blaze. Obviously no one can see him but Walter does feel a "presence" for a moment.

Now later, idk when, we see Calleigh at the house looking at evidence. She picks up her cell and calls Horatio leaves him a message to call her back; she thinks she found something that proves that Patrick didn't start the fire. Patrick says "thank you" and Calleigh turns and makes eye contact with him...Patrick realizes she can see him. He asks her how but she says it isn't possible and doesn't know how she can see him. Patrick begs her to help him and she says she will try.

I am not sure how but Calleigh finds herself standing in the hallway of a hospital. She turns around and suddenly Eric is walking towards her. She asks him what he is doing there but he just walks right past her w/o saying a word and heads into a room. Curious, Calleigh follows him and stops at outside the room and looks through the window. She sees Eric and Horatio exchange a sad look....then suddenly one of them moves and she is able to see what Eric is seeing for the first time...the occupant of the bed is her hooked up to machines that are keeping her alive. As she stands looking through the window, Patrick comes up next to her and she asks him if her being like this means she is going to die...he says he doesn't know. Suddenly there is a flash of light and the past few hours flash before Calleigh's eyes explaining to her how she ended up this way and to the scenes she thought were real when in reality she was an ignored observer.

They follow the team hoping to figure out who really started the fire when they see that Ryan is testing the houses internal sprinkler system and hang with him. The sprinklers did not go off the morning of the fire but when he tests them, the sprinklers activate and Ryan gets completely drenched. Curious as to why they didn't go off they follow the pipes and Calleigh and Patrick see why the sprinklers did not go off but Ryan doesn't. Seeing how no one can see them, Calleigh and Patrick, for the time being are left being the only ones knowing what happened.

Now there is more, obviously I am not going to give it all away. However, there was only one major character spoiler posted which is why there was such a heavy focus on Patrick and Calleigh's scenes. Hopefully tomorrow more will be posted and if so, I will add it here. :D

Never ending, that's the way to describe it. Yes and a circle indeed, round and round it goes and it always ends up at the same point again and again. More like recycled not consistent.

Haven't been here for a while, but decided this spoiler was worth my comment.

Have we entered the Twilight zone or is Calleigh dead? 'Cause this scene awfully reminds me of Patrick Swayze's scene at the hospital in "Ghost".
Considering this CSI and not "Ghost Whisperer", I'd say this is an awful way to make the viewers understand Calleigh is dead :shifty:

Hmmm I read it better...hooked up at some machines to keep her alive? Ugh why do I wish she died instead of having to see her like this and this "twilight" episode?

Wow! This sounds really cool! Can't wait for the episode to air. I wonder when that'll be!
Thanks for this Delkolover!

A circle-jerk (i.e. A pointless group activity performed for personal gratification - for those who are wondering what I mean.), Michya. And it's getting very, very old.

I'm actually a little horrified that I find myself hoping that Calleigh dies to end EVERYONE's frustration. :scream: :scream: :scream:

This crap has been going on for 3.5 seasons now with little to no progress. Much more interesting and promising storylines have been dropped in a micro minute compared to how long this tired, pointless, decrepit storyline has been limping along.

This constant jerking around shows a lack of respect for the audience as a whole. Makes me wonder how much respect we have for ourselves that we keep letting them do it to us - BOTH sides of the "ship."

I'm actually looking forward to this one.. not sure why, with the incessant circle-jerking, I'm sure it won't give closure to anything...but seems interesting, if only momentarily, nonetheless.

Wow that episode sounds weird.

I'm going to take some bets. Either Calleigh died, or she was injured YET AGAIN from ANOTHER fire and is just imagining all these things as she lies in the hospital, probably in some kind of dramatic coma.

I'm pretty sure Calleigh is injured. I read another spoiler that said Eric and Calleigh's relationship will come to a decision when she faces a 'life or death' situation at a crime scene. GASP!

Ryan must be magical. He can be caught in endless burning buildings and never have any issues afterwards! Haha

Holy utter nonsense, Batman! I'm sorry, but that episode sounds beyond ridiculous. It would work fine for an episode of "Supernatural", but it so does not work for Miami. It sounds like a mix of Twilight Zone, Medium/Ghost Whisperer and The Sixth Sense. A messed up mix at that. What the bloody hell are these writers thinking? This sounds like one of those weird movies that my brother rents through the mail.

Ryan and Cal in almost the same exact situation as in SGIYC? :wtf: Can these writers not come up with a NEW scenario to put them in danger? For crying out loud... I think I'm starting to see why so many people think of this show as a joke! It saddens me to say that, but this is just beyond crazy. This is so far past insane that it's more insane than Julia is!

He's mini-H, remember? ;) I swear H must have an invincibility cloak and he must have given one to Ryan. Only Ryan wasn't wearing it in "Nailed" or "WISC". I guess he forgot to pick it up from the dry-cleaners' on those days.

He will need oxygen this time, maybe the cloak has a rip in it.H needs to give Ryan a updated cloak.
