Well I suggest you check out the Miami video game. It's really good and you really get the Miami-vibe. :D

I never even KNEW that there was a CSI:MIAMI game..I've only played the LV one..>>"

I didn't know there was one either. And books?! I went ahead & ordered the game. You guys made it sound really fun!

 We are the new Miami game ambassadors. The books by Max Allan Collins, (heat wave and florida getaway) are good, they both have Speed in them. There's some great Speed/Delko banter and he describes Speed so well, such as ' Speedle was the one memeber of the team that whipping wind seemed unable to faze. His short, dark hair hugged his head, he appeared not to have shaved yet this week, and his eyes had a look that belied both his alertness and a keen intelligence'.

LOL! yes, he does describe him well! I think if I were to read the CSI Miami books, I would probably only read those 2. Otherwise, I'll just watch the DVDs. Can't wait to play the games though! It's great they use the real actors' voice. I read a comment on Amazon that at times Speed sounded like Ben Stein??? We'll see!

I didn't think he sounded like Ben Stein at all. I had the most trouble with his case b/c I was getting distracted by his voice and I'd end up missing something.

Amy...I always loved the descriptions of Speed in the first two books too, they were usually spot on. :D

Does any one know, does the game work for Mac computers? Cause I'd love to play it, but... I want to make sure before I go out and buy it.

The game's system requirements are: Windows 98/ME/2000/XP (only)

As long as the Mac computers have one of those programs installed, it should work. But I have heard it works on Macs so it might anyway. :)

 I love in the begining of Heat Wave, when Delko goes down the sewer. The honeymooners part?

thrught Speed's case i had this internal argument going on, "thats not the real speed. sounds like he has a cold" then he'd say something really speedy, and i was like, "Oh! it is speed!" Alright, Im ranting...

*camps outside Target waiting for s2*

Well, I tried to look on the net for Target and K-Mart, but neither website has a product list...but JB Hi-Fi does have the first half of s2, but there aren't many stores in SA...I'm not sure where it would be avaliable, but I swear I saw it in Target over here...I think...
Oh well, EM can't delay its release forever :p

Hell no. Or it'll be me n' you at his door at dawn with pitchforks and torches. oh yes, we're very primative.

HE CAN'T KEEP SPEED FROM AUSTRALIA FOREVER!!! :D

Are you trying to find S2 on DVD in Target? I don't know how much it is, but Amazon has all 3 seasons plus the 3 season package (pretty pricey). You can also get it from their outside vendors. I bought the game for about $11 (new) plus shipping.

I keep having dreams of "Lost Son" and this is the last thing I see on my dream before I wake up:

I need a group hug...do any of you guys still get these horrible dreams?

*hugs calleighspeedle*

 I don't recall if I ever had those dreams but..Oh well.

But I do make a point to never watch Lost Son again. Its just an all around upsetting episode. And it would have been great, had there been no character death. Good lord, they could have just had Speedle leave because he was fired or something. Not that he would have done anything wrong, but maybe he could have transfered or something. At least it would make things less upsetting for the fans. A shot to the heart tends to lose a pretty substantial part of the Miami fan base.

Yeah, maybe like Speed could have made some kind of mistake and it cost little Joey his life. And so Speed felt like it was all his fault so he quit. But no stupid Donahue wants her rating so every Speed fan has to suffer.

And I honestly don't get why writers/producers think killing off a character brings in rating...yeah sure the excitment to see who it does but when you kill them off it pisses the fans of the character off and then they lose intrest in the show. I know I did after I went back and saw s1 and s2.

And I have had lost son dreams. But I haven't had them in awhile. And I've tried to stop watching LOst son but its just one of those episode you love to hate. But I do end it every time with a "freakin ann donahue"
