    I think part of what made their banter so great is their real friendship off-set. You can see they just get along great, and that lets them ad-lib some stuff and it just comes across so much more natural.

I understand that the new year is exciting, but this is the Speed thread, you're more than welcome to wish a happy new year, once, at the bottom of your post, but please add some Speed content to it too, that goes to everyone else too ;)

    I watched Hurricane Anthony today on my DVD and that was cute the line about Speed needing exercise from Delko. I was like i can't believe you said that lol

    ohhh, I wonder if I get that channel, thanks for the reminder! Then again, I have the DVD.......hmmmm I've been meaning to watch Dazed and Confused for a while now. Maybe I'll take some time to watch that tomorrow =]

    Dazed and Confused was on the other day and I watched it. I like the movie, but if Rory was in it more, I think it would be a lot better, but that is just my opinion. :)

    I watched Dazed and Confused three times on new years eve! lol I forgot how much I love that movie! :D

    Thanks that_girl1 for information about 'Empire Records'. :D I have Fuse so I'll be on the lookout.

    About 'Dazed and Confused', I agree with timspeedlefan. The movie would have been so much better if Rory had an even bigger role. (Though Slater is a pretty cult classic character as it is) I think Slater was an excellent supporting character, but I couldn't help wanting to see more of him. :D Rory did so great as a stoner--which he happens to be in a lot of movies. :lol:

    It's too bad Rory wasn't type-casted as a cop because I much prefer him on the good side of the law. :eek: I'm not saying he was type-casted as anything else in particular but...Eh. He's a versitile actor, I wonder what other types of roles he'll choose in the new year.

    I've NEVER seen Empire Records!!!, I ordered it like forever ago and never got it. Is it any good?

    thanks for the info about empire records that_girl1, my fave rory movie possibly ever.
    and i agree also dazed is just awesome, slater by far my fave character, he had almost all the great lines...and the coolest hat. he wears a lot of rad hats in his movies.
    empire records is the best, i totally recommend it. rory is amazing in it, as is the cast overall. and its just a really chill movie. if you likes dazed i would think you'd like empire records.
    i just hope he does something else soon, i miss having my rory fix.

    :eek: You've Never seen Empire Records :eek: I didn't think I would like it until I saw it. It's a great movie. If you get a chance to see it, definately see it. I think you'll like it too.

    Yeah that is a must see movie
    and I think if you check amazon.com
    on Rory's name you might find a copy
    that you can buy.
    That's where I got all my Rory's movies,
    and CSI MIAMI too!!

    Oh calleighspeedle, 'Empire Records' is a fantastic movie. It has a lot of humour, but some very smart themes in it as well. It's more of a teen movie, but I found it to be very entertaining. Agreed with everyone else, you should definitely check it out. :D

    And the best part is, Lucas (Rory) is pretty much the main character.

    I recieved my copy from Blockbuster. It was the last copy and I had to reserve it because er, I didn't have enough money to buy it that day. (It was 30 bucks :eek:) So when I got to the till to purchase it, the sales guy said "Wow everyone's been renting this movie lately. I have to see it." :lol:
