Hay guys. Love all of your banners and I am trying to make one for myself and was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me how to make an animated banner? Thanks

it depends on what program do you use. I did animation on ImageReady. First I make pics I want to use in the banner then layer them into one mot merge just make them lay on top of each other then transfer to ImageReady then open new window for animation, then just open pics you want in each frame, something like that :)

Unfortunately i don´t know about a Freeware software for animated photos. I bought a cheap older version of Gif Animator on ebay and i tried and i tried and i tried until i figured out how it works with photos. :D Recently i upgraded the software and now i obsessed doing video stuff :p
 
i recommend animation shop - jasc ans paint shop
both are pretty simple to handle and 'cheap' guess 100$
 
Wow thanks guys you were a big help. Now all I need is to figure out how to post it as my banner here :lol:
