Re: New to Miami!! Need Answers...
I say get both. I love both seasons... I seem to be one of the few who do though.

'Cross Jurisdictions' is on Miami's S1 dvds, right before 'Golden Parachute'.
Same here faith666. I enjoyed 2 episodes - 'Felony Flight' and 'Nailed'. For me, Season 4 was pretty terrible television! I watched it out of loyalty to the show, hoping it would improve, but alas, there was no silver lining. I was very glad when it was finally over and there is no way I would want it in my DVD collection. There was no depth, no substance (as MD said) and the writing was alarmingly poor. The attempts to make anything seem meaningful just came across as very contrived to me. Very disappointing.faith666 said:
I hated season 4. We've just finished the series here in the UK and it was awful. I agree with MiamiDade, the only episode I enjoyed watching was Nailed....In fact, I couldn't even be bothered with the last 5 or so episodes of season 4.
I do know exactly what you mean by that! I kind of watched it in spite of myself, but couldn't wait for the season to end.In fact, I couldn't even be bothered with the last 5 or so episodes of season 4.
Very well put. The whole season (with the exception of the couple of episodes mentioned) seemed emotionally off in so many ways. Not at all what we had come to expect after the first 3 excellent seasons.Lucy said: The attempts to make anything seem meaningful just came across as very contrived to me. Very disappointing.

Wow... I actually really loved S4. It showed us a lot of about the characters, and went in depth with the Marisol storyline. I liked Marisol, too, Painted_Shadow. She brought a lot out in both Horatio and Eric that we probably would never have seen otherwise. And I'd suggest getting both S3 & 4, S3 was really good, as most people have pointed out, and, in my opinion, so was S4, but you really need S4 to understand Rio, unless you just want to be spoiled.
