Well not that I want it to be, but it looks like a one/two scenes things with this hostage situation. Since H might be the only one there and it's only one hostage. But for all I know it could be different. I'm just not getting too excited about this thing. Really good idea though.

802 sounds like a really interesting episode . I'm glad the writers are trying to break the routine and do some new stuff. I'm hoping some of the CSI's are inside the lab but not all of them. I would like some, maybe just one, to be outside and have to deal with knowing the team is in danger and try to do everything in his/her power to help out.

Yeah I'd love to see at leeast one of them inside the lab as a hostage. That would be pretty cool especially if this CSI will attempt something brave right when H's negotiation gets to an end, you know just to ruin everything he's done :lol:

:lol: I totally can picture this for the poor girl in this episode. Well at least whoever is outside the lab
1) is not in danger and is gonna live
2) is helping H and "helping H" means you're helping the community's sake

That would be sooo out I mean, she's almost all the time in the lab and this specific time she's outsite, what a luck, huh? Nah, I don't think so, I really hope tptb don't do that, for god's sake!!!

Oh how coool!!! A hostage situation in the headquarter. It was about time LOL. Wonder why H is the only one negotiating with this Mathew :shifty:, I mean where the hell is the rest of the team? Are they finally having a coffee break and don't notice anything? :lol:

I just checked Adam's twitter page and looks like they start filming tomorrow! Can't wait to start getting the spoilers and also for the new season to start up! It will be here before we know it I'm sure!! The only thing kind of sketchy about his twitter status is that he says "back to the grind tomorrow, tomorrow is the beginning of the end"??? Does this mean it's his last season? I hope not!!

Didn't NY have its lab taken over as well. This ep will have to be good as I find it a little out there that a Police station would not be on guard for stuff like this.

Yes, but it wasn't technically a hostage situation at the lab. The hostage situation was elsewhere in some kind of warehouse as a diversion. :lol:

Actually, I don't think I'd want any of the CSIs being hostages. I'd rather it be some of the labrats. But, it sounds like only the receptionist will be taken hostage. And it sounds like the hostage taker isn't really bad, but just trying to clear his name and no one will listen to him that he's been framed... until of course Horatio comes along. Horatio always listens. :lol:

But just think of it--how many times has a character on this show been taken hostage? It's been so overdone, and so boring. The characters in danger thing has been played to kingdom come and the show has forgotten what it really is about: the forensics.

^^ That's what I think too. It's a bit soon to have any of the CSIs in massive danger when Eric would just be getting out of his coma anyway. I'm taking this "hostage" situation pretty lightly -- however, if some of the CSIs have to wonder if thier other teammates are in danger then it's a good thing. I'd like to see a lot of team effort involved in a scenario like this. I'm definitly not expecting the lab to burst into flames, or gunfire ring through the entire building with all the CSI dodging & screaming -- though it would be pretty cool....still not expecting it for the 2nd episode of the season though.

You've pretty much expressed EVERYTHING I'm thinking, lol.

Even if CSI:NY already did a hostage situation for a season finale, I'm thinking this one is going to be different, especially since it's only the second episode of the season, not a premiere or finale.

IMO its more going to be Horatio dealing with the villain while his various team members do stuff for him to help his cause (run tests, visit houses etc...)

Poor Natalia. She needs quality screen time. I just saw her in Tipping Point last night and because of her lack of screen time I forgot how good she can be.

Don't give the writer any ideas; we know which main character they would pick for that (think Ryan).
