Holy crap. Here's the URL for an even newer promo:

Knowing Sara, she's not going to try and hurt the dog/wolf/coyote whatever it is, so she's in trouble. But I'm guessing that's why she moves out from under the car. According to the spoilers Gris finds the car but no Sara, so I'm guessing she frees herself somehow and goes somewhere else for better shelter and safety.

Re: Season 8 *Spoiler Lab* Discussion & Posting - Part 1

where do you find scripts to read? and where did you hear that gris and sar have a scene together? i trust you, i just like to see stuff for myself..makes it more exciting!!

Hey GSRfanatic25! We also have been told that Grissom and Sara have a scene together in the second episode, but it's not case related. Then, I also read a snippet of the script from episode 3 and it was scene between Doc Robbins, Sara, and Veronica. Hope this helps! :)

My hope for Sara, is that she recovers during episode 1 and 2, comes back to work for 3, finds she needs a break, so she and Grissom take a small vacation to San Fransisco in a future episode. :)

Thank's that's it, I knew that Doc, Cath Sara and the new chick worked together on a case, many thank's for this! an a vacation to SF, for the 'couple' fantastic : didn't know about this one YIPEE, that'll be so great, can't wait!

Re: Season 8 *Spoiler Lab* Discussion & Posting - Part 1

Why bother even feigning to rewrite GD? They should just have re-filmed the parts with Nick and put Sara in his place instead. Every element in this horrid story of the kidnapping is familiar and now they add a coyote, wolf instead of the ants too?

And then there will be water instead of the explosion.

At this point I'm only laughing at the stupidity.

And Sara sounds angry and not injured. If my bones were crushed I'd at least whimper, I'm quite sure I wouldn't manage such a frustrated, angry loud cry.

This is such crap! I'm not accustomed to such crap coming from the writers of CSI - alas, last season should have warned me.

Guess I'll have to wait to ep 4 before watching this saga formerly known as CSI. I'll geive them one last chance, but that's friggen it. This is just too fricken cheap.

Re: Season 8 *Spoiler Lab* Discussion & Posting - Part 1

wow, what a rant...
i don't see so many similarities w/ GD. except for it being one of their own. and how many murders/suicides/b&e/kidnappings have they done over the year. three's only so much that can be done completely originally. tehy had to do something big w/ the miniature killer that was featured all season!!
i think sara's cry to natalie sounds more desperate than anything, but sure she's angry, i'd be angry if i was being crushed under a car and left for dead...it's sara, she gets angry/emotional. and it's seems to be only her arm that's retaining the brunt of the crushing, so at the brief moments we see maybe she's ignoring the pain/fighting her way through it, she's a strong woman...i'm sure there'll be some whimpering down the line

hmmm...sorry, rambling

Re: Season 8 *Spoiler Lab* Discussion & Posting - Part 1

Sides can't be mentioned here.

I have something. It seems that Veronica Lake goes by the name Ronnie and was in a not so good sitiation, meaning almost killed, but I have no clue if she WAS killed or not, so don't hold me on it. I'm not sure if this was mentioned, I mostly skim here so as to try very hard not to get involved in things that will disturb me *points to S_bright and teenyboppers and shakes head*

Hodges is most likely in the ep, but there is no info on him yet

Re: Season 8 *Spoiler Lab* Discussion & Posting - Part 1

Ep 805-

I origonally stated it was a porn flick being shot but it was a horror movie. (oops)

pabzi is correct. Seems the new girl's life is already on the line, Catherine tries to save her (from what I don't know yet, nor do I know her fate)

So Sara is being checked out by a coyote, well she can't have it too easy can she? She has the coyote, Nick had his ants.

Living Doll eved straight off copied cinematographic effects (Nick opening the door - cur to Natalie's apartment - cut to apratment with guy in bath (digging for Nick - cut to nick's hearing sound - cut to the team finding dog). No similarities?

This storyline is nothing but a cheap copy, and very unbelievable at that. At leat Kelly Gordon had a reason to go after A CSI, do they really ant us to believe that Natalie on a janitor's pay had the money to build all those minuatures? And why would she even kill the one's she's killed so far? Where's the tie to the first case? Bleach? So was Saa carrying bleach on her? Did Griss kill her foster-dad with bleache?

They are throwing things in as they go hoping the audience will smile and swallow. I still can't get over the fact that they didn't chec the miniprint offices (specialized offset printing is required, and very costly if run in small series) in LA after the 3rd scene, or shecked out vendors of miniatures after the first. Am I supposed to believe they didn't thing of that? In that case they should all be fired due to incompetence.

Am I supposed to believe Natalie did this all on her own? Am I supposed to believe someone helped her? What would be the reasons for anybody to injure a police officer without any personal gain or rancore?

It's not only a copy, it's the worst copy I've seen any prime time tv-show try to feed it's audience and still call it 'quality-show'.

I can understand Sara-lovers and GSRers liking this storyline, but wouldn't it have been better if she had something original?

Re: Season 8 *Spoiler Lab* Discussion & Posting - Part 1

I have to agree, the simularities between this and GD are pretty obvious.

Re: Season 8 *Spoiler Lab* Discussion & Posting - Part 1

Well why ruin a good thing the grave danger ep has been highly rated among all fans so if the structure works why not go with it again?
i personally can't wait for this ep and hope its as good as GD if not better :)

Re: Season 8 *Spoiler Lab* Discussion & Posting - Part 1

That's true but it might have better if they did something more origonal. However I am looking forward to this episode because I still think it will be very exciting to watch. Plus I still have faith in CSI.

Because people get tired and irritated seeing the same thing over. It bothers some people more than others.

I agree with everyone who says its a rip off of GD. It is.

Re: Season 8 *Spoiler Lab* Discussion & Posting - Part 1

That is what these producers seem to think, but you can't force the audience to chew the same story over and over again. I'm certain this ep will not have viewers nowhere near the original GD. In fact, the way the season starts, I'm fearing further loss of the core audience and CSI turning into a teen-show with cheap romance (the ugly duckling landing the alpha-male) and goriness for shock-value. Gone is the puzzle and in comes personal drama. The show is going for the cheap thrills and it will lose in the process - there are plenty of show that offer that.

CSI was originally intended for an adult audience, that is not the case anylonger.

And Wojo? What? Another CSI in lethal peril? What a surprise! *dies of laughter* Oh, they are working hard on keeping this story fresh and interesting.
