Season 8 in the UK?

on their FAQ channel 5 say they have acquired the rights for s8 of CSI:NY (and for s12 of the original CSI) but have no broadcast dates as yet. It usually starts around mid Jan, so hopefully then. Usually, NY, CSI, and NCIS all start up here around the second/third week of January, so hopefully then. I need my fix of Mac and Gibbs and I need it soon!!!!!! I would keep an eye on their FAQ page and the c5 website and/or tv listings.

Feels like us poor UK folk have been waiting FOR-EV-ER for the new eps!!!!!

Here is the link to their FAQ page where they say about the CSI shows. I checked just last week and then when I checked today they had added info about s9 of Miami finishing, about them having the rights for s10 of Miami, which wasn't there last week so they do seem good at updating it.

I just saw a trailer for the new season of NY on Channel 5. It is 'coming soon' so we should be getting it within the next few weeks. : )

I keep seeing the advert for it, I'm so excited. That's my Saturday nights sorted for the next few months! :lol: I'm pretty much completely spoiler free this year too, so I have no idea what to expect. :)
 
So happy for you guys!!!!!! :D You know what'll be wierd though, what with the fact that we're only through ep11, ep12 isn't airing until Feb 3, and then there's that 6wk hiatus ( :( ), you all might be caught up with us by the time the finale comes around!

I was surprised that my Radio Times says 1/22 episodes? I thought it was on a reduced run?
Sounds quite moving, the opener, looking forward to it. :)
 
It is on a reduced run. There have been mistakes before in various tv guides about how many eps there are. As the season goes on, it usually gets corrected. I think the tv guide people just assume there will be 22 eps per season.
 
I enjoyed the episode. It was quite poignant.
It is strange seeing Danny in uniform, and Mac out of the lab.
I like Flack's shorter hair. Adam and Lindsay's sceen was cute, although the earlier scene when Adam was impersonating Jo was rather silly. Think they need to tone that down a bit.
Clare didnt look like I imagined her, for some reason.
I thought they handled the subject well. Just wondering now how quick Mac will be back in the crime lab!
