Season 6 S/L ideas for returning writers...

A homicide on a train, huh?
Hmmm, why am I just imagining Horatio at the wheel of this train as its running uncontrolably on the tracks like the end of the movie 'Speed'!!

Oh yeah, homicide on the train would definitely be a cool thing to see. Disasters are just optional. :p

mjszud, that's hilarious. :rommie: As long as Horatio doesn't say 'Burn Baby Burn' after, it's all good.
 
Another thing I'd like to see is more night time shots/locations and weather related scenes-lately it's always sunny in Miami and I lived there 20+ yrs and it rains alot actually. I was looking at first 3 seasons episodes and it used to rain more. Would also like to see scenes of Kyle at school or better yet surfing or skateboarding since I understand Evan Ellingson is talented at both those so he could be in some park or beach and a crime happens nearby and he gets to see his dad working.
 
I definitely want to see more backstory for Ryan and Alexx. Wasnt there an episode in the earlier seasons about Alexx's family? Didnt it involve some child predator or am I thinking of another show?
 
^ Well we saw Alexx's kids in 'Broken', I believe. She was reading to her kids and then she decided to tell them about all the big bad wolves out there. And I also think there was an episode later on about predators in which Alexx stated that she put posters up around her neighborhood indicating all registered sex offenders in the area.

^ I'd love love love to see some weather in Miami. The last time I saw that there was rain (that I can remember) is 'Death Grip'.
 
Frank has 3 kids & what? 2 ex wives?
We never hear even a peep about them.
Some exploring on that issue would be nice.
I think it'd be hilarious to see Frank in "dad mode". I bet he's a hard ass!

Rain would be a nice touch. All those sexy CSI's dripping wet....:drool::drool:, uh YEAH.... i'll take some rain!

Also, i'd like to see more stuff happen in the lab, such as an explosion, more gunfire like in Urban Hellraisers.
Or even better, a crime involving any one of the CSIs in thier own home or when they're off the clock somewhere.
Alexx's fires, Calleigh's constant car issues are becoming a bit much, ....more creativity please.
Im sure Alexx cannot even look at a lit match without running for cover & if I was Calleigh, i'd start taking the bus.
 
oh yeah we forgot our dear Frank...we need to see some more stuff about his family;)

I would really like to see some ex girlfriends/ex boyfriends of our characters. It would be nice to see some ex boyfriend of Calleigh`s that is not Jake.

Maybe we could have somebody`s ex on Alexx`s table and, of course, more Alexx.
 
Bring Speed back again. Have something happen to Ryan, and this is when Eric will start to see Speed again. Have Speed tell Eric that Ryan is a good guy and to give him a chance, just like he gave Eric.

Here are 10 ideas of mine...
1...Horatio is kidnapped for 3/4 of an episode and the rest of the team and Stetler have to work together to find him before the kidnappers get around to killing him.
2...A Knight Rider crossover. David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight and William Daniels as the voice and personality of KITT. NOT the Knight Industries Four Thousand from that futuristic Knight Rider movie they made back in the early 1990s and NOT the KITT from that movie NBC aired last month-(February 2008). The original KITT...just stick his voice and personality and the things he can do in a cool modern day sports car like the Chevy Camaro. I don't like the new 2008 Ford Mustang like the one NBC used in that movie last month-(February 2008), the 2008 Mustang is ugly on the front.
3...Just the females work the case. The guys all be off RELUCTANTLY helping Stetler with a pet project, so they're all unreachable...on Stetler's order, of course. Introduce a female detective to fill in for Frank.
4...A fan show. The suspects, the killer, the murder victim all be played by CSI: Miami fans.
5...An episode where the case involves this section-(CSI: Miami) of this website.
6...A Diagnosis Murder crossover. Let father and son murder solving duo Mark and Steve Sloan-(played by real life father and son Dick and Barry Van Dyke) be on vacation in Miami and end up helping Horatio and the team solve the case.
7...Anthony Zuiker and Ann Donahue play a married couple where he ends up dead and she's the prime suspect. But it turns out that either Carol Mendohlson's character or one of Stetler's relatives did it.
8...This is for people like me who wouldn't mind seeing a Horatio/Alexx ship. Alexx's husband is killed. Her and Horatio are being framed as the prime suspects, making it look like they killed him so they could be together.
9...Elizabeth Divine play a female IA officer who is investigating Stetler and she turns up dead. The reason she's investigating Stetler is cause someone in the lab, possibly Horatio or one of his team, has been sending the Cheif and IA letters complaining about Stetler and how he does his job. Guess who becomes the prime suspect. You got it. STETLER.
10...David Caruso play himself, his NYPD Blue character John Kelly and Horatio. I'd pay to watch this episode just for the confused reactions from Stetler, Frank, Calleigh, Natalia, Valera, Alexx, Ryan, Eric and the new A/V girl, Samantha, that's replaced Cooper.
Well, there are my 10 ideas for everyone's approval or disapproval.

I just thought of #11.
How they can wrap up the Julia story.
Julia is holding a gun on Horatio threatening to kill him cause he now knows the truth about her involvement in Kyle's mistrail and Mrs. Newberry's death. So that makes Horatio a loose end. She doesn't want to kill Horatio but she doesn't want to leave him alive as a loose end either. Stetler comes up behind Julia during all this. Horatio sees Stetler but doesn't show it. Just as Julia is about shoot Horatio, Stetler shoots Julia and saves Horatio's life...much to Horatio's chagrin. You know Stetler wouldn't be the kind to let Horatio forget who saved his life. That's why much to Horatio's chagrin.

12...David Hasselhoff as his Baywatch character Mitch Buchannon. Mitch becomes a suspect in a case where an ex-lifeguard is found dead on the beach. Mitch becomes a suspect because it's someone he used to work with and really hated.
13...Jerry Springer as the murdered host of a wild talk show much like his own. Have other talk show hosts Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien, Maury Povich and Regis and Kelly playing the suspects.
14...Have the 4 most popular cast members-(as voted by fans online) of each of CBS's 4 soaps-(Young and the Restless, Bold and the Beautiful, As the World Turns and Guiding Light) as suspects and one cast member from either Days of Our Lives or General Hospital as the murder victim.
15...Have Gary Sinise's CSI: NY character Mac Taylor visiting and someone attempts to kill Mac. Notice I said "attempts to kill", they don't succeed, Mac survives, so it's only attempted murder.
16...GHOST BUSTERS. An episode where the evidence seems to suggest that either Speedle, Hagen, Marisol or Raymond's ghost murdered someone. <<<This would make a great Halloween episode.:rommie:
17...You may now kill the weatherman. A little play on the title of tonight's CSI: Miami episode. A weatherman at a convention of meteorologists is murdered. All the suspects are weathermen and weatherwomen.
18...The game Clue. Have an episode where a bunch of MacGyver-esque CSI wannabes are the ones who solve the case. *MacGyver-esque-(like MacGyver they can turn a pile of junk into something useful)
19...Stetler did it, NOT. Have an episode where Stetler is framed and Horatio and the team have to clear Stetler.
20...A contestant on a tv show like America's Got Talent is killed on national tv.
If I think of another 10 ideas...I'll be sure to post them. ;)
