Any updates on the new team member replacing Liz Vassey on CSI? — Brittney
ADAM: Two things: First, the new team member won't exactly replace Vassey. "We did not hire a new cast member," executive producer Carol Mendelsohn says. "It's potentially recurring, but at the moment, it's for one episode." Second, the new CSI, to be played by British actress Sienna Guillory (Criminal Minds), will be a total BABE. (What? It stands for bombs and ballistics expert!)

Ahh you beat me to it, EricaSJ. :lol: I was going to post that news. Anyway, that's what I was thinking that she was only going to be a recurring cast member and not full time. That's good to hear overall.

Interesting that she notes she is a 'new CSI' instead of lab tech. I guess Kacey is not on the night shift. ;)

EDIT: After reading it a second time, I'm not sure if the second part was a quote from the producer or something in the writer's own words.

"I think fans will be satisfied. She will be able to say goodbye to Hodges, and Hodges will take his anger and heartbreak out on a fellow tech."

the part about Grissom wouldn't surprise me, but I'll hope that we'll see him before then

I assume Hodges takes it out on the new girl or Henry, and what's the promotion I wonder

:lol:...I can't believe he answered my question! Well thank you to whoever it was that suggested asking the questions to the people that could answer them. I can't remember who it was sadly enough.

If it's Henry?? Poor poor guy...cause if Hodges had a mouth on him before....if he's experiencing heartbreak and anger.....then I'd be afraid for anyone who steps in his path, or looks at him the wrong way.

Promotion...*snickers to self* Perhaps HE'LL take charge of everything and everyone...Just kidding. I dunno, perhaps a CSI level even though he hates the field. Be it for me to say, but he looks rather comfortable when he does go out...even if he does complain.
 
The shows series finale:confused: or the last epsiode of S/11? Are they saying that S/11 is it? That's along time from now:(glad Hodges is still with us.. that'll be a heart wrenching episode~
