Season 11 "Spoiler Lab" Discussion Part 2

To me, Sqweegel seems like the kind of villain you'd find in an over the top horror movie or fanfiction. I mean he's never caught for years and tortures his victims in probably every way possible? Sounds a bit too much like Jigsaw for me

I'm hoping that S11 will have more eppies like, say, Internal Combustion. We had the whole team working together, got a bit of backstory from Greg, one of the older techs returned and the case itself was quite interesting...that's what I'd like to see.

yeah im with you on this one.

i also agree with some other posts about the lack of greg in some parts. yeah they work as a team but sometimes more appear more than others. id just like to see another good storyline on gregs part. but we'll see i guess.

i am interested to see what the first ep is gonna be like tho.

It doesn't seem like any fan will ever be 100% happy with who's on more, and who's not, I did also wonder in the "Rascal Flatts" ep. "Unshockable" where Greg was in the end. But so many episodes do feature the whole team, And to me I think that Nick is the "rock" of the team he's always there for everyone, even going back to him and his bud Warrick. How angry he was when he found him taking those pills. It's cause he cares. He's kind, considerate, sympathetic, helpful and always there for the team Plus he'
s a pitt-bull while working on a case. And how he embraced Ray, from the beginning, "You don't have to wear a tie" and in "The Lost Girls" how he helped Ray find Maddie, so caring and so involved. And in "Doctor Who", he went over to his house and comforted him "were a team" much to Ray's delight. I really think if George left the show, I would find it hard to watch. In "Gum Drops" captivating, the list is endless. I hope we get to see him exculsively in S/11, the more, the better. He's a "force to be reckoned with". I've read negative comments about him [George] on 'other sites' shameful, and vile, but thank goodness, I think every fan on this site adores and loves him to the max~

No idea what Sqweegel is.But if is related to serial killers, I am all for it.That said,CSI has a different way to present them compared to Criminal minds and I want to keep it that way.Looking forward to it.

I TOTALLY agree.. If George left I just think that it wouldn't be the same at all.. Some characters work better with others but Nick seems to be just fine with everyone..

And to keep it on topic.. So I know there will most likely be some follow up but I wonder if the aftermath of 'Meat Jekyll' will be a main part of the entire season opener or if it will just be the first 15mins and then fast forward to the next case..

I don't know, I'm not really excited about this Squweegel guy, I didn't read the books, maybe I will be in October when I see the promo or as time goes by and promo pics and more info comes along

I'm just not in the mood for any new serial killers right now, it's not like we don't have a new one every single season, I'm just serial killered out, DJK will be back this season and then there's the MK, when will Billy be back so we can see her again??? Or this new killer could have something to do with Greg or he could have a storyline of some sort finally

Could we have a serial rapists, we haven't had one of those in awhile, at least something new and different besides a serial killer since there's supposed to be a "new creative direction", the new BABE :angryrazz: and Squweegel just isn't working for me CBS

Count me in who isn't excited about that new serial killer thing. Again? Why don't they try something different this time? A serial robber? A serial kidnapper? A serial slapper? A serial grass cutterer? :wtf: I don't know... Does it have to be a serial? I know that's a crime show and i know the killing, the killers, blood, violance mean reyting but i also know the crime is not only about killing.

When was the last time we actually had a case that wasn't about killing? What about roll calls, breaking and entering, theft? The last one that even vaguely matched this was Working Stiffs, cause at the end he tried to rob the place (but then again someone died before and after the robbery :shifty: )

New serial killer? Eh. New tech? Eh. Liz leaving? Eh. Beiber guest starring? Eh. I'm still waiting for something to actually convince me to watch the premiere.

Then again, there is Clark's funeral. I might watch it just to witness this incredible act of continuity

Agree that the whole serial killer storyline is getting a bit old, i miss the old school episodes that were simple one-shots or ones like 'Locomotives'.

Also a friend of mine on holiday in vegas said CSI were filming at the Golden Nugget Tank, assuming that's for the pool shark episode? At the moment i'm more excited about the second episode than the premiere.

I like the idea of a the funeral for Officer Clark. I does show continuity and the fact that the crime lab and the cops are all on the same team, working together. I liked it at Warricks funeral when there were cops there and at Officer Bell's funeral in A Bullet Runs Through It when there were others there besides cops.

I'm wondering, do we have a cast list for the premiere?

Holly is one of Hefner's girls in the Playboy mansion.

Thank You! That's where I heard the name before (not sure she's there anymore). Can't say I was overly impressed with her in The Girls Next Door though (yes I'm :alienblush: to say that I actually watched a few eps) . I guess we'll find out if she can do 'acting' better than she can do 'reality'.
