CSI Level Two
Sarah Goldfinger has apparently left 'CSI' and is now writing for 'Brothers and Sisters'. This is from a B&S blog:
"Co-executive producer Sarah Goldfinger comes to us from CSI, where she started as a staff writer at the show's inception and rocketed her way up to Co-Executive Producer during her 8 year tenure. Over the past three years, Sarah was under an overall deal with CBS/Paramount where she developed two pilots. She hails from Williamsport, Pennsylvania and attended Amherst College where she majored in playwriting. If you find a little gift in the writers' room-- anything from lavendar plants to squeezy toys-- it probably came from Sarah. Thanks, Sarah!"
Sorry, if this is old news for some. It's too bad; I liked her episodes.
That bothers me. Her episodes were (generally) good and she's been with the show since nearly the beginning (and not to mention, one of the few original writers left on the show).
I'm hoping she is still on the show, but who really knows.
'Brothers and Sisters' is on ABC, so I doubt she could write for both shows. She will be missed. Rashomama is one of my all-time favorite episodes.
I, too, was wondering if it had anything to do with that lawsuit.
But 8 years on one tv show is a long time for a writer. Maybe she was ready for something different. I wish her luck!
