Season 10 Ratings Thread

I'd like to know that as well. I don't Facebook or Twitter, nor can I access those sites while I'm working. I rely on you fine folks here to keep me informed.

I don't know if Jimi made an error or he looked at an imposter's twitter page.
Gary's official twitter page difinitely does not have any mention of NY not returning.

That could be. I did check out GS's FB page and nothing as well as I saw on CSI:NY Twitter and FB page, nothing.

Jimi, the only way you know the person is legit on twitter is if you see a check mark that means it's verified. Also, GS has a picture of himself with part of the American Flag and he is playing his bass guitar. ;)

Since I don't use social media like Facebook and Twitter, I have to rely on what is said on this Community Board and Press Releases that come from reliable news sources in print or on line. The articles I have seen tells me that CBS doesn't care so much about ratings, it's revenue.

Like I said, they are a pubicly owned corproation that has to look good on Wall Street to keep investors not selling their stock in CBS, nor the stocks in CBS become worthless.

The stock market is something that most people watching TV don't think about, especially CBS, but the stock market effects the programming on CBS and the money they have to spend in a Operating or Capital Budget to pay empoylees, from the Janitor all the way up to cast, crews and writers of programs, plus other expense to make a program look real.

Peace

The season finale, 'Habeas Corpse', brought in 7.94 million viewers and a 1.7 in the key 18-49 demo. Considering the 52 minute delay, I don't think those are bad numbers for CSI: Miami…

Ratings last night were horrid for NY and Miami. But then when you consider who they were going against.

NASCAR and the Titanic.

What exactly were you expecting considering both were repeats and Saturday ratings are generally terrible for most shows? I don't think even NCIS can muster a 1.0 on that day.

I wasn't really expecting anything even though I don't really pay attention to ratings for Saturday nights. I'm also not sure what CBS was thinking if that was going to help them decide if Miami should come back.

Our show ended up #19 for the season. That is better than I expected. Notice that New York didn't make the list.
