Thanks Greatfan. I could look into those eyes forever...
Well. managed to get on the computer briefly. Ok, thought of a quick discussion topic to keep us ticking along.
What is everyones favourite Ryan moment from any season, and least favourite moment?
My favourite moment is (and this probabaly looks bad) when he got the nail through his eye and Delko was taking him to hospital. Not that I enjoyed seeing him suffer, although he played it very well, but it was from that moment that I realised Ryan was my favourite character on any tv show. I didnt read spoilers then, so I wasnt sure if he would live, and I was on the edge of my seat. Nowadays I watch more for Ryan than I do for enjoyment of the show.

My least favourite moment- when he was fired. I hated the gambling story. It came out of nowhere and wasnt resolved properly. And it capped of a season full of Ryan messing up. I cant actually rewatch that episode! I felt so sorry for him.

Well about favorite moment we're same Solitaire.
It was really good episode for Ryan and it was also the episode I started to watch the show only for Ryan.
But there are some more episodes I liked. It could feel weird but from all the season's I've seen there're still two episodes (s4 and s5 or 4) I haven't seen at all. The one was Driven (if I'm correct on title) and Hurricane (again if I'm correct with title).
Anyways, my second favorite episode is WISC and I guess it's needless to say why ;) I can say that I'm bit attracted to the episodes where something, bad or good, or just hysterical funny, happens to Ryan, those moments are the best we can really learn something about character. Of course it might be only my POV.
The third best episode for me was Time Bomb, and also pretty needless to say why that is so (plot, performance and of course Ryan's house from inside).
The rest is just bits and pieces from various episodes all way long.
The worst episode in my opinion was where he got fired (Burned I guess was the name of it), well it was the episode I started to dislike Stetler. Gambling story itself wasn't that bad, I've always believed something like that adds some extra spice to the character and makes it more exciting. The thing I still don't like is how that storyline was put out, the writers could do so much better with that (at least that's what I'd do in their place).
The other episode I didn't like was 7x01 mostly because how others were thinking that Ryan has something bad in mind. And how H put Ryan's involvement when explained to Eric. It was kinda off note for me.
I think it was all I had in mind but I'll add some more thoughts if I got some later

My favorite moment from the third season is Ryan's first episode. It was that episode where we learn he is ambitious, smart has OCD has an eye for detail and wants to do a good job. These are the qualities I bring out when I send in feed back also because the writers seem to forget quite often.
I also like "Nailed" just because Jon does such a great job at being shot with a nail gun and it was this episode where Ryan stated those famous words " Haven't you ever pushed aside the dinner plates to get some?".
I didn't like that scene in "Sex and Taxes" where Ryan took evidence to Horatio without giving credit to Eric, it made me cringe a little.
I love Ryan in "Curse of the Coffin".It's one of my overall favorite episodes.
I too hated the gambling/fired just because I don't think it was handled well. There wasn't enough build up to Ryan's problem and for some reason, there are viewers than still hold it against him,so maybe it could have been written differently.
I liked the scene in the morgue where Ryan saved Kyle by pushing him out of the way of the grenade going off in season 7.That slide across the floor was awsome. The whole thing would have been better if he had been thanked for his efforts.
I too liked "Time Bomb",especially Ryan's scenes with Stetler.I also liked that we got a little peek inside Ryan's home and learned he golfs. That swagger of Ryan's as he escorted Stetler in handcuffs was great scene, mostly because of the swagger. :)
One of my least favorite moments from season 8 will always be that "I'm hungry" statement from "Point of Impact".I told someone that the writers fingers(Krystal Houghton) should have been broken or cut off for that.

The other episode I didn't like was 7x01 mostly because how others were thinking that Ryan has something bad in mind. And how H put Ryan's involvement when explained to Eric. It was kinda off note for me.
I feel the same. At the time,I felt what a horrible ass team(with the exception of Natalia)The explanation is really horrible. There are some that felt H was saying Ryan could handle the problem better, and others that think H would rather throw Ryan under the bus than Eric. IMO,that is an example of really poor writing for fans to have that large a difference of opinion. The reason should be clear(of course I felt Ryan could handle it better because he wouldn't be as emotional, and would carry out the request because of his respect for H.)
I loved a lot about Ryan this season. I wish he had a good story this season and hope to see a story with substance for him next season.

Oh my, I did forget one episode already
Course of the Coffin was another fav episode for me. I really enjoyed it and I just loved Ryan in that episode.
Also I just found another episode (surfing through the pics) Sunblock, I guess was the correct name, where I liked Ryan. He was very caring and gentle of that girl he had to guard. Few months ago I saw it again and I found myself smiling all the moments where Ryan was. In my view it was season's 6 brightest and sunniest episode, well at least for me.
Oh and Wrecking Crew's moment of fear when I truly saw that Ryan's afraid of heights was priceless.
And I was touched by his fighting skills in s7's episode (forgot the name again. But it was like 13 or 14 episode).
Currently, as being half asleep, I can't find more to add on my long thought trail :)

The episode where Ryan was a "body guard for the girl(swimmer) was Cyber-lebrity.
Sunblock was the episode Ryan was reinstated which is what I liked about this episode.

Whoops! :shifty:
The only season I knew the episode titles were season 8.
But I know few episode names for season 9 as well.
Uh I knew the Cyber-lebrity name but it mixed up somehow :alienblush:

Ah now I know why the Sunblock got into my mind :)

^^

That's okay, you remembered they were both important Ryan episodes.
I remembered Sunblock because until that episode aired,I only looked at the episodes for the Ryan parts and then I would skip the rest. Ryan was appearing in only a few scenes because he had been fired.I looked at Cyber-lebrity because it was mostly Ryan. I went back and looked at other episodes after Ryan was reinstated.

Well mostly I did same but I watched every episode anyway- what if there's Ryan and I miss that...
But mostly I just didn't pay attention if there wasn't Ryan in episode.

I found that I really didn't miss much,I think in one episode I missed a Ryan scene.I did see everything later. I really, really wasn't into the storyline at the time and even when I went back to watch them again I didn't pay much attention.

Thank you greatfan those are beautiful :adore:

Oh that shirt, gotta find mine soon... *shows fist to the closet*

Uh 7x02 tonight... Hope it was good for our boy

Welcome :)

Oh yeah, really short. Bit too short for my liking but looks good anyways :)
I think even shorter he had while ago, but can't be too sure.
I need to see more episodes and some repeteadly. I remember I saw how gel or something like that flushed out of his hair in MMIH when the guy pushed his head in the water first time.

I wish it was me with my fingers in his hair.
