Ryan/Jon #27 - His Royal Hotness

So, I just read the book... woah. After reading this, I'm actually really excited for Jon to take on these characters. The book is really full of depth, extremely intense.

Suffice to say, I will definitely be seeing this movie.

 

I just found the webpage of the film's editor, and she indicates the movie's title has been changed from "Bleecker Street" to "Identical".

:wtf: Aww, I hope she changes her mind. IMO, Bleecker Street sounds much better than the generic 'Identical'.

as for the title 'bleecker street' was better. mostly because it didn't give away any plot guesses (imo) but if it's changed to 'identical' now than it gives more leads about plot. at least for me, not knowing full story (don't have book) so it's again my insight

 

I got the book on a website but I'm not sure if I will read it or not since some people said it wasn't safe for young wolfe pack like me.

But I'm really curious...ugh.

 

If you read the back of the book, that's kind of an indicator of a lot of the content of the whole thing. The language isn't horrible, they do use the F word a couple times, but not like all the time. There's a chapter or two in the beginning that has some child abuse in it. After that any "danger" would come from the abundant graphic sex scenes.

I'm hoping they focus more on the story and the characters in the movie. But the book is definitely questionable for younger folks. I say read the back of the book and if that makes you uncomfortable/freaks you out, maybe don't read it.

And about them changing the title... I hope they change it back Bleecker Street is much better than Identical.

Someone had mentioned keeping the name we have now.If we include it in the poll,perhaps we could make the name ,His Royal Hotness part 2.
I've seen this done occasionally with threads.

I like the name Bleecker Street too.

 

well i had some great ideas for new thread title but they somehow dispareared at the moment i woke up in the morning after enormously amazing dream (Jon accompanied me through all dream:lol: oh god how vivid and colourful dream was that! and Jon was so real and i even talked to him and touched him:drool: OMG )

so i woke up and was so stunned i even forgot everything i was about that day. well now i could only vaguely recall some previous mentions for new thread including current poll possibles. but i may try to come up with something if i manage in time or at least i'll try.. :lol:

i know sounds silly but these title versions struck me when i looked at my avatar :guffaw:

 

I personally like the original title of the movie as well.

"A Smile Brighter Than Diamonds."
"No Bleak Days on Bleecker Street." =).

I'll think of more when I'm more creative...

LOL,we don't want too long of a list.We may need to eventually do some type of vote to eliminate and see which titles make it to the poll.We normally use the left over names from the previous poll for the current poll also,so the list could get pretty long.

PS-I think we should keep the poll list to no more than 6-7.We need to eliminate a few.My idea is for us to copy and paste the above list(include the names from the poll too) and cross out what we will eliminate. The 6-7 remaining most popular make the list.
