NY Forum Trip to Los Angeles: Year Two!

Its a bugger i'm in UK, and will be a ex student just left uni with a rather large debt.

I had the chance of going to US but that would be Begininng of June as my friend is out there in Indiana finishing her year before she comes back to UK but its not happening.

I agree with the meeting people in person from online is the best. I have 3 very very close friends who i met online here in the UK and we meet up 2-3 times a year for a girly weekend and its amazing 1 is one of my best friends now wouldn't imaging it without her.

My loving wife is sooooo right about the pizza! Not sure about the gay porn so unless I can watch girl on girl lube wrestling or foxy boxing, another TV so I could watch ESPN and drink beer would be good, or perhaps some military history, which is the section I threw myself at in the bookstore in LA last year. Rachel/Kristine/Laura/Rhonda know what I'm talking about ;)

Very nice of you to say so MrsG and obviously we'd love to be there as last year was an absolute blast. I want to go on another 'hike' with the whiny bitches :D
 
Yippee!! And this year I won't be too tired to misbehave -- or have the smell of dinner turn my stomach. I can't wait for this trip, wooooo hoooo! And the best part is going to be suckering work in to paying for the plane ticket again. And a mother-in-law to babysit the spawn!
 
You know, I thought that you guys would have gotten over a few of us who needed to call the waaaa-bulance for the hike by now! Gosh! :rolls eyes: I'm not hiking with any of you this year, so there. The one who brought this up couldn't even find the damn place, and she even LIVES there--so I don't want to hear anymore of anybody's crap. :lol:

I'm really hoping that the same crowd shows again this year, because I had a great time last year and would love to see you all again. We need less activities to be at this year. It seemed like there was some place to be every minute of the day. It was fun but really, really exhausting!

If I can make it, I will be sleeping peacefully in my bed on that morning.

Bugger. It's too bad I don't have my passport or I would definitely be there this year. *sigh* (Maybe if I make the extra effort. Pizza and porn sounds delicious. :lol:)

Would be interesting if my first trip to the US included visiting with some TalkCSI members.
 
Damn. Some childcare complications are rearing their ugly heads... good thing I have 6 months to iron this out.
 
Oh, Lord, as much as I would love to get there, I'm already committed to New York at the end of June, it's my daughters 21 birthday gift..........So, all of youse have a blast and I'll join the line of..... maybe next yearers ;) Aaaannnd to anyone who's a little sceptical about meeting people they only know over the net....Don't be. I met a very good friend of mine over the internet a little over 6 years ago, never looked back.. :D

That's because no one told me Fern Dell was two words, so there was no way for Henrietta to find it! :p And I would have been on the hike if I could have been.

Fryman Canyon is fun, but if you pansies want to stay home, we won't laugh at you. Too much. ;)

rox and Joolz and anyone else who can't make it--I'm sorry! :( It would have been nice to meet you guys, but I have a feeling there will be a third trip if this one goes as well as the last... :)
 
^It's also fun to just relax and do nothing during a trip. Where's the joy in a vacation if you're exhausted? ;)

I really hope I can make it the next time round, I don't feel at all skeptical or afraid of the thought of meeting you guys. I'm sure you're all nice and good people. :p

At least this gives me something to look forward to, and something to make me save up my money. Hehe!
