All jokes aside, I was really happy with their scenes tonight, because if Sofia is going to have limited screen time, at least have that screen time with Nick. And dammit, Nick needs a good woman already, it's like everyone on the show is allowed to get laid but him. And Sofia is awesome and has the hots for him. Why not?

I didn't tape the episode, so I don't have any videos. But maybe there'll be some online soon. I hope so. And screen caps, too.
I think they really enjoy working with each other. The other characters didn't seem to warm up to Sofia, but Nick is always nice to her, makes her laugh (and she makes him laugh), etc. They get along great. So it's no surprise that Nick wanted to go with her. It also seems that when Nick works cases that hit him hard, the detective with him is Sofia. They probably have bonded over that. He feels comfortable showing vulnerability in front of her.

I just watched S8 premiere and I have to say it was a great episode. But I was so sad that Louise wasn't in the opening credits. It takes away all hope. Dammit!

I'm a little confused about her status now, but I don't care, if she only has good screening time (and yes with Nik too ). She really won't be in the next episodes ? Crap. But thanks for all news

Now when I managed to see S8 premiere I'm thinking that they have had a number of scenes together and all of them have been great! I was thinking (it's dangerous!) about season premiere and came to conclusion that the episode could be beautiful start for their relationship. Although I can't believe they aren't together yet! They could realize how fragile and precious life is and they shouldn't waste time anymore. And when they are driving back from the desert, Nick would say something to Sofia, ask her out or something... "Would you like to get a cup of coffee with me?" or "Do you have plans for tomorrow?" or "Would you like to have dinner with me?" or "Would you like to go out for a drink?" Actually I don't care what Nick would say I just want he would make his move eventually.
