    1. Trying to keep up my resolution from last year ( -> quit smoking. I've been nicotine-free for a year and 3 days now. Yay, me :D)

    2. Since I quit smoking, I've started to bite my nails. So no more of that either! (Anyone got any ideas how to do that?)

    3. Simple. More study, less party, better results.

    Re: New Year Resolutions

    - To not have any... well it's not like I would have stuck to anything else either way :p

Plus they said on the news yesterday that you should start this resolution business in March because all the stress of the holidays are over.

    Re: New Year Resolutions

I used to make resolutions on my birthday when I was little, it's more individual than making it for the new year. I would make lists with things I wanted to achieve until my next birthday.

    Re: New Year Resolutions

I don't really have any resolutions, just a couple of things to try and do:

    1) Read more books (I have a list of over 150 I want to read)

    2) Eat out at more new/different restaurants.

Pretty boring, but there we are

    Re: New Year Resolutions

Okay here's mine and I'm gonna try and stick to these:
    1. spend more time with my friends.
    2. watch less CSI - I can catch up on the episodes I missed on the weekend.
    3. Start exercising again!!! I gained too much weight since chritmas.
    4. Concentrate on school.

    Re: New Year Resolutions

I have 3 New Years Resolutions.
1: To get through my management training course and sign off as a manager.
2: To stop biting my nails. I actually gave up biting my nails in June 2006 but I keep falling back into the habit every so often. I've been really bad over Xmas.
3: Go to the gym more often. I have the membership, I just don't go.

    Re: New Year Resolutions

Gosh, I have more Resolutions this year than any year I can think of.

    1) Get a job with a union. I'm tired of being stiffed by racist, sexist managers who don't pay for the first week. (Douches, that's call free labour and it's kind of illegal)

    2) Finish my courses once and for all. I've been procrastinating way too long and it stops here. :D

    3) To take this PTSD by the horns and stop letting it control me. 2007 was when the accident happened and 2008 is going to be when it stops taking charge of my life. The car is gone, I didn't die and there must be a reason for it.

    4) Go to Miami. I managed to convince my family so the next step is actually working to get there. I need a vacation and it's going to be in Miami, damnit. I don't care if I have to sneak into the cargo hold of a plane, I'm going.

    5) Stop spending money on everyone else and concentrate on myself for a while.

    6) Last and most important: Don't become too busy and forget about TalkCSI. Despite what my friends and family think, I do have responsabilities and friends here. I forgot about SL and supernatural.tv and I really don't want to catch up.

    Re: New Year Resolutions

    1) To loose a bit of weight! (Yeh right!)

    2) To do things for myself rather than going out of my way to help people when they dn't even thank me!

    Re: New Year Resolutions

My New Year's Resolution is to finally write a story about fanfiction. I already started writing it. Let's see if I ever finish it.

Looking back on my resolutions for last year:

    1. I did lose some weight: 15 kgs. But I started eating healthier in October, so I didn't do it all year long.
    2. My grades got better.
    3. I barely spend any time on my computer, so that's good.
    4. Got slightly better.
    5. I earned more money, so I spent more. But I spent less money, relatively.

    My new ones:

    1. Go on with eating healthier.
    2. Don't try to be too addicted to that one person.

Eheh, edit. Soph, you shouldn't have said that.

Oh well, at least you know what I wanted to say about it, don't you? ;)

My girlfriend made a resolution for me.

I am to try to keep the apartment clean and not leave my stuff lying around everywhere

Furthermore she suggested I vacuum at least once a week.

I'm not likely to follow through, I'm too lazy. But I promised to try for her...
