off topic: thanks sissi, i'll promise to keep posting, following the rules (like now btw, waited five minutes before editing my post and posting it :lol:)

sophia looked at flack when he got of the phone, still thinking about his parfume. totally absent, she asked him: so, what do we do now? go over to the rest, check how hawkes is doing? we are cops, we need to do something... and if we can't do anything, we can go for dinner, i'm starving... but i assume you got another suggestion, about what to do now? i got a message on my mobile phone, by the way, when you were phoning, and it said H. has been shot in his arm... there seems to be a second shooter....'. she looked at him, straight into his blue eyes. she was melting inside, and the earlier this case would be over, although she was very worried about hawkes and horatio, the better. than she could go out with him sometime.. but now, FOCUS on that case!!, she told herself. she putted on her most lovely smile, hoping flack saw she was trying to flirt with him and working the case at the same time...

Sara was in the midst of questioning Sheldon when he revealed that someone had forced him to put on the sabotaged vest. Sheldon later revealed that there was a second shooter and that it was Shane Casey, the person who had set him up and sent him to prison in the first place. Sheldon became increasingly upset and agitated, and it became that further questioning would only exacerbate the problem. "Okay Sheldon, you're safe now, you're here with your colleagues. We will all make darn sure that neither of the shooters get anywhere near you, okay? You've been tremendously helpful." She turned to Mac and the rest of the New York team. "It appears that since Hawkes was able to identify both his shooters that you guys are all in the clear. Now we need to get these guys. I'll call Catherine and let her know what we've found out, and maybe we can wrap this up and make an arrest." She went out to the hallway and dialed Catherine on her cellphone. "Cath, it's Sara. Update on the vest. Sheldon claims that it was department issue and that Mac approved it. However, at some point Shane Casey broke into Sheldon's room and forced him to put the vest on. Hawkes also identified Shane as the second shooter--the one whose bullet actually wounded Hawkes. So the hotel room needs to be processed for evidence of Shane being there," Sara said.

[I gotcha sissi. :) I'll try to clear things up for you here.]

Horatio explained to Wally that he had been dangerously sick for the past week, and was at his home when he called Mr. Wolfe, who was, at the time, at the convention. Ryan had proceeded to tell his supervisor that there had been a shooting there and an NY officer had been shot several times in the chest. There was one suspect in custody. Horatio told the uniform that he felt well enough to go to work on the case, since it had Miami's jurisdiction. When he arrived at his workplace, the second shooter of the convention was lurking around the building, trying to find a way in to destroy any evidence against him. That was when Horatio followed him, and the suspect in question held him at gun point, ordering him to escort him into the lab. Horatio told him about the squirrel, and how he had fought the man until he got up and ran. That was when Horatio had chased him to the park. He called his young CSI to tell him about the shooting, and that was how the police officer ended up in front of him.

Thanks Christine but actually it's getting even more blurry, the CSIs froim miami were supposed to take a fly , and now you are telling me they are in Miami, which means they took a fly from miami to miami...this thing is bugging me.

[Yes, about that part I'm confused too. I was told by more than one person that the convention was taking place in Miami, and we had jurisdiction over the case, which was why we needed a Horatio. I didn't understand that the CSIs were to be flying from Miami to Miami either.. I just think there is a lot of miscommunication, and some people are straying away from the topic without realizing it.]

First of all, Loud and clear, Sissi, posted as I promised in the PM I sent you.

Second of all, yeah, a lot of things should have been made clearer in the beginning, like where the convention was taking place. The story really took off in directions that were different than what was originally laid out and discussed.

Anyhow, back to the story...

Ryan approached Greg and asked him where Delko was. Greg was about to say he was on the way to the lab, bringing the bullet they found in the wall and the casing left behind the statue. However, Ryan got a phone call saying his boss had been shot. Greg called Delko and gave him a heads-up about the situation. Then he called Sara. "Hey, Sara, it's Greg. Just wanted to let you know there's been another shooting. At the crime lab. Ryan and Delko's boss--I think Ryan said his name was Horatio? Anyway I just wanted to let you know and to make sure you're okay. Be careful, alright? Talk to you soon. Bye." Greg hung up the phone and went to find Catherine to notify her of the situation.

Horatio escaped the paramedics long enough to call his old friend and colleague, Mac. He sincerely hoped that Mac's man wasn't too badly hurt, but wondered how someone could survive so many shots to the chest. Mac finally answered his phone after several rings.

"Mac, this is Lieutenant Horatio Caine, of MDPD. How is your guy doing?"

"Nice talking to you again" Mac replied. "He's out of surgery and stable, but still pretty weak...and apparently this case is connected to a recent one we just dealt with. Listen, since your team has jurisdiction, I'll get on the line to my people back in New York and have them fax your people the information." Mac wasn't terribly fond of cases like this; multiple jurisdictions were always tricky to deal with.

Sara got a call from Greg immediately after she got off the phone with Catherine. "Another shooting? Horatio--you mean Horatio Caine? How badly is he hurt? I'm still here at the hospital with the New York team, so I'm okay. Thanks, I appreciate it. You stay safe too. Later, bye." She turned to the rest of the New York team. "There's been another shooting. Horatio Caine was shot in the park near the crime lab, I don't know the extent of his injuries," Sara said. Just then Mac's phone rang and it was Horatio Caine.
Sara wished she could just go back to the convention center and be with Greg, to relax and get this whole thing over with.

Sheldon looked at Mac then Danny as he started to calm down. He was still scaried that the second person who attacked him would come, find him and 'finish him off'. He looked at Mac and Danny and said, "I'd feel safer with one of you staying making me feel better."

**Hope this clers up some confusion.**

*Wait, now it's in Atlanta? :eek: We've been sending stuff to the Miami lab for processing for how many pages now? This is getting more confusing by the minute.*

Sara ducked her head back into Sheldon's room. "I think I'm done here for the night. I'm going to head back to the convention center and report to Catherine, see if she needs me anywhere else. Sheldon I hope you feel better soon. Goodnight, everyone," Sara said. She leaves the hospital and arrives back at the convention center. She spots Catherine and asks her if there's anything else that Catherine wants her to do.

Catherine looks at Sara and said, "How good are you at doing molds? It appears the second shooter is around. I'm temped to telling the news about this. Yet, if we do the public will start panicing." Catherine said to the younger woman. "Why don't you go get some rest."

(What? I was told it was in Miami, that was why Miami had jurisdiction over the case.. I'm so confused. Everyone has been sending stuff to the Miami lab.. Can someone please PM me and let me know what is going on?)

((This is why I haven't posted. I don't know where anything is. I don't know where I am. I don't know where I'm supposed to be. I don't know where anyone else is. I'm so confused. I heard at first that the convention was in Miami. Now it's in Georgia?))
