Wow. This one was crazy difficult :lol: Just to check, I know the regular LIMS had a round where people eliminated could compete to get back in. Will the Misc. LIMS have a similar round?

I might do one if it needs to be done in order to have an even amount of participants ;)

Just a reminder you have until tomorrow (midnight actually ... gmt -4) to get your icons in!! I'm missing a good amount of icons!

I'm sending messages for those of you who haven't gotten them in, just a reminder that if you're unable to enter an icon you must pm me with a message saying that you're using your free pass, other wise you will be removed from the participant list. However if I don't receive these before midnight tomorrow, if needed I can change the deadline.

MISC LIMS 1 Challenge 3 "Bases" Voting!

Voting Rules: (Please read)
~ Absolutely anyone may vote! You don't have to be an 'expert' ;)
~ Vote for the Top 2 of least quality, and the Top 2 of best quality.
~ Votes for least quality Must have a reason, or they will not be counted. Reasons for best quality are strongly encouraged

(the following examples may have been "borrowed" from other sources)

Good Examples:
34: Text is oddly placed
50: Icon is over sharpened
62: Image is too blurry

Poor Examples:
96: I don't like the colour (personal preference)
52: Tiny text/decorative brushes are unreadable (it's supposed to be that way)

least:
7- the blue coloring is a little overpowering, and takes the focus off of the other elements(like the use of light textures, which i love)
2-it's a bit dark, maybe a little too much contrast.

best:
8- i love the coloring and the softness of the background, and the very subtle clone in the background. i love how you did that and then highlighted it with a light texture.
14- i love the coloring and the splash of red, is beautiful.

Least:
6- He looks too grainy and the texture overwhelms him a bit and looks a bit kitschy. I also feel like the inner glow on the icon may draw the attention away from his face.
15- The black in her hair looks grainy, though I like the effect with the ceiling/purpleness.

Best:
10- cool effect, simple and understated
1- nice effect and well executed; very aesthetically well done.
