You know, I've found that icons that I know nothing about are generally the icons that turn out looking better for challenges :lol:
The next challenge will go up Friday and entries will be received until the following Friday
I personally don't want to give too much input into the decision making, because for me the challenge is to do something that I might not ordinarily do...and for that to happen, someone else needs to force me into something I might not pick as a choice.

*whistles* I just have to say, I'm all for the idea of Green Day bases. Just being like a huuuuuge fan and all... Or maybe if you asked the participants who their favourite bands were so we all get to do something we like, probably too much work though. A mixture would be good... and I love Green Day.
Oh and I like the base idea. As long as people aren't voting on cropping, I think it'd be great. It's a challenge because we have to work with the crop we're given.
Aaand I definitely don't think you should give less screen caps. This is a miscellaneous challenge so it's obviously going to be harder to give everyone what they want. Just giving more screen caps is one way to make everyone happier, except those who don't like this idea, obviously.

I think that as long as Nikki puts in the voting instructions about the cropping not to be considered a factor in the voting it should be fine.
I think the idea here is to challenge everyone in this. A challenge is a test of your skills and by entering in this your are testing your skills as artists. I look forward to seeing what people will do with the cap

yeah, i second what everyone said earlier. it's your challenge, and you should do whatever you want to us. to me, it sounds great and i'm kicking myself that i didn't think of it when i was running LIMS.
