She is still not married (yippee). The Denver Post (3/30/07) stated that she was in Aspen to attend her sister's wedding. She is still with Blair as far as I know.
I got bored and decided to bump this one up. It was nice to have Valera in the first post-strike episode.
Just a few random facts:
Valera has been in more episodes than any other lab tech.
She's also been in more episodes than Stetler, Yelina, Speed, and Natalia.
So I want to know, when does she become a regular?
Ah, I think she has to have a few more dead relatives, emotional connections to crimes and DNA mix-ups before she can become a fully fledged member of the CSI lab team[/sarcasm]. She'll get there.
Valera's also been in more episodes than Jake ad it technically, the 'oldest' member of the CSI lab team, now that Coop's out (was she around before Cooper? I forget).
Aww, I've missed her, I hope she'll be around more, she has such depth and they could do so much with her. She's funny, but she could have a lot more going on for her too.
^ Yep, she was around before Cooper. She showed up in 'Blood Brothers', season two premiere right when Tyler was still around.
And yeah, hell might freeze over before she becomes a regular. It's a shame too, because CSI and NY now have lab techs as regs, so why not Miami? They could use that extra flare of nerdiness. I'm sure Boti would have no qualms with it either, heh.
