I agree. Although, I though she should be a regular long ago. Now there's an even better reason, though.
I'm going to bump this thread up. Mostly, I just wanted to say how great it is that she's been in so many episodes so far this season Granted, she still gets the about the same amount of screen time in each episode, but at least she's there :lol:
Yes it's such a shame she gets so little screen time cause she's a great asset to the show. I think that Natalia should be given more field work and processing of evidence other than DNA so that Valera can have all the DNA processing. Plus a Valera centered episode wouldn't hurt .
I'd love to see a Valera-centered episode Miami is the only of the CSI shows that doesn't have a Labrat in the main titles. Vegas has Hodges (and Greg before that), and now NY has Adam. Valera has been around longer than any other techs in Miami... I think you know where I'm going with this
I agree, Valera should be in the main titles. She's been on Miami since the beginning of s2. She is a valuable part of the Miami crime lab. Just out of curiosity, does anyone know why it is often suggested that Valera likes porn? I've seen it mentioned in different Miami forums and also in several fan fics.
Honestly, IDK the real reason why they say she likes porn. I got the impression everything started with 2x24 -"Innocent" when she & Speedle were investigating on a porn actress. I guess so, I'm not sure why. As you may have noticed, the title of this thread is "Blond is the new porn" which is something completely different from what I said before. In this show, this girl has changed her colour of the hair so often, that almost in every episode (at least in the last 3 season) she got a different hairstyle & colour. Now as you can see she's blonde, so blonde is "fashion"...it's the new porn. That's the sense of the title of this thread Otherwise, IDK what you're referring to I really enjoy her character, always and I want her in every episode just because she's cheeful, she cheers everyone up in that lab.
Nice to see other people posting in here I think that the whole porn thing just comes from various comments Valera has made throughout the show. Makes her seem like a bit of a... wild child or something :lol: And her bad jokes always make me laugh

^^ The title might have something specifically to do with the quote Valera said in 'Innocent' to Calleigh maybe? "Porn's the new martini!" Just a thought. I agree though, 'Innocent' is probably where the porn stuff began because of a few quotes from the episode. Calleigh: Valera says she has her own aisle at the video store. I love VAlera......The actor Boti Bliss does a great job...I love her oh did i mention that?? Anyways, i just found that she was abbey in one of the charmed eppys..lol i dint recognize her until i saw her filmography
Yes she was in charmed....Abbey was the one hu kidnapped prue because she was jealous of her and stuff..i think the episode was sight unseen, u can watch the epi on youtube if it doesnt ring a bell I remembered and then i was like, yeah she was boti bliss, she looked different
