Marg on Justin Bieber

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

Marg, I love thee. That is all.

She's the only member of the cast that actually says what they think. CSI isn't going to be the same without her :(

Just saw this reported on a news channel this morning. Same quotes about him being an amateur actor and a brat. Nothing like an early morning Bieber Burn. :rommie:

Kudos to her. I'm sorry, but I'm tired of all these tween/teen stars that cater to twelve year olds just having roles given to them.
You want a acting job, work for it like everyone else.

While I agree with you wholeheartedly, the reality is that this kind of stunt casting has been going on in TV Land for a long time now. It's the same as music studios assembling these prepackaged bands and "artists" (who seem to be getting younger and younger), to appease the masses. While pop media have always seemed to have these, it used to be they were balanced out by successful acts with genuine talent and ability.

I think what we're seeing now, and what is growing so tiresome, is a greater preponderance of no-talent acts getting the green light because they have "the look" that's been identified by marketers as necessary to succeed in our video age. Because marketing is driving the business, less and less of what is artistically/creatively driven is making it in. TV is feeding off the music, film and gaming industries (as well as cannibalizing itself) to find anything that can give shows a bump in the ratings. That's a big part of why so much of what's on TV nowadays feels derivative.

By the way, here's Bieber's response (which, in the days of Watergate, would've been called a "non-denial denial"): http://blog.zap2it.com/pop2it/2011/...nbergers-brat-comment-killemwithkindness.html

I remember hearing about the closet-locking incident back when they were filming the episode - I thought it was Bieber himself that tweeted it or mentioned it in an interview or something.

I LOVE her!!! :D This was hysterical! Had me laughing my a** off!

Whoever said it before is 100% right. Marg's the only one to speak the truth with no worry of consequences. But seriously he's a real brat. He ruined the premiere for me :p

Yea he should keep his comments nice and to a minimum. He wouldn't stand a chance against Marg!

This is, by far, my favorite take on it.

Justin Bieber turns the other tweet

Maybe "CSI" star Marg Helgenberger figured she could go on French radio and say whatever she wanted: George Eads sometimes smells of cheese. Eric Szmanda takes unreasonably long smoke breaks. Jorja Fox forged the Obama birth certificate. Whatever. It's French radio. Nobody will ever know!

But when she dropped the dime on former "CSI" guest star Justin Bieber being a "brat" who locked a producer in a closet and shoved his fist through a cake, well, word got out.
