Ok, I've just read Melina's interview and what she said really left me like... "no, please, you can't not really think that!".

There is a point on the interview where she is asked what she thinks about the Mac/Stella relationship, and she is "I think Mac and Stella are like brother and sister...". No way!. Luckily she solves it by adding that there is a chance for them to evolve into something else, "maybe in season ten...", she says. Again, no way! I sure can't wait that much longer!

On a brighter note from Melina's interview...

CSI Files: Getting back to Stella and Mac's friendship: they're such different characters. What do you think it is that draws the two together?

Kanakaredes: I think it's respect. There's this very strong, serious character in Mac--he was an ex-marine and he has a militant, black and white, get this done [attitude]--and then there's Stella, who's kind of nurturing. There's that perfect sort of fit. I love the way they think.

Oh, wow! The interview with Melina is great. And I so love, Love, LOVE this practical joke she is talking about. Gary and her must be real good friends. So nice to know! :) The way she talks about him shows really how close they are. Lovely.

Maybe she is a bit spoiled by that when saying she sees Mac and Stella as brother and sister. :p Maybe she is here adapting from real life to the show and that's the reason she isn't really expecting to have a romantic development there. ;) I just hope TPTB aren't listening to this and give us more sparkling moments full of SMACKness.

Joking aside... I think it is funny that obviously everybody from the actors over TPTB to us are on the same page when it comes to SMACK. We all feel like: no rush in its development, tiny moments of non-verbal understanding, closest relationship on the show, she has him to calm her down, he has her to be told off, them being beyond a great friendship. :D :D :D

Come on guys, isn't this like the best news ever? The Love is out there! And there is hope that eventually Mac and Stella will find it. ;) :devil:
 
I read the interview too. I love Melina. She is so my favorite actress! (We just cotta fix the poltics) completely ignore that.:p

On the whole 'maybe in season 9 or 10' thing, fortunately for us, Melina ain't one of the writers. :devil:

After reading Melina's response to the Mac/Stella thingy, I'm now thinking "Grr! Where's the stuck elevator when you need it?!".

The gutter is expanding and more brain cells tumble into it like rocks from a widening canyon during an earthquake.

Hahaha, that's my point. Lindsey may have put on a tie on Mac but Stella always took it off! Of course, things start small -- first the ties... and then the dress shirt... and then the under shirt.... :devil:

Mac's wardrobe.... hmmm.... Season1 - ties. Season2 - no ties. Season3 - wears a t-shirt once in a while. Season4 - BLACK shirt and leather jacket!

When I was reading it, I was hearing Melina and not Stella actually. :lol: Hey, Sara and Grissom became canon after 7 seasons. I'd wager if Jorja didn't have to leave, they would stretch it out longer.

I just adore SMacked! There are truly no words for it!:) I keep telling my mother that when I'm older and I'm a Stella' position, I wanna friend like Mac Taylor. She totally agrees with me. My mom is not a woman to search out love in these shows and when she catches on to the chemistry between these two, you know there is something there.

Lol, I have to say...I just read Melina's interview too and my first thought was that she was totally trying to throw us off the Smacked trail! :lol: I mean seriously y'all think about it, the first excuse EVERYONE uses when they are trying to throw you off a romantic trail is that they and whoever they are linked with are just like "brother and sister"....Melina honey I love you and I think you are an amazing actress, but I think you need to go rewatch a few of those eppy's hon...cuz any moment where you and Mac are facing eachother, letting alone looking at eachother, not to mention the gazing (yes GAZING) into eachother's eyes and reading eachother's minds and all the touches, sorry Melina babe, but there's nothing brother/sister about that! And trust me, I have two brothers who I'm close to even, I know! :lol:

Call it what you want...Smacked is in love and whether it's now or in Season 10 they belong together! (Although I really hope it's before Season 10! :lol: )
