Who's to say that they didn't make plans afterwards? They were on the subway with Sid, but they could have easily went somewhere together afterwards. Maybe Mac planned on teaching her how to play the bass if we're keeping with the music theme.

Apparently there's a LOT of D/L this season and we are all quite angry about that...but so what? We also have lots of positive aspects that season: Fireman and she-nit (btw. I saw that first knight movie with Julia Ormond lately and it was totally akward for me to watch) disappeared after ONE episode..com'on that HAS to be a sign both fo their possible love interests got "blown away" by the smacked hotness...so at least I'm optimistic. Maybe we'll have a flashback scene or another fight and then a make up scene...
the next episode appears to be quite Flack-centered, but it could also mean another possible conflict between Mac and Stella, maybe Mac or Stella defeating Flack - i think that is very likely to happen becaue tptb seem to have s thing for smacked conflicts these days....
I'd also love to see Mac going on some kind of Marine event, maybe an anniversary or something. Stella would be like when she sees him in his uniform, i think she is really into that. Or maybe Mac needs a date for that event and he'd ask Stella :adore:
While watching a bunch of season boxes (CSI:NY and others) during the winter-holidays I got a great idea for a smacked scenario.
Imagine:
Stella has to do some investigation on the Hudson river (we seen that few times before, right?), maybe something on the recent plane crash .
Than she'd slip somehow and fall into the water. Few minutes later Mac would come to look after her and check what she found. He'd realized, of course that she has gone. He'd be worried sick and finf out that she fell into the river. Then we'd get wet Mac to see, he'd jump into the water, pull her out and do CPR on her.....*starts daydreaming*

Okay, so I'm Geometry today rolleyes and we're going over the whole what makes a trapezoid a trapezoid right? Well, my teacher's phone goes off (I'm home schooled but we do this whole co-op thing where we all meet and the moms teach) and of course she answers it. She starts saying like "What?! Are you serious?" And I still wasn't completely interested. She kinda likes to over react. Anyway, she hangs up, looks at her son, and says "Did you know he's leaving?" And Matt was like yeah. And everyone was like "WTH?" (But of course you can't say that) And THEN she said "My son is gong into the marines. And they want him to leave today." And I was like ":devil:" I looked at my friend and mouthed "Marines are hot." And she was joining along and was like ":luvlove:" And then my teacher went on to explain how her son wanted to go and flush out Bin laden and how we would see him on TV as the American hero for catching the bad guy. And I was like 'that's awesome!" But there is no way that I am getting hooked with the family, because Matt is the most annoying kid in the world!:klingon:

Hey everyone! Sorry it's been so long. Been so busy. Update on my condition: surgery is pretty much inevitable. It'll be a 10-15cm cut down my spine at the small of my back and they're going to insert a steel rod and some screws and stuff. It means 5-7 days in hospital and at least 6 weeks before I'm back to normal life. Also, university and college offers came out. I got accepted into a theatre school and then got told it cost much more than they initially told me, so I can't afford it, and now I've been accepted into a policing degree so I can become a police officer if I want. I don't know whether or not I'll accept yet. Anyways, onto smacked.

Yeah, Mac is good wet but when they're together and they're wet it takes it to a whole other level :lol:
Also, I watched "The Ride-In" today (which has the most beautiful smacked scene at the start when Stell tells Mac about the HIV and he quotes her greek) and in it, Stella gave Sid CPR. Her only hesitation was because of the HIV. I'm positive Mac would have no hesitations about administering CPR to her. I'm pretty sure he'd hold her hand the whole way to the hospital as well.

Oh and someone mentioned something about how good Mac looks in a uniform? I think it's something that's just built into women - we all seem to love a man in uniform! Can't help it lol. It's natural I guess. And Stella has all that eye-candy every day! I'm jealous :lol:
I've been watching more and more of s3 though and I can't help but notice how many amazing moments there are. When Stell comforts Mac about Reed, when Mac finds Stella at the bar because she "sounded a little rattled on the phone", the HIV scare ... and I haven't quite finished the season yet :lol: I can't understand why it's taking the writers so long to get them together!

Anyway, I wish I could find that clip of the camera scanning Mac's office from the last episode. Gary was definitely the designer of Mac's office. If he has pictures of marines, the American flag and a pictures of Reagan, Gary definitely designed it. I wander how many times Stella sneaks into his office just to take a look at his picture.
Do you think Mac would say anything if he caught Stella holding his picture of him as a marine?

Oh Vave, now if Mac found Stella looking at a photo of him when he was in the Marine's I don't think he'd actually mind too much... Stella and him are so close, that I don't think he'd find it odd... I think that if we had a scene like that, they might begin to reminice about the past, and how things change over time... I dunno, but I can just see a scene between them going like that... If it happened between anyone else, I'd think it was strange, but with Mac and Stella, because they are so close, and have such a deep relationship, I don't think it would be strange for either of them... :adore: Well, that's my 2 cents... :lol:

I also think there wouldn't be any problems with Stella looking at som of Mac marine pics. I mean she's the closest to him plus they hang in his office an are practically open to everyone. I can imagine a scene where Stel goes into Mac's office to talk to him 'bout a case or something. He wouldn't be there and she'd spend the time by checking out his pics, then he'd enter the room, walk over to her and ask something like 'You like them' and she'd go like 'Oh yeah - you definetly look very hot in them'...and then well you can imagine you r own ending xD...sorry I'm thinking sideways today :devil: I'M so looking forward to any new episodes because , to be honest all the season 5 cases were really good - I just hope ep will finish their storylines, like Adam's and Stella' because those are potential smacked storylines too =) Oh and what happened to Ella??? =)

Awww, that would be adorable. And the thing is, the writers could so easily write something like that into an episode, without it seeming unnatural. It would seem completely natural actually, just so Mac and Stella. I can just imagine her dusting off his shirt, straightening it (really just wanting the excuse to touch him:devil and him looking at her with that little smile he has.:adore:
And you know what makes it even cooler? Is that Gary narrates all of those Army commercials. I don't think he narrates the Marine ones, but if he could he would. Gary is so Awesome. The writers can put all the D/L they want in. The thing is, IMO, they have to actually write these D/L storylines so they are very obviously D/L. The baby storyline, their fights in s4, Danny pursuing her in s3. I guess that's because D/L is canon. But still, they seem to make the D/L stuff really obvious, whereas with Smacked, it's just natural. I think this goes back to what Debbie was saying about the way the characters take on their own lives outside of the writing. Smacked has done the same thing. The chemistry between them and the love between them comes across in so many scenes, no matter what other relationships or conflicts the writers create. Mac and Stella look like a couple just walking to a crime scene together!
Another thing is, the writers are throwing D/L at us, and trying to make us think they're in love. I just don't see it. I think they're attracted to and care about each other, but they make me think of two teenagers who were in a casual relationship/liked one another, slept together, and then got pregnant. In contrast, Mac and Stella seem to me to be two mature adults who have been in love for a long time, and just haven't realized it or had the courage to tell one another yet. They fit together in a way Danny and Lindsay don't, and their relationship has a realness and a depth and a seriousness to it that Danny's and Lindsay's doesn't. I think if Anna hadn't become pregnant in RL, EP would have ended D/L and had each character move on into different relationships. Of course, this is just my opinion.

He would hold her hand on the way to the hospital. I am certain Mac and Stella are each other's 'next of kin/contact in case of emergency' in their personal/medical files, because they have no one else. Mac probably changed his from Claire to Stella after 9/11, especially as she was there so much for him at that time.

I think your point supports my earlier one about Smacked having a life outside of the writers. In s3, Mac's supposed to be with P., but there are so many Smacked moments! I think the writers are maybe subconciously writing Smacked without knowing it!:lol: Either that, or Smacked and Gary and Melina's chemistry just cannot be defeated by all EP's efforts. I mean, do they really think they can stop Marine!Mac and Rambo!Stella.:lol:
I am sure Mac and Stell will get together eventually! It took Mulder and Scully 9 years, Grissom and Sara....it was like 6 or 7 years. On the West Wing, it took two couples who had chemistry from the very start of the show (Josh/Donna, C.J./Danny) 7 years to get together. I was watching the last eps of West Wing yesterday, and all these couples I'd noticed great chemistry between throughout the show were finally getting together, and I was thinking 'When are EP gonna do this with Mac and Stella?'

Last night wasn't bad. It might be the SMacked side of me speaking, but whever Mac was talking to Hawkes or Danny about evidence. He seemed like Mac on a case. Whenever Stella walked in, I dunno, his demeanor would change. Like w/ H and D it was like "Okay. Keep working on it." With Stella he had this "Oh really." kinda look. I dunno.
