Mac/Stella #14 - Cause you can't fight the inevitable!

I don't know if I should like the new episode or not, it was good indeed, but smacked wise not really btw. Stella kissed the wrong one...:lol: What I liked about it was especially Flack's and Angell's conversation about their relationship it made me think of Mac and Stella. Because [[maybe]] they are keeping it quiet so that no one learns from them actually being together..and of cou rse they are way professional than Don and Jess =). Maybe this season is going to be about close ups...well i have an idea for another one^^.

In contrast, Mac and Stella seem to me to be two mature adults who have been in love for a long time, and just haven't realized it or had the courage to tell one another yet.

I totally agree with you on that. Obviously Mac and Stella have know each other for a very long time and they take their time, which is I think extremely good becasue if they rushed like D/L there would be no way to keep the friendship alive and I think if D/L break up they'll hate each other - if i Mac and Stella ever broke up - they'd be so able to handle their relationship!

I'd love to see Mac and Stella going on some kind of NYPD event or one of D/Ls wedding parties or whatsoever. That'd be soooo cute...:adore:

From what I've read, it seems this episode was, in shipper terms, Don and Jess's episode. Someone on here said that after the writers give us a Smacked episode, they tend to pull back, and I think that's what they're doing now.
I am sure we will at least get Smacked in the finale, because all four finales have had Smacked in them, even when Mac and Stella were dating other people. I think the writers know that the finales need to be good, and that part of what always makes them good is great Stella/Mac scenes. Their relationship, no matter whether you are a Smacked fan or not, is one of the core elements of the show after all. I am sure we will get some great Smacked stuff before then, though.:bolian: If not, the lions/sharks must be getting pretty hungry....:lol::devil:
There a lot of 'new' relationships happening this season - Danny and Lindsay's 'new' relationship ('cause of BabyDL), Don/Jess....but no new relationships for Mac and Stella (the Fireman and She Nit don't count), because they already have their perfect partner - each other.:adore:

That was me MacsLady Although I noticed we are getting more and more scenes since the beginning of the season which started out slow. Also the second half of season four really picked up as time went on!! Maybe this is becoming the plan as well. Although as I said, they "Backed off " the eppie they still gave us a little bit. The more and more I watch them I really have to say their comfort level with each other is becoming much more apparent . I think as well that they are keeping their personal relationship with each other exactly that "personal" and quiet! The writers are doing a great job because when you watch them however they play out you can see the ease in which they can make the changeover! When you watch these last few good eppies this season invision if you will, that at the end of the day they just go with each other....it seems quite feasible!

Hello smacked family!

Hope you are all keeping well. I've been obsessing over my other fave couple so please don't think that I have left you all.

I was disappointed last night because I was really hoping that we would get a Stella comforting Mac scene last night. It could have even been Mac & Stella comforting Flack. Alas, my shipper heart was slightly wounded and what sucks even more is that there is no new eppie next week.

That episode was sadly not that smacked. But it was cute how Stella said her own little joke and Mac smiled . Unfortunately she kissed Flack and she should only stick to kissing Mac. hahaha! I guess they are keeping their relationship on the down low and not mentioning in the actual episodes like Lori K is suggesting.

Yes, there wasn't a Smacked episode but there were promising scenes. They worked together (inside Mac's office, the Conference Room and even in the hallway). Actually one of my fav scenes is the lovely scene at the hallway . They seemed to be "feeding" each other's intelligence because they solved the case ...there and just talking...! (when they were walking along the whole hall):lol:

I like how both of them were worried about Don. Stella was pissy and Mac helped her to cool down saying they just needed to stay focus on the case

let's say i'm not a Fiesta Fan (if we had Twins Stella i could think about it:lol: ) but her scene with Don was FANTASTIC as Donnie said. She was worried and she showed her support in the way she could

I need to say this. Anybody has to find out about Melina's contract sending a message to Ausiello or to TV Guide Guys because it's NOT casual we have so many tender and sweet scenes among Stella and her Lab Family.
She helped Mac (Veritas), Sid (Page Turner) (Adam (Enough), Sheldon (Help) and Donnie (Rush to Judgement). And we know she will there for Danny and Lindsay as well

Good morning everyone! I had planned on rewatching Rush to Judgement last night but the damn TV stopped working on the and the cable box wouldn't work in my room. Needless to say it made a bad day even worse.

I did get the vibe that Debbie was talking about between Mac & Stella. They play off of each other so well. I was mad that there were no longing looks but the little ones count too.

So now that Flack & Angell are keeping their relationship under wraps there is a chance that Mac & Stella could be doing the same. I mean you shouldn't bring your relationship and problems to work. Mac & Stella can be professional and still have a very hot relationship, dontcha think?

Off to work...hopefully it will go faster than yesterday.

About Melina's contract I think it goes until 2012 not sure though, I read it in a interview couple months ago - (btw. She said the lovely smacked thing about season 9 or 10) so i don't think Stella's gonna leave soon, maybe she will be in danger which would be good - smacked wise of course.
The thing with the episode I realzied that too, what bugs is that she was there for Don in a way I love way more than the way she was for Mac. ( Maybe it's their way to keep the relationship quiet). What I lso noticed is that we had lots of charater-centered episodes lately i HOPEwe'll have a smacked one soon sometime.

:lol: Karu, I think if Adam found out that Mac and Stella were in a relationship, he might let it slip to someone accidentally, I don't think he'd ever do it on purpose, because he's so scared of Mac, but we all know what poor little Adam quite often 'puts his foot in it' and slips up... So I don't think he'd do it intentionally, but Adam being Adam might let it slip... :lol:

I haven't seen the latest ep yet, I'm going to watch it tonight when I get home from work, I'm quite intrigued by this ep, even if it isn't a Smacked one, I'm intrigued to see how the whole storyline with Flack works out...

but hey i like the scenes with the nit and stella. maybe the nit will be more friends with stella than mac, since the case will involve a human sex traffic ring, and apparently both stella and the nit are very "passionate" for their causes. who knows. maybe mac will flirt with the nit, and after that, realize she is as stubborn as stella (for trying to hard to solve the human traffic case), and maybe, just maybe, this similarity between the two of them wil make mac realize he loves stella...
but hey i'm just sayin....

I'm scared of the nit, unless she gives us some serisouly good jealousy scenes... :drool:

Stella sometimes gets too emotional about a case, and Mac is there to remind her the evidence is important too. They represent the two important aspects of a case - evidence (how the killer did it, and when) and emotion (why they did it) - and both have helped the other come to a more 'equal' way of seeing cases. Mac is much better now with the emotional side of cases, particularly in relation to his team, and I believe it's Stella who helped him become better. And Mac helps her out when she gets too emotionally involved in a case (Open and Shut for example).
Their great partnership is one reason I don't think the show would work as well if one of them left and the other stayed. I don't think that will happen, given how close Gary and Melina are, but if it did, I just can't imagine them working with anyone else.

Hehe, Mac is the only one who can calm a pissy Stella down. It's cute they were both there for their best friend Don. Stella did the 'womanly' thing by kissing him on the cheek and checking he was okay, then Mac did the 'manly' thing, inviting Flack to go drink beer and watch hockey! They are like a married couple helping out a friend who is having a rough time.

Me too. I don't think the show would be nearly as good as it is if Gary, Melina or Eddie left. They are the three who keep me watching the show, and who make even the poorer episodes enjoyable.

I love that idea. It is probably very hard for him to think about Stella almost dying after what happened to Claire. If she gets in danger with Diakos, Mac's going to be going nuts, like he was with Reed.

I know Gary's runs until 2011, but I am sure he will extend it a little if Melina's is till 2012. William Peterson from Vegas extended his contract a few times before he quit. I just can't imagine the show with just Mac or just Stella. I am sure that won't happen though.

Let's say-->

Last episode of Season4---> they are learning and they are studying themselves as newly roomates. They enjoy the novelty and they feel at home when they are together. This goes in special for my Stella because she never shared a room with anyone (not in long terms i mean)

The next level "Living together-The Greatest adventure"--->:lol: certainly once the honeymoon was over they learnt their flaws as rommies. Maybe Stella leaves the bathroom as a Military Facility recently abandoned:lol: and Mac probably makes annoying sounds when he has his chicken soup:lol:

Now i think they are in another stage "Falling for you again and again" when they have learnt a lot about their virtues and flaws as roomates but they choose to be together because it's nice and good and natural and they really ant to stay in that way

it's a nice thought anyway:thumbsup:

I think it was my dear Gio who told us months ago producers planned originally to create a triangle with Stell, Jane and Mac. You can tell it was likely considering the three of them worked together very often

ps: Rach, i'm fraid AXN won't air CSI NY on february 4th. They didn't show any promo yet and last year they started with LV and Miami several days before than NY. Actually "The Shield" was re scheduled to Friday 13 th:scream: so there is a chance we won't get the new season in 15 days:scream: (i can watch it online but somehow i enjoy more in my tv:thumbsup:

The killer was portrayed by George Newbern, the sweet guy who was Melina's former on screen love in Providence (her former drama show)
