*Runs up to hug you all tightly* Thank you very much! *Sobs*. Those helped alot. I've been very horrible nowadays. My uncle, who is very close to me passed away 2 days ago

Asprine--I'm so sorry to hear about that. **hugs**

I'm here everyone, trying to get my head focused on what next step to take in my life. Thanks for making me feel so loved. :adore:

I've missed so many SMACK moments because I recently started watching NY, even though I had caught it a few times before.

I think everyone on the team wants to see them together, maybe Angell will ask Stella about Mac while they are working together (hey a girl can dream right) :D

Off to work, well kinda. I'll pop in later.

Nice to have you back with us Asprine Sweetie, but I'm so sorry to hear about your uncle. *Big hugs and lots of love* I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Oh, my word Lilou, it's so nice to have you back with us, especially when you come bearing such a cute little gift for us all...
That is so cute, they look really happy, I hope that means that their arguement will be resolved within the ep... :adore: The way they are leaning towards one and other, makes them look like a couple who are totally in love... Gosh, it's so darn cute... Thanks so much Lilou hun. :adore:

Sorry to hear about your Uncle my condolences dear.

LILOU:
Thank you for the picture! It helps with the anticipation and doesnt make the wait seem as long!

Did you ever notice when there are pictures of Mac and Stella or scenes with Mac and Stella and they have other people with them , that it is like the other people are not even there and Mac and Stella are ALWAYS next to each other???!!!

i couldn´t make it the last days to come here, i visited a friend for a few days
now i just tried to run over the last 6(!) pages and i hope i didn´t miss something important or some news! *please let there be good news!!!*

ahh before i forget that: happy new year everyone. hope everyone had a few great days!

macstellacop.jpg

oh come on!! they are so made for each other! aren`t they the perfect counterpart(?) to eachother?

Did you ever notice when there are pictures of Mac and Stella or scenes with Mac and Stella and they have other people with them , that it is like the other people are not even there and Mac and Stella are ALWAYS next to each other???!!!
and there`s always this special atmosphere, these special communication!! and so often they are so close to each other and suddenly one of the team members must interupt-ahhh! that`s always so unfair cause in my head they already utilize the private atmopsphere...... did someone mentioned something about officesex .............no?..... sorry, just a simple thought:devil:

Omg That's just what i'm talking about!! See? She's a very lonely person and has no one else in her life.
You know what EYEWITNESS?
You just triggered somthing in my mind....Remember after RND and at the end of the show they showed Stella walking the streets all alone? Maybe she called Mac up and took him up on his offer!!!!Melina herself said that "I snore" scene was one of her favorites maybe she was telling us somthing without "Telling us something!" Remember after that Stella became VERY comfortable with Mac even sitting on his desk!!! Maybe they ARE living together as friends right now TPTB could certainly write it in like that! AND maybe they are going out of there way to write them OOC this season so we dont catch on! I'm getting excited again!!!

I REALLY want to believe this theory, but i have just now reminded something :(: that scene from "The Triangle" when Mac disappears. Stella gets to him the next morning and asks him "where were you last night?" - I guess if they were living together indeed, they would have seen each other later at home, so she wouldn't need to ask that the next morning.
In the Gillian she-nit episode it was still daylight when they said goodbye, so there was the night shift theory, but in The Triangle they were both still working at night.

But i agree that she might have been back on RND, and changed her mind later and went to Mac's place, at least for the night. Or maybe she even spent some time there at Mac's and we just don't know yet. Or maybe she still spends time at Mac's every now and then and we don't know about it yet. If her appartment is fumigated for instance, she would have to spend the night somewhere else. ;) Or if there was a huge leak on the ceiling, just over her bed and over her couch and over all the sleeping bags too , and it all got super wet, so that she had nowhere left to sleep. Anyways, she would have to go to Mac, as he's her only, her one, her everything!!
Oh there are so many subterfuges when you're in love. ;) :adore:

I don't know how do I go through tomorrow's funeral. You'll all be here for me right? :adore:

*tackles* You don't even need to ask... *gives big squeeze* I'm so sorry about your uncle... I know all to well what you're going through. You know we're here for you and we all send you best wishes. Come back soon!

Aiden, in the afterlife. Maybe even the SHE-Virus! Maybe that's why she broke up with him. She realized that Mac and Stella are perfect for each other and decided to stop getting in their way. Yes, it does pain me to put her in a good light...

Hmm, you do bring up a good point... no doubt Aiden would try and play matchmaker in the afterlife. I think we saw some attempts, but Mac and Stella just aren't cooperating. Methinks that Aiden needs to push them a little further in the right direction... any ideas?

And I think the SHE-Virus did notice that Mac and Stella are great for each other... *thinks back to the scene where Mac took her hand off his face when Stella walked in* Come to think of it, that scene was anything but subtle... there should have been a neon sign pointing there with SMACK INDUCED MOMENT in big green letters. Other than that, I can't think of any other reason why she left.

Hello, smacked family!

It is funny how many of us have been ill lately. We have shopping-luva with her back thing (hey, I am very glad your pain is less now, shopping.:bolian:) and then Debbie with the chicken pox, and now I have a sore throat and annoying cough. We all need some Smacked medicine. s1 is of course excellent medicine!

Asprine, so sorry to hear about your uncle. My thoughts are with you.
So you watched Tanglewood? I love how Sonny Sassone keeps trying to flirt with Stella, and she isn't interested at all and sees him as a total loser - he says he spends the salary Mac and Stella make in a year on drugs, and Stella says 'Yeah, i can tell!' Anyway, as the cop is taking Sonny away at the end of the interview, Sonny says that thing about Danny, and Mac looks pissed. Then Sonny makes a 'kissing' gesture at Stella, and Mac looks very pissed. He didn't like a creep like Sonny making a pass at Stella, looked like he wanted to smack him, excuse the pun.

Reed definitely needs to come back, he is cool and gives us more insight into Mac and also Smacked, and he's an interesting character just by himself.
I love the idea of Flack, Danny and Lindsay and Reed and Claire and Aiden all being Smacked shippers. I am sure Adam is one too - he loves Mac, he loves Stella, and despite his crush on Stella, I am sure he wants them to be together. If NY was a movie, Adam would be that kid who tries to get the two grown ups who are in love but don't realize it yet, together!

eyewitness, I like your theory on Stella only having Mac, and he only having her. I know they have other friends (Don and Angell for example) but Don and Angell and the others are more their 'work friends who they are very close to' than anything else. Outside of work, they certainly do only seem to go out together, just the two of them. Stella is the only woman who has been a constant in Mac's life since his wife died, in fact she is the only person who has been a constant in his life, because back in s1, Mac and Don were just colleagues rather than friends. And the same goes for Stella. No man has been in her life as long as Mac has. They are each other's first, last, and everything. We should lock EP in a room and make them listen to that song!

Debbie, I love your theory on the 'she looked back' line:bolian::devil:

Mac Taylor Quotient? Hmmm, I wants me a bit of that please!:drool::devil:

The Gary/Melina pic from tv.com is so cute. They look so happy and comfortable and natural together.

Jimenz, I LOVE LOVE LOVE your pic. First because I have been trying to find a decent size pic of Marine Mac for ages, and second because they look so great together. When they move in together, they should get one of those double photo frames and actually put those 2 photos in it. Both Stella and Mac have chosen jobs which mean putting yourself at risk to help and protect others - Stella became a cop, Mac a Marine and then a cop. It shows that even before they met, they both had similar ideals and desires (serve their country or city, help people, protect people, stop the 'bad guys') And they both look great in uniform.

You know we were talking about Mac saying Stella was 'tough'? Well, I just remembered that in Charge of this Post, Stella tells Dean Lessing 'Mac Taylor was a Marine. If anyone survived that blast, he did' or something like that. She was still concerned about him though - she went to check on him when the doc was treating him. And she did a similar thing in Veritas, when she said the thing about getting him on a chopper to the hospital. Funny how in earlier seasons, Mac and Stella showed their concern for each other more openly than they have this season. Unless, of course, they are deliberately hiding their concern to cover up the fact they are living together.:bolian:

yeah, that's what i meant by "ocupational" friends. with the other folks from CSI, they're more like the "coleagues" kind of friends, but mac is the only real friend (and god knows what else. Really, her first, her last, her everything!!)

They are each other's first, last, and everything. We should lock EP in a room and make them listen to that song!
Definetely! Over and over again until they finaly realize it.
Let's just hope they don't decide to actually play the song on CSI: NY, otherwise it's gonna end up looking like an "Ally McBeal" episode.

Unless, of course, they are deliberately hiding their concern to cover up the fact they are living together.:bolian:

Or pehaps they are so desperately in love with each other that they're actually fighting "on purpose", you know... as if trying to fall out of love or something (but obviously knowing that is so not going to happen... ;)) Both know their relationship would have quite a few bureaucratic consequences at work, and both maybe are trying to avoid it as much as possible... pushing it to the point it becomes inevitable :adore:

I can imagine Mac saying something like "Do you know how hard it is for me to be your boss and lo... and still be... so close to you at the same time?"
:drool::drool::drool::adore::adore::adore::adore:

EYEWITNESS:
I remember thinking the same thing when I watched that so after I read this earlier I went back and I watched it again. I found somthing interesting: When they were working the scene it was night. It was eluded too the fact that the crime took place around five, somtimes it takes several hours or longer to process a scene , Stella goes into Macs office the next morning and says "Mac Where the hell did you go last night I looked all over the street and I called you repeatedly, he proceeds to tell her he was with the FBI for about an hour than tells her about the missing evidence and how they accused him of taking it. Here is my theory:Stella cant find Mac she goes home (how else does she know he was NOT at his place?)she says she called him repeatedly, again she must have known he was NOT home. Meanwhile we know they were working late, then he was with the FBI so that took time, then he said he went looking to check the evidence and that took time. You know Mac, he doesnt stop once he starts something! And the final possible clue??? Mac was wearing the same dark blue shirt as he had on at the crime scene the night before, when Stella confronted him the next day!!! I went back and checked sooo Mac did not go home that night and thats how Stella knew he was not there because.... maybe she was!!!

In the Gillian she-nit episode it was still daylight when they said goodbye, so there was the night shift theory,

It was night and Stella was working the night shift. When Mac left it was night and when Stella went and asked Adam "What are you still doing here?" They gave the perception that Stella was working the late shift!

Aw Lori, whenever i need a conspiracy theorist, I'll remeber to give you a call, is that Ok? :) ;)
You have a good point, really. I didn't notice Mac was wearing the same shirt. And Stella did made it very good point in letting it clear she did indeed look for him. :luvlove: Maybe she called his home phone and since no one picked it she assumed he wasn't home either. But I want to believe in your theory. It's so much cuter and so smacked. OMG he was even wearing the same shirt! Good job Lori!

*goes to bed to dream about smacked*
'nite girls!

*Stretches my hand like one of the heroes in Fantastic Four then hugs you all tightly.* I'm home!!! I experienced something today. "The Cremate Machine!" It's sooo scary.. I went into the Staff Room, and checked out the Cremater. The Fire were burning strongly, heat could be felt from outside. My Uncle went in there..

Hohooo.. Before I watch Episode 14, Season 1? Is there any great Mac/Stella moments in there? :) That was fast.. 6 more days before another episode for Season 5.. Interesting.. and promising..

Will you be watching Blood ,Sweat and Tears or Tanglewood? Both are really good you will not be dissappointed! As far as SMACK moments if I remember there may be more in Blood, Sweat and Tears then Tanglewood but the stories are good!

Sorry for the double post BUT OHHH OOOHHH!!!

On CSI: NY it seemed Det. Mac Taylor was going to get some nookie with Julia Ormond's new character. Will she return?
A: Only for two more episodes on February 11 and 18th. Julia, who debuted as Deputy inspector Gillian Whitmore in November, agreed to a three-episode arc once producers crafted a story about human trafficking--a cause close to her. "It's fabulous how they wove it in," says Julia, who founded the Alliance to Stop Slavery and End Trafficing. "A Russian girl is brought into the forced sex trade... This has a poignant resonance to Gillian. But Mac (Gary Sinise) could be headed for heartache. Asked about a return beyond that, Julia says it "would give away whether I die." Uh-oh. "It's rare when my characters survive."
