Let's think about this scenario

We know Danny and Linsay are going to marry. We also know they are going to be there (Actually according to the script posted beforehand on internet they will be there and they will surprise Lindsay). We also know they will be happy....What if....... they get marry too You know. Something must happen on 5.15, 5.16 or 5.17 . Maybe they realize their love for each other:drool::drool::drool::drool::drool:

I'm suffering from SMACKED withdrawls. I attempted to watch CSI:NY on my DVR last night but it wasn't cooperating.

My CSI: NY Christmas wish is that we get a HOT makeup scene between Mac & Stella and she gives stalker a Stella smackdown

Aww, I love the idea of Mac and Stella getting married, but I doubt that that is something that's likely to happen anytime soon... They really need to spend sometime together as a couple... I mean, we already know they love eachother, but they need to show eachother their love. They need to spend time getting used to being together... Gosh, I'm rambling now... :lol: The prospect of them getting together makes me excited, which makes me ramble... :lol:

Hmm... Mac and Stella getting married also? haha I think that's too soon and close to the D/L thing ..but who knows... the writers have gone a bit off

I have a theory here...
About Mac's new boss. Maybe she might see Stella using her unorthodox methods? or maybe see how closely she works with Mac and sort of hold some underlying feelings for Stella? Could be both professional or personal. Then... you know how protective Mac is of Stella and defend her even though he might yell a little at her for doing what she did.
The boss then goes away because of whatever feelings?(-again it could be both professional or personal... or both) and throughout this, the new boss might have some dialogue hinting to Mac about Stella and his relationship ...and that also makes sense of the break up? lols

Well, it looks like we're going to be spending Christmas in the gutter here on the Smacked Thread.:devil::lol:

Tee, I think you make a very interesting point when you say all Mac's love interests have fails. Also interesting - so have all of Stella's, they've either failed (Frankie) been false/a trick (Drew) or turned out to be nothing (Fireman). Then for Mac, we have Rose - never went anywhere, Peyton - she left, Jordan - never went anywhere, and honestly I don't think Mac was interested, he was just being a sweet guy and helping her out with her ex-hubby, Quinn - he clearly wasn't interested. Ella is the same as Jordan I think (though she does have serious mental/emotional problems) - Mac was sweet to her and helped her out, and now she has fallen for him. But we know Mac belongs to Stella.

Ooooh, Mac-Stella tango sounds hot. Seriously, he needs to take her to the next charity ball at Gracie Mansion he gets invited to, then they can dance. A nice slow dance would be wonderful too, Mac holding Stella close to him....:drool:

Stella would look awesome doing the tango. Mac would be a bit uptight at first, but she'd get him to relax and loosen up, we know she can do that.

Of course, talking about the connections between Mac and Gary...Gary played Stanley in a stage production of A Streetcar Named Desire, and there is that scene where Stanley is yelling 'STELLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAA!' :drool::drool: We need Mac to do that.:drool:

I agree that when Mac and Stella make up, I want to see them talk it out. They're both mature adults, so talking it out would definitely fit with their characters, and boy, we need some in-character stuff for these two. And we need a hug and/or kiss when they make up, not just a handshake like in Officer Blue, they are so much further along than that now.

If Mac and Stella did get together, it would at least be an opportunity for them both to have an interesting storyline that didn't focus on either one of them being pursued/harrassed by some bad or crazy person. But I don't want a 'bedroom scene' out of the blue, like we got in Vegas CSI when Sarah was in a towel in Grissom's bathroom (I know there were hints they were together before that, but it was still really sudden).

Mac and Stella are definitely moving towards something, though. Like the thread title says 'You can't fight the inevitable'!

Yeap, i know it would sound as GSR but i don't care because i don't watch CSI LV

Could you imagine our surprise if at the end of Season 6 or beginning of Season 7 we find out they are married???

We need to wait a little longer. At least their arguement wasn't that bad and they both looked hurt and sad. Much better than the coolness between them at the beginning of this season:scream:

Exactly. That's just what i keep telling, if the writers were smart, they would read the boards! That would keep them from making big mistakes like pairing Mac with all the shi-nit's. Why keep adding regular characters that add nothing to the story with the sole purpose of being Mac or Stella's dates? I believe Melina must have lurked at leance once at some board..., because how would she know "people want it" (Mac and Stella together).

If Mac and Stella did get together, it would at least be an opportunity for them both to have an interesting storyline that didn't focus on either one of them being pursued/harrassed by some bad or crazy person.

@MacsLady: i'd love to see Mac harrassing Stella, or Stella stalking Mac... that sure hasn't been written yet

Last Thursday i watched 4.15 how they introduced the Major Lady a.k.a Jordan Pleaseeeeee! totally clueless that lady that hug to mac was simply ANNOYING:scream:

Thanks God Stella gave her what she deserved episodes later:drool: (Pity the major Lady interrupted the "sitting on your desk scene"

You have a good point. The Gillian thing and the fireman seem so gone.
But we are not the only ones bragging against these smacked saboteurs. The smacked thread on TV.com is titled "she doesen't need a fireman, she has a marine", if that's not enough for TPTB to get what we want, then i'm afraid TPTB are totally hopeless.

Perhpas we should consider opening a second "Smacked" thread solely dedicated to the art of bashing Mac and Stella's dates (you know, to make easy on TPTB to see how much we hate she-nit's and he-nit's!!) :lol:

Well, we have been mourning the ultimate lack of smacked, but at least we don't have she-nits in sight i guess (i don't think you can consider Ella a she-nit - even though i bet she would like to think she is hehe)

I beginning to wonder if Forbidden Fruit was really that bad

Actually Asprine it was not that bad. I think we all just had greater expectations and it did not pan out that way. When I watched it again for a second time there were a couple of "Smack" scenes like the one at the elevator when Stella tells Mac she is alright, she knew he was concerned for her "acting out of character" which was nice and the fight was not so bad either. I think we might as well just be ready to give it up this season because the D/L thing has taken any "relationship" stories away for now but we can still have a little more closeness and I think there will be some yet!

I agree with all my heart with you dear Lori. You will like it my sweet Asprine I loved how he ran towards her. But you know, he can't control Wild Stella However it was nice to see he was worried for her.
Also i LOVED that "hurting looks" scene through the glass walls. Melina and Gary are so fantastic you could feel Mac and Stela's hurt feelings for not agreeing with each other

Oh, if only! Stella would definitely know how to dance like that, but I'm not so sure about Mac. Hmm, maybe she could teach him? I wonder how that would go... *hears gio's mind fall into the gutter again* I thought so. They'd be trying to one-up each other the whole time. It might work in their favour though... especially with the sight of Stella in a little red number and Mac's eyes going all stormy.

Exactly. If I was a writer on a T.V. show, I'd go and read forums to see what the majority of fans want because, in the end, it's all about the ratings. And when the fans don't like what they're seeing, they don't watch. The ratings drop and BOOM! Cancelled. (Hehe, had to throw teh BOOM! in there).
