Yeah, with the way TPTB has been this season, they'll probably make the scene, hint on it in the promo and not show it
Ah you're kiddig me right? CSI:NY will start on January 14th again. In Germany they'll make a Christmas break, too....No..no that can't be happening:scream: At least Right Next Door will be aired on Monday *is happy*
Only one episode remains in this calendar year. I have to imagine the bigger stories are staying put until after the hiatus. It's easier that way. Stella has to follow up on her Greek diplomacy storyline
This was in one of my news CSI News Alerts! I have this premonition that we are going to get some really good "Smac" this Wednesday I dont know why but it is a strong feeling I am getting! Also I watched "Fallen Angel" last night. Garys character "Terry McQuinn" was so sweet to the little blind girl! She gave him a kiss on the check which was a heart melter!
Olivia wanted TERRY to read her a bedtime story! He said I never told a bed time story before as he was carrying her up the stairs. MAC WOULD BE A GREAT DADDY!!! If only we got the chance to see!! If you want to give yourself a little Christmas treat watch "Fallen Angel" and just imagine Stella as Kathrine!
I'm not sure what to make of this FBI thing. My very first thought was: "Oh no! Not Mac being framed again!". What's wrong with other authorities, they always pick on Mac so much!? . He was a Marine, he fought for his country, he lost his wife in 9/11, why keep questioning his loyalty and his patriotism? He's a good guy!
I think it's unlikely Stella is hiding the Greek guy thing because of the FBI (it seems unrelated subjects to me, not to say it hapenned a few episodes ago.), but then a thought crossed my mind: what if Stella is secretly, for whatever major (good) reason, working with the FBI in order to recover the flash drive? what if that was the secret she is actually hiding from Mac? (instead of the greek guy thing, which would be just a decoy for fans...) That would certainly be a secret that could mess with their relationship for a while. I'm 99,9% probably wrong here, but you never know... i just wanted to share!
That would be interesting, and could definitely cause some tension in Mac and Stella's relationship, if Mac is hurt that Stella let him think he was under suspicion for something he was innocent of. But won't the feds be looking at Hawkes too, as both he and Mac could, potentially, have stolen the flash stick? In that case, if what you say did happen, Stella would be keeping something from both Mac and Hawkes, which could be very interesting indeed. But if it is the Greek guy, he will be hurt that he didn't tell her about whatever it is she's going to do. If that gets her and Danny into trouble, Stella might also face some hostility or mistrust from Lindsay, for getting Danny, father of her child and man she loves (I'm guessing we're supposed to believe they're in love now?) in trouble....so Stella could end up in a tough position with lots of people - the Greek guy, Mac, and maybe others in the lab, depending on what her secret is. It would be nice to see Mac be the first one to 'come around' and defend Stella to any others who are upset by her keeping secrets. We know whatever secret she's keeping from him (and maybe others) she's doing with the best intentions, and I'm sure even if she and Mac fight over it, he will realize that eventually, and make things right with her, and she will apologize for keeping it a secret from him, whatever it is. I'm just so happy that it's not Lindsay's pregnancy Stella is hiding, that would have been silly.
Re the FBI guys, maybe Stella will go Rambo on them, and tell them to stay the hell away from Mac. I can totally see her saying to her the same things you said, about him being a Marine, losing his wife on 9/11, etc. She defended him to that lawyer in 'Comes Around'. Hehe, those FBI men are going to regret messing with Mac if Stella goes Rambo on them. Of course, there's also the possibility that the feds are crooked and trying to set Mac up, in which case hopefully we will see Stella save him, and give them a piece of her mind (i.e. kick their sorry asses). How wonderful would it be if Mac saved Stella from the Greek man, and she saved him from this whole flash stick thing?:adore:
Re 5.11, yeah, it's too soon for another stalker, but if we get Rambo Stella and some Smacked scenes out of it, I'll be satisfied. Also, though I'm pleased about the Greek man story for Stella because she deserves a good storyline and we might get some Smacked out of it, I'm really, really, really beginning to get tired of EP making Stella the victim of psychos all the time. This will be the THIRD 'bad man' after her. And now Mac's maybe getting a second stalker and somebody threatning his reputation and job again? I'm always happy for a good Mac or Stella story line, I really am, but what's with making them 'victims' all the time?
Re 5.17, it's so sweet that Mac and Stella will be D/L's witnesses. I smell a potential Smacked scene. I think that spoiler also hints that even if there is conflict between Mac and Stella re her hiding someting, they are close again by 5.17.
Awww, all the Mac/Stella/DLBaby scenes are adorable.:adore: I bet Danny and Lindsay will ask them to be godparents, probably along with Don, as usually people ask their closest friends or people they respect most to be their kid's godparents.
Re Mac and Stella and kids...I think they both want kids. Stella's reaction to babies/kids in 'On the Job' and RND certainly suggests she wants kids, and Mac's sadness when he told Reed he and Claire never had kids, and his interaction with little Sam in Necrophilia Americana, certainly suggests he would like to be a Daddy one day. And really, no one else could be Mummy except for Stella. *sigh* They'd make such wonderful parents. And their kids would not only be gorgeous, but smart, and tough - a mix of Rambo Stella and Marine Mac.
About Necrophilia Americana, when Lindsay says, 'There's something I never thought I'd see' when she sees Mac and Sam reading Sam's comic book together, Stella says nothing, just smiles. That suggests she knows Mac wants kids. Haha, she knows him so much better than Lindsay does! Lindsay thought she was so awesome for finding out Mac plays bass at Cozy's bar on Wedsnesday nights, but as we saw at the end of Time's Up, Stella already knew.
I was reading this book earlier, and this kid is talking about his mom and how she can 'read his soul' - she always knows how he feels even if he tries to hide it. Made me think of Mac and Stella, they can read each other's souls too, that's how Stella knew something was wrong in Can You Hear Me Now.:adore:
I agree, even if s5 is going to be mostly D/L, hopefully s6 will be much more Smacked. In fairness, we did get a really good season with s4, whereas D/L was mostly neglected up until 4.15. Hmmm, maybe s5 will get more Smacked later in the season, i.e. around 5.17? Let's not give up on s5 yet, guys. We know EP can write Smacked, s1 and s4 are shining examples. I really do believe they're putting Smacked on the 'back burner' for a while, to focus on D/L. But seriously, they need to stop with this thing where we're not even getting any friendship moments between Mac and Stella, and I really hope they don't go back to that distance/almost indifference they had between them in the very early eps of this season, because that is just stupid. But hopefully they won't, as we have had one or two Smacked scenes in more recent eps, and there are some good potentially-Smacked storylines coming up for both Mac and Stella.
Awww, you guys, sorry you have to wait till Jan 14th for the next ep after Christmas, that sucks! But here in England, I have to wait till the end of Jan for s5 to start, so I do know how you feel.
Oh, one random thing - does anyone agree that Mac and Stella have the closest relationship of any of the lead male/female characters on all 3 CSIs? Even thinking in non-romantic terms, their relationship is much deeper and closer than Grissom/Catherine's on Vegas, and Horatio/Calleigh's on Miami. They really are 'partners' and 'friends' whereas the other two are more just colleagues. Just my opinion, of course, some of you guys might also be G/C or H/C shippers. I love their relationship, it's one of those really special male/female relationships you get on tv, like Mulder/Scully or Josh/Donna (from The West Wing). BTW, I am a major J/D shipper too, I am on s6 of TWW right now, and they remind me a lot of Mac and Stella.
I agree with people who say they can't see the show without Mac or Stella. I just can't see either one staying on alone if the other left. But I don't think EP would do that. Even before I became Smacked again, I couldn't imagine the show with just Mac or just Stella.
Hi people I'm new and I decided to see if I could join your family. I absolutely love SMACked, it is the most amazing couple ever. I have the first season of it and I know they weren't dating, but they seemed like they were. I watched Blink and I thought it was cute how Stella walked in on him in the hospital. I was amazed that they weren't dating. The first season is filled with scenes.
Anyway, Bye
Brinaaaaaaa, *Runs up and hugs you really tightly.* I'm so happy that you've come in here to join the Smacked family, hopefully we'll give you lots of ideas for adding Mac and Stella into your fics. Don't be a stranger. Also a warm welcome to MacTaylor333, of course you can join the Smacked family too, it's always nice to have new members to the family. You can call me Steph by the way.
MT333, I agree with what you've said about season 1, it really seems like they are dating... Gosh, if only... I loved their unofficial date in Recycling, it was so cute... Especially when she mad Mac pay when he lost the bet. Oh, I wish we could have a return to the cuteness of season 1, hopefully later in the season things will begin to return to the way they were before... :adore:
I was watching episodes of season one, and I am quite fustrated Mac and Stella do not talk to each other the way they used too. Like in one episode in season one, Stella called this one dead guys head "gooey" and it was funny because Mac said "That's a word we should be using" ---or something along the lines of that. It was so cute. Now it's all like two second lines. I am not liking this season as much because of this lack of smacked relationship.

I was thinking about that the other day. How Mac and Stella are so much closer than the other lead male/female leads. I'm actually a GSR and a HOoRay (Horatio/Yelina) shipper anyway. They do have a special male/female relationship. Sadly, I've never watched either The X-Files or The West Wing so I can't comment. I do agree though that the show would suck without Mac and/or Stella. Same with how CSI:LV's gonna suck without Grissom.

YES! I love that quote "Gooey. Now there's a scientific word. We should use that more often." Yes, this season has a LACK Of SMACk and it bugs me. I'll say this again: The Lack of SMACk is Whack!
You're right, you couldn't find Mac and Stella's closeness and unique relationship in the other two CSI shows. I think Grissom and Catherine are friends but lack of communications in private. Catherine might knew better of Grissom but Grissom likes to keep things to himself and insensitive to human relationships, he's all science. As for Horatio and Calleigh, I think they are friends too. Horatio sees Calleigh like his family and apprentice. Calleigh has a crush on him but she understands he's not for her.
Mac and Stella are different, they are perfect match in work. They share their views on everything, work or personal. They have fights but make up real soon. People would think they are husband and wife if they don't know them. :adore: I never seen Grissom/Catherine or Horatio/Calleigh stood or sat so close that Mac and Stella did. Or their foreheads almost touch when they examine evidence together. That's why I believe Mac and Stella are more than friends and I love their relationship. :adore:
Harlow Mac/Stella Family! I wasn't in here for 3 days but it felt like YEARS! *Sighs*. I missed you all! Debbie, I'm sure you will be missing the ER. It's fun working in a ER isn't it? You get to experience lots of things!
Welcome every new comers to Mac/Stella Family! Hope you do have fun in here!

I agree that they are the most perfect, and i guess that happens mainly for 3 reasons: 1. The good chemistry between Melina and Gary. 2. The outsanding acting. 3. Both Mac and Stella are very emotionally MATURE and well resolved characters. (Side note: that's why i think their relationship wouldn't mess with the series dynamic. They seem perfectly capable of getting involved romantically without all the melodrama that it usually takes - like D/L and GSR, for instance)
But won't the feds be looking at Hawkes too, as both he and Mac could, potentially, have stolen the flash stick? In that case, if what you say did happen, Stella would be keeping something from both Mac and Hawkes, which could be very interesting indeed.
Good Point, why didn't they go after Hawkes too? Plot hole? Or maybe they'll do it later. Anyways, it would indeed be interesting Stella hiding things from them both.

About Stella hiding something from Mac. Well by now I'm sure it's not Linds' pregnancy, which is pretty good, because that would've been pretty lame and they deserve an interesting storyline that goes much deeper. I wonder how things will play out when Adam's month will be over...Ok that could be a possibilty for a conflict, but the possibilities you mentioned MacsLady and eyewitness are really interesting. It's complex and that's what they deserve but I'm not sure if EP are smart enough to write something like that...
Ok...don't beat me now, but I think they'll never get really together, first because Ep are way too stupid to handle a relationship in th elab without all the drama, drama baby,...and second, because I think the writers could think that this could affect the authenticy of the characters...you know you see a person differently when you are with him/ her and I think that they could make they always agree and stuff..Ok that sounded kind of confusing hope you got what I meant...
All I want for Christmas is Mac and Stella :adore:!
I brought something here again. Finally I watched Season 1 episode 5 and 6. Both were great but episode 5 doesn't have any Mac/Stella scenes. And I do get something in episode 6. Something which made me smile. I do hope they will make you all smile too.
Episode 1.06 - Outside Man They need no words to communicate. Their gaze speaks for them.
Hey'a guys
Welcome to DLChristmasAngel and MacTaylor333 hope you'll have a great time in here
here where i live its soo icy that you have to be careful about where you walk or you'll slip.. i know that and i found out the hard way *cough*many times*cough* and when i sliped, i started to think of Mac and Stella and that Stella/Mac would slip and one of them reached out to the on that sliped and they both end up on the ground with their arms around each other and faces close to each other:adore::adore: that one time i started to think of Mac and Stella, i of coursed sliped in the school yard on my way to the store and a teacher stod and watched (he was there to watch so no kids on the class under us sneak over to the store) and i started to giggle and i couldn't stop, my friends looked at me and thought i hit my head:alienblush::lol:

I won't beat you but I still dreaming they'll be together. I don't know, if the TPTB could bring DL together, why not Mac and Stella. It's outrages. :scream:
Asprine,
Thank you for the beautiful caps! Those gazes lockings, shoulders bumpings are my favorite. :adore:
MacTaylor333 and D/LChristmasAngel - welcome to the Smacked family. I find it very encouraging that despite EP's evil, un-Christmas-spirit-like doing (hey, EP, what happened to 'good will to all men? Give us Smacked!) - we are still getting new members of the Smacked family.
Asprine, good to see you again, and gorgeous pics. Love how they can communicate without words. It's like that Ronan Keating song 'When You Say Nothing At All'.:adore:
XmasBella, maybe you are right about EP and Smacked, though I'm still hoping. I just wish they'd give us some nice scenes between them, like that one from Rain back in s1. I absolutely :adore: that 'gooey' conversation. It not only shows their friendship, but also that Mac is starting to come out of his deep grief over Claire a bit by joking, and he does that with Stella.
Eyewitness, I agree with your 3 points about Mac and Stella's closeness on the show, their relationship is more subtle and mature than D/L is, it's very different to D/L. And yeah, Melina and Gary do have that wonderful closeness. And yeah, the spoiler thing I was talking about is annoying. One thing I like about the whole D/L storyline is that at least it doesn't involve one of them being a 'victim'.
