And are my eyes deceiving me?

That's Peyton. No she can't capture him. :scream::scream::scream: I like the Aubrey storyline... *thud*

Yeah, I know, I mean Aubrey is an ER doctor, and Peyton is/was a coroner. Does Mac *really* want her tending to him? I know Peyton is still a medical doctor and all, but still! But in fairness, I can't blame her for wanting to get her hands on Casual/Injured Mac in black, so I'll cut her some slack. No, actually, I'll just shove her out of the way and grab Mac for myself...um, of course, I would share....eventually.:devil:

I saw the episode of NCIS last night that deals with Gibbs' time in Columbia when he was in the Marines, and I was thinking I wish they would do something like that with Mac and his Marine background, just show us a bit of insight and depth, like the Beirut stuff in the s2 finale. Because, and this interests me, though Mac has some Marine memorabilia on display in his office, he very rarely TALKS about his time in the Marines, except in very general terms, like the odd mention of a Marine friend, or a comment about shining his boots or something, and that's stuff anyone in the military could recount, we actually know very little about Mac's actual personal experience of his service, except Beirut. *pokes writers with pointy stick*

TAYLOR GIRLS! CODE RED!!!!! :alienblush::alienblush::alienblush:

Our fav detective is injured! New promo pics! Here we go!

Aww...poor Mac! How did he break his arm?
*hugs and sympathy*

And I'm not so pleased at the arrival of Peyton...but maybe they'll make it work better this time. I mean, Mac has developed a lot since Peyton left. Maybe he'll be ready for her now *shrugs*

This picture is just begging for a little clever captioning.

Mac: Stella. You and the team better get over here quick. I see a horde of Taylor Girls heading this way. I can't tell if that's Sam222 or Carolyn333 leading the horde.
Stella (over the phone): Why are they heading there?
Mac: Horatio called earlier and said he saw where one of them had posted some pics of me with this cast on my arm on that Talk CSI forum.
Stella (over the phone): In that case, that's not a horde of Taylor Girls you have coming. That's a horde of Florence Nightingales you have coming.
Mac: Oh no.
Stella (over the phone): Oh yeah.
Mac: I'll talk to you later. I gotta find a place to hide.
Stella (over the phone): Good luck.

i have a theory on this actually (i know, me and theories about mac can be quite dangerously involved...particularly when it comes to his military past...). remember in 'Blacklist' where his father mentions his silver star? remember mac's reaction? it certainly was not what one would have imagined it might have been, circumstances taken into consideration and all. when his father mentions it, all he did was glance down and sideways almost reluctantly before looking back up. no nod, no sign of pride about it, as if whatever he did to earn that distinction he wasn't proud of for whatever reason. and based on the various pins and things on his uniforms, along with his rather complete reluctance to talk about it at all, i have the feeling he could very well have been involved in those 'you-say-you-did-something-other-than-what-you-really-did' type missions.

the other thing, is that given he spent most of his career in the middle east and the type of combat and tactics that he would have face and deal with, he certainly would have had to deal with civilian death. and it being mac, if he ever thought he was indirectly or otherwise responsible for such casaulties, while he would intellectually realize it wasn't his fault, he actually probably would consider himself at the very least partly culpable. and i think something did happen that causes him to this day to carry around a certain level of guilt and regret. what specifically, we could all conjecture away...... but as integral and vital to him as a person is his Marine past, there is definitely a dark past to it (beyond beruit) that he simply prefers to not even mention. and whatever he did to earn his silver star, i don't think he thought he deserved it.

*sniff* my poor mac..... he carries around a lot of weight on his shoulders...:(

^ i'd had similar thoughts actually, that although he was proud to have been a marine, he wasn't necessarily proud of everything he did as a marine, especially when i also spotted his reaction talking to his dad.

haha yes, poor mac, are you offering to ease the burden? ;)

^Jade and Lisa, I thought exactly the same thing when watching 'Blacklist', that he thought he didn't deserve it. It certainly could be because whatever he did to earn it somehow involved civilian deaths that he felt he could have prevented, or felt responsible for. Or it could be something where one of his men died, maybe he managed to save another Marine but another one died or something....that, as well as something involving civilian deaths, could certainly explain Mac's reluctance to talk about it - in COTP, remembering and talking about Whitney clearly was hard for him, he clearly still feels responsible in a way, guilty that he couldn't save him.
I wonder whether Mac's reaction in 'Blacklist' came from Gary's having met with soldiers, I know that often (and not just in this latest war, inall of them) many servicemen and women are proud of their service but don't always feel they 'deserve' the various medals and commendations that they get, and don't like to talk about all of their experiences. I just *wish* the writers would use/make more of those little moments.

Yes, poor Mac indeed, especially with that arm. He needs lots of TLC.:devil: And not from Peyton! She had her chance!:lol:

although, i'm going to call on my fellow sinister girls to corroborate my theory that that gorgeous last one is actually bts :( isn't that his personal jacket?

which doesn't preclude him wearing it in the show, but...... based on the other pics it'd seem ooc for the ep... :( *wistfully* mac needs to wear his leather jackets more often... :drool::drool:

Oooh, hot Mac pics!:drool::drool:

I just saw 'Pot of Gold'. Could Mac have been more sigh/drool inducing? Once again, they gave him something a little different - we've never seen Mac be the one to take active steps in a potentially-romantic relationship before - a few seasons ago, he would never have been so forward as to write a letter to a woman he met in a deli. I thought the letter was really sweet, especially how he wrote on the envelope 'to the beautiful brunette in the green coat' - awwwwwwwwwwww. And I LOVE how he asks Reed if he looks okay and also how he chokes on his coffee when Aubrey shows up, I was thinking 'Smooth, Mac', but in a way that made me smile and him seem even more adorable. Aubrey obviously liked it too.
I really liked getting another little insight into his personal life, too, in terms of what his favourite deli is. It was lovely of him to give her his second ticket, too. Awwwwwwwwwww. I also love that he thinks to take a second ticket.

Loved his interactions with Reed too, as well as his smile when he and Stella left the gold guy alone with the Treasury agent, and for some reason, that scene when he was looking through the fridge of chemicals then found what he wanted was really hot, IMO, too.

As with the previous episode, where Mac took on a different role in the case, here we saw him involved in the case in a slightly different, more personal way, because of Reed's involvement, and that was good to see.

Dangit Jade, if you keep posting these kinds of pictures, you're melting girls all over the world into a pile of mush!! :lol:

In-cluuuudinnggg meeeee~ :adore:

^ Yep. No matter how you feel about the finale , there'll at least be some hot Mac moments!:drool::drool::drool:
