Did anyone happen to catch the CSI NY marathon on the Spike Network all of New Year's Day? I was in heaven! Goodness, there were marathons on several channels with some of my fave shows: "Monk" on USA, "Mythbusters" on Discovery, "Bones" on TNT, NY on Spike, and the brilliant Canadian "Da Vinci's Inquest" on the Sleuth Network. Good stuff for a lazy New Year's Day! Whatta way to ring in 2009! :thumbsup:
And it was cute, I was flipping through the channels with my new boyfriend, and when he spotted CSI NY, he said immediately that we needed to watch some of it, because it's his favorite in the franchise. New boyfriend has excellent taste! (Of course, I haven't yet told him about my Mac Taylor fetish... he'll probably find out, soon enough :lol: )

I don't have any of those channels, but I did have a Mac fest last Saturday. And I'm hoping to have another one tommorrow.
And of course, next week NCIS and NY start, and Vegas the week after. I'm so happy, especially since Brothers & Sisters starts on next Thursday, too. For months, the only programme I really bother watching that has been showing a new series is Miami, and Horatio just can't do it for me the way Mac does. :devil:
Did you see the adverts on fiveUS for what's on on five 2009? It has both Vegas and NY CSIs, some very nice shots of Wet!Mac.:drool: Five does such great ads for the CSI shows, I like the one with Horatio walking funny (his head to the side, and then he walks away, looking like he's falling over:lol
and once they did one with Mac saying 'I'm a Marine, you little punk':drool: And ages ago they had that one with various CSIs and characters from House too and they were saying 'My name is whatever, and this is what I know..' And Mac said 'everything is connected', I believe. FiveUS were doing a whole 'dark Christmas' kinda thing with all the CSIs and various horror films, nice shots of Mac in those too.
