Another thing to make you feel better is that we are getting the new NY eps straight away here, starting the Saturday after this one (should be Apr 19). Someone on the UK thread checked RT. :bolian: Of course, I'm gonna watch them online first anyway, 'cause I'm too impatient to wait! I can't wait for new Mac! But re-watching the eps on my big tv is always nice. I'm betting that 'assets' scene from DOA For a Day will be even hotter on that.:devil:

I watched Bad Beat today. The story isn't great, but we did get Semi-Casual/Sweater Mac, which made up for it.:devil: He even got his gun out:devil::devil:
Hehe, in the scene where Flack and Stella are discussing poker, Flack says Mac has a poker face - you can never tell what he's thinking. Hmmm, I'd love to play poker with Mac...strip poker, that is.:devil::devil:

It's easy to see difference of Mac like between "casual" and "official" style..
But somehow I like both styles... But of course IF Mac is wearing white or black "tight" t-shirt THEN the casual style wins automaticly in my counts! :drool::drool:

I really like Mac in the latest season, we've had Action!Mac, Angsty!Mac, Pissy!Mac, Sweet!Mac, Super!Mac...really great as we're only up to 16 episodes. I really enjoyed the Mac development we got in The Thing About Heroes, it was interesting to learn a bit about his childhood. I also loved that scene in Time's Up when he talked to Stella about taking a chance on love and him and Peyton. I think since he dated Peyton, Mac has allowed himself to open up much more emotionally - we've seen him talk to Stella about love, and open up to Flack about his 333 problem and also about Peyton, and try to be there for Danny . Also
he has hugged people TWICE in a ROW. Mac isn't a big hugger, he certainly wasn't in s1 and so I think it's really significant that he's hugged people twice. He's letting himself be there emotionally and show emotion to other people.
So I think being with Peyton taught Mac that it's okay to show emotion and open up emotionally. I agree that he probably did that more before 9/11, especially with Claire, but when that happened, he closed himself off so that he wouldn't get hurt again. I think it's great to see that development in him. In s2, he loosened up physically by losing the ties and emotionally by smiling/laughing more, and in s3 he connected with Reed, which was a big emotional development, and now in s4 he's loosened up emotionally by talking to his colleagues about quite deep/serious stuff (his 333 problem, his relationship with Peyton) and hugging people.
Oh, I love Formal!Mac too. Hmmm, I think a pic is required...

If he had the sideburns before 9/11, then he definitely was sexy (even sexier than he is now). I bet Claire liked 'em. It's such a shame he lost them.
