Looking for new TV series to get hooked on

Wasabi Power

CSI Level One
I have always been a loyal CSI Las Vegas / Greg Sanders follower, and recently became OBSESSED with CSI Miami and Ryan Wolfe, I also watch Numb3rs and Eleventh Hour. Buuuut I'm having trouble finding any other cool shows. Anyone want to help?

I love NCIS. It's on Tuesday at 8 on CBS, Eastern time. (Dunno where you're from do it could be different.) The Mentalist is really new, and there haven't been many episode yet so it'd be easy to catch up. It's on 9 Eastern time on CBS. Again, could be different for you. :)

They're both "crimey" shows too, so maybe you'll like those.

You might also enjoy Criminal Minds (Wednesdays, 9pm Easterm, CBS). It's about a group of FBI agents who usually go around the country trying to catch serial killers. Even though there is some forensics and computers involved, they prefer to use profiling.

Fringe (Tuesdays, 9pm Easterm, Fox) is a weirder and funnier Eleventh Hour.

And yes, I also recommend NCIS. It is a spin-off from JAG (and soon might get its own spin-off). This is about a federal CSI type team that usually works on crimes against military people.

Oh, I will check it out. I know some people in my family who are hooked on that! Thanks! :)

Definitely NCIS! I just got into that show last year. It's kind of like CSI, but there's more focus on team interaction with each other.

I'd recommend the Mentalist :)
It's about a former psych who became a consultant with the CBI. (California Bureau of Investigations, I think.) He can read people in their behaviour and sees the little things. It's really good :)

Oh yeah, I've seen some of the Mentalist. It looks good! Thanks!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

So far I've got:
NCIS
The Mentalist
Criminal Minds

Muahaha, it's like gold for your inspiration.

Well, most of the shows I would reccommend to you have already been reccommended, but I have one more.

I would reccommend Law and Order:SVU. It's my favourite of the three. The show is about detectives in the Special Victims Unit of the NYPD, which deals with crimes mostly relating to sexual related crimes and crimes involving children. It's now in its tenth season. I've only seen a few episodes but I love it. It's on Tuesdays at 10 on NBC (That's if you're in North America).

I also love NCIS and Criminal Minds! Those 2 along with the 3 CSI's are the shows I watch every week.

Oh and I'd recommend House! I can't believe no one's said that yet. It's a medical drama and the main character, Gregory House, is just one of those guys you love to hate! Again, I fell in love with the show after about 2 episodes. Really good show but I'm not sure when it's on. At least not on the American channels.

I would recommend Burn Notice (its on Thursdays at 9pm central time- the hour after CSI on USA) and Leverage (Tuesdays 9pm central time on TNT).

Burn Notice is about Michael Weston who is a former spy who was blacklisted and got a burn notice and as he tries to find out who burned him and why, he also helps people out a long the way... people who have been scammed, threatened, etc. It's a very good show that stars Jeffrey Donovan as Michael, Gabrielle Anwar as his sometimes girlfriend Fiona and Bruce Campbell (whom I just :adore: ) as Michael's best friend Sam. Oh and Sharon Gless (from Cagney and Lacey) as Michael's mom.

Leverage is about a group of former theives who are now using their skills to help people who have been scammed out of money or out of their assests (homes, restauraunts, etc). It's a very good show with very funny and witty dialogue. It stars Timothy Hutton as the leader. Christian Kane (whom some might remember as Wolfram and Heart lawyer Lindsey on Angel- he even sang on one Angel ep). I don't know the other actors' names on there. I'd never seen any of them except for the guy that plays Hardison. He played on CSI as the guy that raped and nearly killed Pam (the woman from Too Tough To Die and The Happy Place). He is absolutely hilarious in this show.

Dexter is dark but good.

On the lighter side, "The big bang theory" is funny. I love geek humour.

Gossip Girl and Dirty Sexy Money is good as well
