List of songs deemed inappropriate following 9/11.

One in a long line of reasons why ClearChannel Communications is ruining FM Radio (and, now they are starting to ruin XM Satellite Radio as well). Although, with this list, I am surprised that Billy Joel's "Miami 2017" and Bruce Springsteen's "My City of Ruins" isn't on here.

I think they didn't put My City of Ruins on there because that entire album was about 9/11.

Um, My City of Ruins was written before 9/11. Actually, it isn't even about New York City. It did take on a whole new meaning post 9/11.

:lol: Seriously, these are just songs, and things like Elton John's Bennie & The Jets was written in the seventies. You can't make me stop listening to Led Zeppelin, Elton John and Bob Dylan just because they may be deemed inappropriate because of something that happened thirty years in the future. It was a tragedy, but none of the songwriters knew it was going to happen. And 'Dust in the Wind'?
