01. the coloring seems too much. Her eyes are way too blue and her skin is yellowish/orange.

10. The b/w box just doesn't fit well in this icon, takes away from it and cropping of it seems off.

03. Coloring is off and cropping seems to be a bit off.



.06 Great crop and color and nice idea for text.

.09 nice cropping job and color. like the color blends adds to icon.

Least:
1 - Calleigh's has an orange tint and her eyes are too blue. Also her head is blurry.
8 - The crop is showing too much of the body and ground. The text is dark and hard to read.
5 - The text is blending into the background and is hard to read. The face is blurry.

Best:
9 - I really like the cropping and the text and bullet holes work very well.
12 - I like the triptich effect and the text works very well.

Gret job to all, twas a very hard choice.

10 - The b&w box doesn't really fit the icon and the image is kind of oversharpened
01 - The colouring on Calleigh is too strong, her eyes are too blue and her face looks orange
08 - The crop isn't the best, not much to see of Calleigh and the lower text is hardly readable, black probably wasn't the best text colour choice

Best
06 - The colouring is great, not overpowering, and the text effect is really cool
03 - It's dark but with the colouring you can still see everything. The position of the text fits the icon well

10 - the B&W image stands out to much from the rest of the icon

12 - love the triple effect and coloring
5 - while I agree the text is hard to read - I love the coloring of this icon.

Least Quality

01 - Calleigh's eyes look too blue and her skin look too orange
05 - text seems to disappear into the background
10 - B/W box seems oddly placed and doesn't seem to fit in

Best Quality

06 - great crop, colouring is not overpowering and the text placed is awesome
11 - Nice simple idea, love the crop, text placement is great too

least:
8-its sort of dark, and altough i love the crop and how it relates to the text, it just seems it needs to be lightened up a bit. especially to make her lips really show.
1-the coloring is a bit overpowering around her eyes, and kind of forces the forcus there instead of to the whole icon.
10. the black and white box, seems a bit out of place. and kind of throws off the beauty of the rest of the icon (which i love btw)

best:
4. i love the coloring its perfect for the icon, and the bit of black and white contrasts well with the rest of the icon. and the brush fit very nice.
5. the coloring is gorgeous, its vibrant but not overpowering. and alghout the text is hard to read it doesn't really bother me because the rest of the icon is gorgeous.

side note- holy crap this was a hard one to vote on. everyone did amazingly well. congrats to everyone on beautiful icons.

2 - Weird cropping and the font is too fat.
1 - too much colour. It is too overpowering the rest, Text is oddly placed as well
8 - Cropping is odd, and the black font line is too overpowering the one above.

Best:
6 - nice colouring, nice brush work, nice text... just great! :)
11 - just plain gorgeous in coloring, cropping, text.

1 - The colring is too strong, her face kind of looks orange
3 - Her face looks a little bit too red for me


Best Quality:

4 - Lovely coloring and beautiful use of brushes!
5 - The text really is hard to read, but the coloring is awesome!

This icon is a bit different, and I like that. You took a risk with the cropping, and I think it worked. The splash of blue contrasts wonderfully with the black and white.

Ah yes, I was expecting this. :lol: It was great fun participating in this, and I'll definitely be around next time. And what's great, is I totally got further in this one than any of the other LIMS'. :D
